WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?: I guess I’ll say Gowther/Nadja...I also like the concept of Gowther/Slader a lot, but I want them to get more development in canon since they really haven’t had much.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?: Fluff and angst, mostly...as of now, I don’t want to RP smut.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?: Tough question, as Gowther is around 545 years old, or 3,545 if you count the time he was put to sleep after the Great War. I won’t ship with any human muses under 18, and I guess nonhuman muses would have to be the equivalent of an adult for whatever species they are.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: Hmm...I’m definitely willing to explore different dynamics with Gowther and diverge from canon, and I’m all for letting him get some love and positive attention. But if I don’t think our muses have chemistry or I’m uncomfortable with the ship for any reason, I wouldn’t hesitate to decline a ship. Gowther’s also a difficult character to ship with, so I’d want some sort of dynamic established between our muses before we started shipping.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW?: Probably anything that goes beyond kissing, or if there’s a blunt conversation about sexual plans or topics. I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable, so I’d probably be pretty quick to tag things NSFW.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?: Nobody, aside from platonically.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?: Definitely. As I said, I'd have to consider whether I’m comfortable with the idea of the ship or not, and I wouldn’t consider shipping with someone unless we had a few threads already.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?: I haven’t shipped on this blog so idk? It doesn’t matter to me.

ARE YOU MULTISHIP?: I guess I’ll decide that if I ever need to make that decision.

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?: I don’t care much about shipping with Gowther, as I’m content exploring non-shippy interactions with other muses. But I’ve been more ship-obsessed in past fandoms- my past RPs were mainly ship-related. So I guess it varies, depending on my muse or what I’m into at the time.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?: I’m chill with a bunch of them but not super obsessed with a ship atm. I still like Nadja/Gowther a lot, and I hope we get another flashback or light novel chronicling their days together. I also platonically ship Gowther with all of the sins, along with Elizabeth and Arthur.

hey guys, sorry to reappear and then disappear so suddenly!! i’ve been super busy with school, and the bulk of my semester work is due this week. i probably won’t have the time to RP until sometime next week, but i’ll definitely try and become more active after school is done.

Gowther was unfamiliar with the shops on this side of Liones. It was indeed possible that he and the Princess could have taken a wrong turn while shopping for tools to rebuild the Boar Hat, but he currently had no proof one way or the other.

“Are you certain? Perhaps we should thoroughly examine the store before leaving, to ensure there is nothing here we need.”

He picked up a set of handcuffs from the shelf beside him, holding them up and looking them over out of curiosity.

“Hmm...these handcuffs are much weaker than the ones in the Liones prison. I do not see how they could effectively contain someone.”

“Most frown upon expressing dissatisfaction through murder, however, even if it is an eye for an eye.”

"Ah. So it is another question that has no clear answer, as different humans will respond to it in different ways.”

There were quite a few of those types of questions, it seemed. Human morals were quite perplexing.

“My abilities permit me to defeat or drive away my opponents without ending their lives, so I believe excessive murder is inefficient if there is another way to end a battle. But I do not object to killing opponents if it is necessary. These principles would likely apply regardless of whether I am acting out of personal revenge; although I have no experience in that type of situation, so I cannot be certain.”

He crouched down a bit, in order to clean the front of his armored legs.

“And what do you believe, Merlin? You revealed what different humans think about the matter, but did not specify whether they were your own views.”

Despite having spent fifteen years around humans and other assorted species, Gowther had observed little improvement in his own understanding of emotions. If comprehending human emotions did indeed get easier over time, how long must he wait? Elaine was over a thousand years old...perhaps she had gleaned some knowledge over her long lifespan that Gowther had yet to come by.

“Yes, I am familiar with imitating smiles. When I read a scene in a book that interests me in some way, I imitate the scene in order to try and understand the characters’ emotions. If characters smile in books, the author often describes them as happy or amused. I mimic these expressions in an attempt to feel the same way as the characters- however, I observe no changes in my own emotional state when I do so.”

Gowther recalled a particularly compelling scene from a book he had read a few days ago. Perhaps a demonstration would be suitable.

“Observe.”

“The character I am imitating is expressing great passion for the woman he loves. But I feel no sudden passion, although I am smiling.”

“Ban has mentioned to me before that you don’t really … well… get emotions.  I struggle to understand some human emotions, too.  But it gets easier over time.”  Elaine was fascinated by the pink-haired man.  Well… she thought he was a man.  He really acted more like a toy doll, the way he moved and spoke.

“Have you tried, sir Gowther, to smile a little?  We can’t always be happy, it’s true.  But perhaps it would help us to understand emotions a little better if we try our best to experience them ourselves?..”

Quite a few people were recommending that he shouldn’t question the usage of the term ‘daddy’. What sort of secrets were the humans- and potentially his fellow Sins- hiding from him?

Gowther nodded at King, remaining silent. But he vowed to investigate the mystery behind the term ‘daddy’ in the near future...he had to know the truth.

Honestly? If there’s one thing I’ve learned? Don’t question things with those two. Just let them.. Do whatever it is they’re doing.

Ban sighed, flipping through the book.  Maybe they could ask Merlin for help, but he didn’t like the idea of mixing magic and cooking at all.  Preparing a meal involved its own kind of magic, and its own spells.  Ones you couldn’t rush.

    “Right then, we’ll have tae improvise.  Ye can still get yer shiny fruit, though.  That’ll be yer job.”

He turned the book toward the armor again.

    “We’ll need candied citrus peels, an’ raisins, an’ glace cherries.  I’m sure ye can find some half decent ones at one o’ the shops near th’ castle.  This is Liones after all.  I’ll leave it tae ye, get us some guid, shiny, fancy fruits fer our fruitcake.  I’ll get th’ eggs an’…an’ th’ braaaandy. ♫”

       “Sound like a plan?”

Gowther nodded in response to Ban’s instructions.

“Candied citrus peels, raisins, and glace cherries- understood. I will do my best to find these shining fruits.”

He’d never been to any of the shops in Liones prior to this occasion; due to his armor’s massive size, the shopping duties for the Sins were always delegated to somebody else. The only items he ever required were books, which the Captain or Merlin always bought for him.

Shopping for food would be a new and potentially informational experience. Gowther wasn’t entirely sure which shops would contain the items he sought, but he could always ask one of the citizens in the streets for assistance if he found himself lost.

He stood up, turned to Ban, and gave him a salute.

“I shall take my leave now. We will meet again once I have gained the ingredients we require.”
