Basically, it's a story about Carmilla, who is a medieval woman that resented God and death, trying to save her wife when their village was being torn through by an enemy army. Her determination, her pain and fear, turned Carmilla into an undead being whose soul has lost its way to the other side and is forever stuck in the body that, although powerful, with time, kept deforming, decaying. She couldn't save her love either; her spouse was killed in front of her right as Carmilla's transformation was taking place, and, no matter the resolve, there was nothing she could do about it.

Fast-forward a few centuries, Carmilla is found by Helen Graves, who is this world's Integra, you guessed it, and is a head of the special forces group trained to slay supernatural monsters and take care of paranormal hazards. Helen and her group were investigating the disappearances of people in the mountains and returned from their task with a peculiar souvenir, their very own ghoul. There, in the dark forest, Helen and Carmilla made a deal. Carmilla would obey Helen and slay the monsters under her command, cleansing her own soul, and Helen would find a way to grant Carmilla the only thing she had wished for all this time. The embrace of death.

Calling Pamela an Abraham Van Hellsing 2.0 might be a little rich, her motivation for what she does is different and her view on Alucard is far less noble than that of Abraham.

But she absolutely sees herself as continuing and perfecting Abraham's ways, especially first couple of years of being a director.

Hello to those reading!

The new academic year has started in the country where I live and from now on I will be focusing on working on my comic (which does not have a final name yet, but I'm considering the title "my guiding star".)

It's a story about the experience of overcoming obsession with a person and the distorted thinking that comes with that obsession. It also goes into topics of black and white thinking, subjectivity of the world around and child abuse, so trigger warnings for that.

I will be creating a separate blog solely for my comic and will most likely be a bit more active there.

Right now I am incredibly busy irl, but I am working on the Victoria Seras ask response (very slowly, but I am, so this blog isn't abandoned, but rather on pause? Sort of? Long dramatic pause, how canon-accurate is that!)

and I have what? A freaking WHAT? It's a drawing tablet, ladies and gentlemen. Well, its a regular tablet, but I will DRAW on it. I am pretty excited to learn how to use the thing and I hope to soon be able to draw anywhere and everywhere.
