getting my ears repierced and hopefully a navel piercing later. im honestly so hyped even though its not that big a deal
#I spent like 3 hours waiting in the lobby of the tattoo shop because they only have one piercer#and there were a lot of people there for piercings#piercer was an absolute sweetheart tho <3#and I got my naval piercing :D

this might sound stupid but I can’t help but believe that the new wave of “birth control is actually horrible for your body, you need to get off it immediately” misinformation from influencers and the ‘natural cycle tracking’ apps suddenly being advertised is a sneaky underhanded way of causing more unplanned pregnancies that people now cannot abort. now is possibly the worst time ever to turn towards ‘natural family planning’

They should have a version of Duolingo where you can learn a language in the dialect of that language’s country bumpkins. I sound like a hick speaking English so why should I sound like an overly formal city slicker speaking Mandarin?
#literally insane how many official resources here in texas use castillian spanish for their translations#and it is almost certainly because translation software doesnt have options to specify for latin american spanish
