【 v. bleach. 】｡°,   aged 24 - 27, hiroe has been a soul reaper for nearly ten years since awakening her latent abilities as well as her dormant zanpakuto.

【 v ii. bleach. 】｡°,   alternate; aged 16 - 19, hiroe is a newly awakened soul reaper learning to harness and coexist with her zanpakuto to their highest potentials.

hiroe is placed in the  eleventh division  under both / either verse, and is considered a captain’s candidacy on thread dependency. 

for most of her life, hiroe was a relatively normal girl. she may not have been the brightest light bulb of the bunch, but she was definitely the sharpest tool in the shed. a more than astounding athlete since she could join sports clubs and activities, hiroe found her strengths in being strong, fast, and aggressive. this sort of reputation garnered a few fights here and there, but nothing that it jeopardized her school life. she’d go to school, participate in her sports and clubs, take care of a few bullies, and be home in time to help with dinner. her entire world had become her sister, especially after their father had died in a work accident when they were younger.

when her sister and her mother fell deathly ill, though, hiroe almost thought that was it for her. enraged with whatever powers that may be that could let this happen to people that lived their lives honorably, hiroe demanded an unreachable justice. a justice that awakened something dormant inside of her for years.

when a soul reaper had come to collect her mother’s soul, and soon her sister’s, hiroe had decided that was whom she’d pick a fight with. only sixteen and truly in over her head, hiroe had no idea what she was about to unleash on herself taking on that soul reaper. all at once all the energy she had dormant inside of her had awakened, and when she disarmed the reaper, the sword had taken on an entirely new form and shape--  had taken on a life of it’s own because of hiroe.

ever since, she’d lived her life between the living world and the spirit world, operating as a soul reaper and then some because of her unique circumstances in awakening her powers.

ZANPAKUTŌ

NODACHI UNCLASSIFIED TYPE   . . .   TSUYO.   強.

roughly a five-foot blade length, with a hilt grip of one foot. the blade is a component of high carbon and stainless steel with silver imbuement in a damascus forge. the hilt and grip is bamboo with braided leather threading over a polished grip. the hand guard is carved bamboo with a resin set, designed to resemble the shape of a blue-eyed grass blossom and painted accordingly as well.

SHIKAI RELEASE:   PERSEVERE!   頑張れ！

tsuyo’s blade will expand in width and become serrated with the damascus edge, the blade taking on a somewhat dark purple hue. by will or necessity, hiroe can extend the length of the blade or shorten it to adjust the impact of her blow with tsuyo.

tsuyo’s special shikai release ability is  “tsuyo’s blessing”. releasing shikai allows hiroe to amplify her personal strength and assesses the strength of her and her zanpakuto against other’s known strength during battle. it gives her a one-up after the initial assessment, and allows hiroe an edge above her opponent for as long as she can maintain that upper hand   ( before her opponent catches on / gets stronger ).

hiroe has  three  overall abilities granted with tsuyo’s shikai release.   “yōshanai”,  which is a succession of slices in a volley of up to twenty-five strikes, where each strike / slash increases in strength and speed for every previous hit she lands.   “musabori kuu”,  an ability that grants hiroe temporary enhancements of strength for every blow she lands successfully that drains a certain percentage of strength / energy   (between 5% and 10%)   from her opponent.   “hakai”,  the strongest of her three basic abilities that concentrates all of her strength and available energy into a full out overcharged blow with the blunt side of her blade that aims to both slice and bludgeon with enough force to split not only her opponent but their weapon and anything in the slice’s direct path up to eight feet beyond the blade’s initial reach.

YURUGINAI TSUYO.   揺るぎない強.   BANKAI!   卍解 ！

hiroe’s bankai incases her in an impenetrable “armor” or “second skin” that resembles the damascus pattern of her blade, guarding and strengthening her physically to combine both zanjutsu and hakuda techniques using her and her zankaputo harmoniously.

upon bankai release, tsuyo and hiroe are granted three more specialized abilities   (currently under construction).

【 v. dragon ball. 】｡°          god destroyer

the gods involved with her original universe were rather diligent about their watch over all those living in their universe, in their domains. when one particular god had seen what would be in store for little hiroe right as she was born, they’d kept a rather close watch over her, seeing promise and entertainment at the very least out of indulging in the girl’s fate.

so when things were starting to line up and it was clear hiroe was making ways to change her fate-- or rather, the fate of her beloved sister, the god of destruction answered.

hiroe was only sixteen and though only a mortal human, she proved to be rather formidable. far more capable than tsuyo could’ve ever imagined for her. so when they fought, and when she cursed him for letting such horribleness happen to such good people, and when she managed to get an upper hand over the god, he wanted to broker a deal for her. he knew if he were to be defeated, a lot more dominos would go off around their universe than they could probably handle. if she could defeat him, he would send her somewhere that she could live up to her full potential and still save her sister, because if she won, then her entire universe would be destroyed anyway.

well, hiroe did win, and tsuyo had to uphold his promise. before admitting defeat, he let hiroe absorb all of his power and more, relinquishing the role of destroyer in order for things to play through as he’d like them to. his angel would do as he requested, and hiroe was sent to a parallel universe in a parallel time where she could live with her sister in peace and ensure her safety as long as she protected the rest of the world, too.

hiroe landed in universe seven in year 756, still sixteen years old and not entirely sure that everything that happened was even real. until she’d ran and found her sister just to learn that hiroe had died instead, and that hinako was the one left alone.

ever since, hiroe has taken care of hinako and used her newfound strength to protect the new world she belonged to from various threats, all while training to become as strong as she could be.

【 v. jujutsu kaisen. 】｡°          the accursed sorcerer

after her father was killed at the docks, she and her family moved to tokyo to try and start anew. tragedy and misfortune were befalling her family one after another like massive dominos and it didn’t sit right with hiroe. it didn’t feel right. her family were good people that didn’t deserve such cold deaths, and she was determined to try and find a way to save her sister at the very least since she couldn’t save her mother and father.

that’s when something had awoken inside her.

going to a shrine to try and pray and ask for answers brought her the exact opposite of what she thought would’ve been a god. by all means, and nearly by all powers though, did a godlike thing answer.

she was sixteen when her cursed energy manifested in full in all of it’s immense power. a curse that claimed to be the harbinger of her misfortune stood before her in that shrine, massive and with a presence so strong it felt like walking through molasses. it wouldn’t stop hiroe, though. without really knowing or understanding what she was fighting, she took on that thing head-on and won.

it wasn’t until a day later when a few strange adults had found her on her way home and explained a few things to her that hiroe understood what happened that night at the shrine, and how her sister was miraculously healed of her illness. when offered to start learning more at a specialized school, hiroe accepted and had undergone training to become a jujutsu sorcerer and to hone her abilities and techniques.

once she’d graduated and had learned the full extent of her abilities, hiroe decided to stay in the jujutsu world for the most part instead of seeking out some sort of business job like her aunt would’ve liked. either way it put food on the table and it kept hinako in school, so hiroe wouldn’t complain.

she now operates as a grade one sorcerer, nearing a special grade status thanks to her technique. now and again she’ll take up mentorship roles and aid on special grade missions depending on her availability.

【 CURSED ENERGY MANIPULATION 】. . .  immense cursed energy

hiroe’s was latent and activated when the magnitude of her negative emotions were  “awakened”  with her energy and subsequent techniques. because they were awakened so suddenly and within contact of such a high-grade curse, her cursed energy is closer to that of what a special grade sorcerer may harbor and can grow due to her cursed techniques.

【 INNATE TECHNIQUE 】. . .  devour

because of her encounter with the cursed spirit  tsuyo,  and because of her innate technique itself, hiroe is able to absorb and “eat” the cursed energy of both humans and curses alike. by consuming a curse’s cursed energy, she also consumed the curse itself, one way of exorcising the curse. is usually more effective on curses grade two and below. by consuming a curse or cursed energy, hiroe can effectively amplify her own cursed energy and manipulate it to her use both offensively and defensively.

【 INNATE TECHNIQUE 】. . .   maximum: last supper

the maximum’d and most extreme use of hiroe’s “devour” technique that allows her to consume the maximum amount of cursed energy in a 100m range, including any curses in that range  (excluding special grade).  using her maximum will temporarily immobilize hiroe until she releases the gathered cursed energy in an attack or by summoning her shikigami all at once.

【 INNATE TECHNIQUE 】. . .  shikigami

hiroe can summon up to six shikigami. each shikigami are closer to that of manifested curses than they are jujutsu shikigami, the only real difference being that they are under hiroe’s command and seem to harbor a personal bond and protective sense over hiroe  (speculated to be due to her encounter with the curse tsuyo).  her shikigami are named after the chess pieces and seem to resemble such roles when summoned and are named accordingly.

【 INNATE TECHNIQUE 】. . .   godkiller

a technique similar to  black flash,  hiroe is able to channel an instance of the concentration of cursed energy equivalent to 98% of all cursed energy in her possession and land it within a 0.000001s range of her attack. like black flash, godkiller is mostly involuntary and relies on a total concentration or total lack of concentration in battle that dictates an “automatic” response in order to achieve and land, especially consecutively. hiroe is able to achieve black flash, however because of the concentration of her cursed energy and the circumstances of her techniques, godkiller has been specially designated to hiroe  (since she is technically the creator of this curse-imbued taijutsu).

【 TAIJUTSU 】. . .  brawl style hand-to-hand combat

though her execution is much more  “street style”,  hiroe is still an exceptionally strong combatant hand-to-hand  (part in due to her cursed energy amplifying her natural abilities).  having a background in muay thai, jiu jutsu, and karate as a child helped elevate these skills.

【 v. main. 】｡°          hiroe’s main verse

years after killing the god  tsuyo,  hiroe leads as normal a life as she can try to manage.

since killing and absorbing tsuyo, there have been countless threats cropping up into the world like demonic entities and wrathful or vengeful deities and demigods. hiroe received countless threats against her life, against the earth and the world as she’d know it. threats she had to learn how to face head-on;  the direct consequence of her actions  (and of tsuyo’s, but he’s dead and doesn’t have to deal with them now).

in those years gone by, hiroe has trained harder and harder to become stronger and stronger, a neverending growth in the pursuit of protecting humanity and, most importantly, her little sister hinako.

falling from one odd job to another and often getting fired from what part-times she can manage to land, hiroe navigates her adulthood in a strange and boundless manner. motivated both by money and sheer dumb curiosity, hiroe goes where life takes her and then makes sure she’s home in time to make dinner with hinako.

in her spare time if she’s not working, hiroe is usually hanging around her friend kenichi’s pachinko parlor, the halcyon, where she has at least the one permanent job in place as a bouncer / security professional.

hideo was born and raised in sakaiminato, and lived in a home on the street behind hiroe hisashi’s. ever since they were small children, hideo had admired hiroe for her strength, dedication, and her always growing beauty. she was an inspiration, someone that showed consistent confidence and wonder for life. hideo always wanted to be like her.

growing up, his family had been well off. his needs were met and taken care of. he attended a private school, which had become somewhat an isolating experience for hideo, who only wanted to feel like a normal kid his age. his parents were unattentive, and often focused their energy and affections on his older sister (who showed exceptional intelligence and promise compared to hideo’s childish behavior). he felt alienated despite all the good he was set up for in life, all because he couldn’t always get something his way.

his relationship with hiroe was a lot like that.

hideo went out of his way to befriend hiroe. she lived a street over and was occupied often with sports and her family, and he knew he’d never be her friend if he didn’t say something first. she was quick to befriend him, excited to have a friend live so close to home, and was a constant companion of his. but when she wouldn’t praise him for things he felt he was deserving of, or wouldn’t play a game the way he wanted, he began to spite her. this spite only grew when others had began infiltrating on his time with her. others that went to school with her. hideo felt hiroe was stolen away from him, when in fact, he just could not keep up with the type of person hiroe naturally was, and still is.

despite it all, hiroe did remain steadfast friends with hideo. he had meant a lot to her over the years they’d known one another. hideo had actually been there emotionally for hiroe when her father passed, and then her mother, and then when her sister had fallen deathly ill. he’d snuck into her room and spent the night in secret countless times. the two truly shared a very unique and impressive bond, one which hideo didn’t seem to see beyond what more he wanted from hiroe.

it all came to a decline when they were sixteen, and suddenly she was... different. hiroe was gone more often. she was bruised and battered whenever he’d see her walking home late from school. she had a different look in her eyes, a weight to her atmosphere that wasn’t there before.

it ate at him.

to this day he still holds a lot of scorn for hiroe.

FULL NAME:  ikuo nakamura   中村 征夫 OCCUP.:  independent finance manager, tax broker RELATION:  hiroe’s childhood friend STATUS:  alive

ikuo was born in tottori prefecture’s capitol and for a few years raised there as well. he’s the oldest of three brothers and was raised by a single mother, always having admired her hard working attitude. when he was seven, his family had all moved to sakaiminato after his mother was transferred for a job. ever since, he’s lived in sakaiminato rather comfortably.

he’d met hiroe when they were in grade school, taken aback by her shameless honesty and her almost boyish way of goofing off. she was also the first person to kindly greet him and immediately propose to be friends. ever since, the two have stuck together through thick and thin. ikuo provided a much needed levelheadedness to hiroe’s brash and aloof behavior, and especially so when they’d met who’d be the third in their little golden trio, kenichi.

ikup remained a top marks student and graduated top of their class, pursuing a career in business and finance shortly after graduating. he attended university, if anything just for show, while working and handling finances of family and friends already. when kenichi took over his family’s pachinko parlor, ikuo became his lead financer and helps manage the funds side of the business. hiroe acts as a sort of bouncer for them, and the three remain inseparable to this day.

FULL NAME:  kenichi shinoda   篠田 謙 OCCUP.:  owner and operator of   halcyon pachinko RELATION:  hiroe’s childhood friend STATUS:  alive

kenichi was born and raised in sakaiminato. both of his parents were owners of different businesses, and they lived fairly comfortably because of this. his father and that side of his family owned a chain of pachinko parlors and arcades in sakaiminato, and his mother and her side of the family owned several different convenience stores. when they’d taken over completely from their parents, kenichi and his folks moved from one side of sakaiminato to the other and that was when he met ikuo and hiroe. specifically, it was when he was approached by hiroe and was practically demanded friendship of. ever since though, he’s been a loyal and steadfast friend to both hiroe and ikuo who’d taken him in as a friend without hesitation.

he was somewhat bullied for his appearance growing up, moreso when he started bulking up and playing sports. he was harassed constantly both by those that didn’t like the way he looked and those that assumed he must’ve been in some gang being as big as he was. thanks to hiroe constantly bailing him out and chasing away any bullies, kenichi remained out of trouble for the most part. he was a kind and gentle person at heart despite his intimidating appearance and was ever the softie about everything and anything. not only that, but kenichi wasn’t the brightest, either. even so, he managed to keep his grades up enough that he kept up with hiroe and ikuo and graduated with them.

after graduating, he was immediately given a warehouse by his parents to convert into a business of his own, and he did just that.

kenichi opened “halcyon pachinko” around the neighborhood he, ikuo, and hiroe grew up in. a pachinko parlor, arcade, and bar, kenichi wanted to bring in an atmosphere of fun for people their age and older since there wasn’t many in the neighborhood to begin with. ikuo came along as his financial advisor and the business has been swimming since. he’s constantly teased and somewhat hounded by local police for being suspected of money laundering or yakuza activity, and it’s only because of his appearance. it’s become somewhat a gag between the trio.

now he runs halcyon pachinko hand in hand with ikuo, with hiroe as their bouncer when needed  (since kenichi could never even think of trying to throw someone out for a ruckus).

FULL NAME:  fujiko hisashi   永 富士子 OCCUP.:  nurse RELATION:  hiroe’s aunt - hiroshi’s sister STATUS:  alive

fujiko was born two years after hiroshi, but their entire dynamic felt like she was ten years older than him. a much more mature and serious type of person compared to her brother, fujiko was a good balance that kept him on track. she was a top-marks kid ever since elementary school and had kept it up all the way through graduation, deciding to become a nurse early on purely out of medical interest. she originally wanted to become a surgeon, however found herself with much less patience than what was required. she blames hiroshi for dwindling that.

when her brother had finally gotten a girlfriend and seemed to be shaping up, fujiko let herself focus more on her own responsibilities then knowing her brother was in good hands. she would eventually graduate herself and pursue medical school, pouring all she had into her studies. in no time at all she’d become a nurse and worked between two hospitals in sakaiminato and has worked as a nurse ever since.

after some years and she was granted to nieces, fujiko was more involved with hiroshi’s family and especially with hiroe and hinako. whereas hiroshi harbored a soft spot for hiroe, fujiko found herself much more fond of hinako when she’d met her  (maybe because she was almost the opposite of her brother).   she was around almost weekly after work or on her days off to visit the girls and to help megumi out, the two having become rather close themselves.

when hiroshi had died, fujiko was beside herself. knowing megumi must’ve felt the same, fujiko proposed to move in just temporarily until they both got their bearings back together. but then megumi had gotten sick, too, and she’d lost megumi as well. she was about to lose hinako she’d thought when she’d nearly miraculously recovered and was able to be discharged back home.

hiroe seemed to have changed just a bit since then, but fujiko chalked it up to having nearly lost everyone and the dawn of it never leaving. since then, fujiko has permanently moved in to take care of the girls on megumi’s behalf, raising them the way she best knew how the both of them would’ve wanted their daughters raised.

FULL NAME:  hinako hisashi   永 陽子 OCCUP.:  student RELATION:  hiroe’s sister STATUS:  alive

hinako is hiroe’s younger and only sister. born ten years after hiroe, she was born into the same love and care as hiroe and even moreso since she had her big sister to love and dote on her, too. she’d even garnered the favor of her aunt fujiko, hiroshi’s sister, as a baby and was spoiled by her, too.

as a kid, she was glued to hiroe’s side  (half out of admiration for her sister, half because hiroe would hardly let hinako out of her sight).   hinako was the gentler and more softspoken of the two girls, hiroe the ever outspoken one on behalf of her sister. being so much like their mother, hinako and megumi were much closer than hinako was with her father. it was a little harder to make friends, being so shy, but because of hiroe helping to pry hinako from her shell now and again, she was never really alone.

hinako developed a particular affinity for poetry and music when she was younger, reading poems or short stories and listening to music while waiting for their parents to get home or while hiroe cooked for her. she wanted to become a musician and study different instruments and perform all across the world and shared this dream with her family.

things became somewhat duller when her father passed away. hinako was only seven when hiroshi died, but the atmosphere of grieving was still an impactful one for her. she stuck herself deeper into poetry and music at this time, and hiroe was ever a staunch supporter of this love while she dealt with the strangeness around her.

slowly she’d pick up a few instruments here and there, gifted by her aunt fujiko or offered to borrow from the school. she’d been the best at the violin and focused on that the most. even as things seemed to get harder, they were still together and to hinako that was all that mattered.

then her mother suffered a stroke, and passed away. the news hit hinako rather hard, and especially with her own declining health, hinako wasn’t sure she’d make it, either.

but then hiroe showed up suddenly one night, and almost like she was never sick at all, hinako had gotten better.

they had to bury their mother, and for a while it was silent in their home. their aunt fujiko had moved in permanently to take care of them, hiroe being the one to care for hinako the most while their aunt worked. slowly things would build to a steady norm and they were able to smile again. hinako picked the violin back up and chased her dream more head-on, wanting to play loud enough and beautiful enough that both her parents could hear from the beyond.

now sixteen herself, hinako goes to school and does her best to remain on top of her studies as well as her music lessons in order to be accepted into a prestigious music school when she graduates.

hiroshi is hiroe’s father and megumi’s husband. born and raised in sakaiminato, hiroshi had no honest plans to ever really leave their tiny little town or really.. any plans at all. he was somewhat a goofball and very much a klutz, and overall a kind and caring person. he was no star student, but he definitely did enough that his grades were never a problem for him  (just his mouth).  in middle school, he’d met megumi and ever since had never left her side. even as kids he’d vowed to marry her  (a vow to himself really, but one met nonetheless)  and would stick by her side no matter what. he even tried a little harder when it came to highschool, wanting to secure a career so that at least, should his wish ever really come true of being with megumi, he could provide for her without worry.

they would graduate and hiroshi would finally work up the courage to confess his feelings and ask megumi out, finding out she’d felt the same all along. the rest was history. he’d gotten into a vocational school for repairmen in mechanics and woodshop and applied himself wholly. soon after, hiroshi landed a job at the sakaiminato docks where he could fully apply himself.

eventually, he and megumi would marry and have two beautiful daughters they could pour their love into. hiroshi had the softest spot for hiroe who was the most like himself  (a rather goofy kid and honest to boot),  and would constantly dote on her the most. though he’d never aim to spoil either daughter, hiroshi would go out of his way to bring gifts or little treats home for each of them  (and megumi!).

a wild storm had torn through the coast when he’d been at work one evening. they were securing all the boats and equipment down, having believed to have enough time to do so before evacuating the docks when a crashing wave swallowed hiroshi and a few other workers as well.

FULL NAME:  megumi hisashi   永 恵 OCCUP.:  daycare operator, daycare teacher RELATION:   hiroe’s mother STATUS:  deceased

megumi is hiroe and hinako’s mother and hiroshi hisashi’s wife. growing up, megumi always had a sense for caring and gentleness about her, a quality that many admired her for. she may not have been top marks at her schools, but she was a model student regardless for her diligence and dedication to her education. she’d met hiroshi when they were in middle school and though they never admitted their feelings until they’d graduated from high school, the two were constant companions since they’d met.

when megumi graduated, she already knew she’d be on the path towards childcare well before their career aptitude tests. she’d graduated, gone to university, and soon enough graduated and was able to open her own daycare on the east end of sakaiminato where she and hiroshi would live together after dating for some years.

soon enough, she and hiroshi would marry and have hiroe, their first daughter, and then five years later hinako. they were a happy and loved family, doing what they could to raise their daughters right and to make sure they were cared for.

when hiroshi had passed away and it was just megumi and her girls  (and thankfully fujiko, hiroshi’s sister),  things had gotten harder for megumi. bills were stacking up and even though fujiko offered to help where she could, megumi felt it was her responsibility alone to provide for her daughters and took up as many jobs as she could. she eventually fell ill with a fever that’d gotten wildly out of control because of her exhaustion and succumbed to it. megumi had left hiroe and hinako in the care of fujiko ever since.

HIROE’S STRENGTH.

TSUYO’S BLESSING.

tsuyo has granted hiroe his “blessing”, meaning her durability, endurance, and strength are enhanced to that of a god’s and can continue to grow and manifest, as per tsuyo’s “prosperity” blessing, the stronger she gets.

when hiroe absorbed tsuyo, she absorbed all of the properties which made tsuyo a god. she is still, technically, mortal and can die a mortal death since she refuses to take the official mantle as a “god”, and therefore refuses the “godly blessing” from creation. with tsuyo’s blessing, hiroe can absorb the essence and energy in existing things and use them at her will in an effort towards her own strength and endurance. she will encase her body and limbs in this absorbed energy, and by using tsuyo’s blessing, converts it into her energy and uses it accordingly. sapping this energy does not drain that of which she takes it from, which creates a near-limitless access to energy.

most of her general combat using tsuyo’s blessing involves imbuing her attacks with her energy to amplify and strengthen her attacks to the appropriate levels according to the threats she’s handling  (she doesn’t really like overkill, though highly highly capable of it).  kicks, punches, vollies, etc. are all usually imbued with tsuyo’s blessing to amplify her attacks when the threat is non-human.

in order to perform long-distance attacks  (though the precision is not the best),  hiroe can also use tsuyo’s blessing and the energy collected to use as projectiles / projectile weaponry. hiroe prefers not to use these unless the threat is dire because of the destructive power of the raw energy when not conducted through her in a physical attack.

GODKILLER.

a one-shot punch.   hiroe will divert a large portion of tsuyo’s blessing into one fist, in which she uses to deliver a devastating and, in most cases, lethal blow. because she has to divert most of the blessing’s energy to the fist, most of her body is less guarded and more susceptible to an attack.

a protective barrier using tsuyo’s blessing.   hiroe can encase herself and multiple others at once with tsuyo’s blessing and gathered energy in order to strengthen their bodies and protect them from varying levels of harm  (depending on how much energy was gathered and then used for the armor/shield).  hiroe will often have this around herself 24/7 and has even managed to master use of armory in her sleep, though it’s at a somewhat weakened state then when she’s awake. she can form a barrier or shield with it off of a person or thing’s figure, but it is significantly weaker since it isn’t attached to a “source” of energy in midair.

ATONEMENT.

a fortifying healing technique using tsuyo’s blessing.   hiroe can fortify and strengthen her body to heal her own wounds and injuries. in order to use this on other people, she has to be making physical contact with both hands in order to stabilize the transfer of energy and in order to make sure the process does not over-fortify or calcify the wound / injury being healed.

PRAYER.

the act of gathering surrounding energy / essence in order to fuel tsuyo’s blessing or other subsequent attacks.   hiroe prefers to do this on her own time or from a safe location and tries to do this at least twice daily in order to remain carefully prepared with energy. though she has a near limitless capability to gather energy, she does not have the personal or physical capacity to keep limitless energy in / on herself without serious repercussions.

強 TSUYO.

GOD OF STRENGTH,  ENDURANCE,  PROSPERITY,  AND  GROWTH.

considered a  dead god,  forgotten and out of modern influence and worship for over several millennia. even he has forgotten his original name, and took up the name  tsuyo  after settling a resting claim over japan and learning their language more intimately.

from his conception, tsuyo was a god that granted strength to anything the needed or required the property in order to “exist”. for a tree’s trunk to remain unwavering, tsuyo had to work with the other gods responsible for that tree’s creation to keep it strong and to make sure it would endure. then, over time, as more creation would occur, and as tsuyo would become obsolete with the conception of new gods and deities, he would fall out of his grace if only in remembrance.

he would aid where he could in the way only a nameless and faceless god could. a touch of blessing here and there during war for troubled or weakening soldiers, a breath of endurance for those experiencing hardships and lows to get them through.

being a dead god meant he may no longer have been needed, but it did not mean he was left out of the communication of the gods. he had heard of a particular girl that was fated for rather dire situations, for something greater than she was equipped for as a human, and that none of the gods could possibly have been able to interfere.

well, he wasn’t one of  them  anymore, was he? if he was already dead, then the plan he had wouldn’t be far from his title.

HIROE & THE GOD FIGHT.

hiroe was  sixteen  when she’d struck and killed a god.

hinako was six and close to dying when hiroe was told that there may not have been much else the hospital could’ve done for her sister. hearing this, she’d come up with an arguably batshit idea herself to pick a fight with whatever god was listening.

the agarimichi shrine was the closest shrine to her home and the only place she could think of in her moment of mania to go and face a god that was listening, a deity, anything that listened to her challenge. she went in the dead of night after her aunt fell asleep and the lights in the neighborhood were all out. she’d ran the entire way there and managed to climb into the shrine without too much of a ruckus being caused.

she prayed. she tried to, anyway. prayed as hard as her mind could, begging for some kind of answer, for some kind of clarity as to why and how her family came to be punished like this with such cold deaths. when all she was met with was silence, she was ready to scream and shout and pry whatever answer she could out of the air with her bare hands. before she could, though  (and before disturbing the keepers of the shrine),  hiroe was swept up into a realm between that of earth and the gods.

the god that answered did so somewhat out of pity  and  because he had plans for her. always had, since she was born.

a god of strength, endurance, prosperity, and growth common in warriors and hardship. he had many names mistaken for him. hachiman..   atlas..  but to hiroe, he explained that he was a god long forgotten, long replaced, and already dead before she’d come to challenge him. that he’d been watching her from the start because he knew the universe had many tragedies planned for her, that she would need his blessing in particular.

he did not explain to her that he had planned to give his essence to her, that he had so much more in store for her and wanted to equip her for what the universe and other existing deities were going to throw at her. a part of it was he didn’t  get  to explain, hiroe acting brashly before he could ever finish, but he knew that would happen, too. he knew  everything  that would happen until the point of his end, and the point of her narrative beginning.

so when hiroe struck him with her fist, and when it  actually hurt,  he knew he had chosen wisely the last human to receive his full blessings, to receive him. 

they would fight. hiroe wouldn’t hold punches, wouldn’t let down. she attacked the god with everything in her and more, fueled with every hit she landed on the god. and he would fight back  (without fatally harming her, of course- that’d ruin his plans).  he didn’t want to hold back too much, though. he wanted to push hiroe, wanted to see just how far she’d go, and she went pretty far for such a young mortal. so when she finally seemed to catch up to his pace, he decided it was time to give in to the fight. he wouldn’t hold back, but neither was hiroe. the fight, by all means, was fair in the eyes of godlihood. hiroe had won over him with one single, devastating blow like the one she used to start their fight.

he knew he couldn’t explain to her that certain qualities existed with others hand in hand, and that the domain and responsibility of gods was to maintain this coexistence. he couldn’t explain to her that he wanted to mentor her much sooner than this, to let her understand her part in everything. instead, he parted with just a simple and haunting phrase, hoping she could one day decipher it for herself.

          ❝ this, too, shall make you stronger, as i have always intended it to.. ❞

and with that, he allowed his eternal spirit to be passed on, to be given back to creation, and gave all of his power and essence to hiroe. she would become a god, and she would learn how to control what she was given, how to wield herself properly in order to fulfill the destiny that was set before her. he couldn’t watch over her, couldn’t guide her, but he passed on knowing he at least fulfilled his part in giving himself to her.

DEPENDING ON THE VERSE, CERTAIN EVENTS / NARRATIVES ARE SHIFTED ACCORDINGLY TO MEET WITH THAT UNIVERSE / CANON.

DRAGON BALL.

with gods of destruction existing, and with their angels and coordinating kai for each universe / plane, the one that hiroe challenged and beat at sixteen was her universe’s god of destruction.

to fold into canon events pre and post “super”, hiroe existed in a “parallel” universe and timeline that prevented consequences leaking into the timeline / existence of canon.

after hiroe defeated her universe’s god of destruction  (or rather, her god of destruction decided to take her up as it’s heir and predecessor),  his angel had taken liberty to send her elsewhere per his god’s request, thus sending her through time and space to land in universe seven at sixteen. when she lands, it is roughly year 755/56 on earth. in that universe, she was the one that had died instead of her sister of illness, and her sister was orphaned without their aunt to take care of them. hiroe, not having thought much of the consequences  (and there luckily not being any damaging consequences),  sought out her sister and returned to the life she’d fought to keep.

JUJUTSU KAISEN

arguably, as of yet, there aren’t any existing “gods” but plenty of godlike curses. for this, she doesn’t fight a god but rather a supremely high-grade curse. rather than exorcising / killing the curse, hiroe ended up absorbing it, which would become her cursed technique  (being able to absorb / “eat” the cursed energy existing in people + curses to fuel her strength / cursed energy & techniques).
