Opinions needed.

Designing a character that is a harvest goddess associated with sunflowers. She will have butterfly wings but I cant decide on the final design. I want the design to invoke sunrays and sunshine while using the colors from a sunflower photo I have.

The lighter one feels more like the sunray concept but the darker one looks more "natural" to the butterfly I'm taking inspiration from, the Cairns Birdwing, with the dark color outlining the colored parts.

I feel like the darker is more visually appealing on an artistic level but the lighter feels like it goes with the character concept more.

Fucks sake why am I starting to Like Adalind?!

I hate this bitch so so much for everything shes done to Nick and Juliet.

I fucking HATE what the show did to Juliet. Hell, Hate isn't even a strong enough word here! What was even the point of this?! Its stupid as FUCK. There was plenty they could have done with Nick and Juliet, they didn't need to basically kill her off. (yes i know about Eve but Eve isn't Juliet)

And the current Adalind could have been really great with Sean. They didn't need Kelly to be Adalind's kid. Or if they did, they could have been a blended family of Nick, Sean, Adalind, and Juliet in the loft with Kelly and eventually Diana and any kids Nick and Juliet had.

But no. Someone had a thing for Adalind and Nick so they just fucked over Juliet and all her growth in favor of setting up a relationship that shouldn't exist and doesn't even make sense from the over all series.

Yes, I do like the new Adalind. Shes snarky and funny and cute when she wants to be. She would have been great for Sean, pulling him out of the deception and anger he's lived with his whole life. She and Diana would have helped him turn himself into the Royal that the Wesen world actually needed, turning the Wesen Council more towards a modern age.

But instead they've decided to make being a Hexenbiest the reason Adalind and Juliet/Eve were evil bitches. Despite Sean's mom and Henrietta being relatively good people, the show wants to make Hexenbiests the default evil. They spend the entire show repeating how Wesen are all individuals and no one Wesen is good or bad. Except Hexenbiests, apparently???

Ya, I hate Adalind for what she's done but it wasn't because she was a Hexenbiest. She was just a bitch before. Since she's had her daughter ripped way from her shes begun to grow and be a better person. Since the conception of her son she's grown even more. I think they could have done her redemption arch without blaming all her "bad" on her birth race. She was a bitch after Nick took away her powers and she had started to change after she got them back.

Sorry. This was kinda long and rambly. Its more of a vent then anything. I'll try and do a Final Thoughts thats more coherent later.

Went to Wendy's while the car got worked on.

Girl at the counter went absolutely bonkers when she saw Rosie.

After I ordered she goes "can...I mean, I know shes working, but can she have a pup cup?" and I said yes. I expected, yaknow, the usual. The little mini cup with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream.

She comes back with one of the cups they use for chili and FILLED IT with vanilla ice cream.

Girl says "we dont usually give pup cups but shes just so darn cute I gotta!"

Rosie was in Heaven. Chased that cup around the table 3 times before she finished. Only a couple drips on the floor, too. She made more of a mess with the water I gave her after lol.

After all the extra work shes put in recently with my meds being out of wack she so deserved it.

So after being sick for so damn long last month, apparently all my meds got all fucked up. Stress of being sick, 2 rounds of prednisone, and 2 rounds of antibiotics finally killed the infection but it basically negated all other meds I've taken.

Had 3 major migraines that sent me to the ER (havn't had any that bad since I started the Emgality) and now I'm having panic attacks again.

Thankfully, the last Emgality shot seems to have worked properly and havn't had issues with that since the injection. Talked with my pcp about the panic attacks and she had me up my zoloft for a bit until things come back into a normal range.

Until then, I'm taking more of my emergency meds to mitigate attacks best I can.

Today, apparently, is going to be a bad day. Took the emergency meds but it takes a bit to kick in.

Que my perfect angel baby Rosie.

She rolled up on me like usual to cuddle but then pulled away quick. Was a bit confused until she grabbed her lamby (her current favorite stuffy) and all but forced me to take it. She kept nuzzling it and looking up at me until I cuddled it like a baby. Rosie cuddled into my lap for a hug then laid down next to me, her usual calm presence in these situations.

Fuck anyone who tries to say she isn't a service dog. Shes damn perfect.

The winners of Kadokawa's wordless manga contest were finally announced, so I think it's about time I share my entry, Magical Woman.

I can't say I'm surprised that I didn't place among the finalists, but I really enjoyed working on this, especially since I've Magical Kitty (Yeah that's her name don't come for me) has been bouncing around my and my friends' heads for over 10 years. I do plan on doing more with her, so look forward to it.
