he  had  spotted  her  from  a  mile  away  standing  with  his  back  to  him.   hiding  under  a  bucket  hat  and  a  face  mask  he  started  to  slightly  run  towards  her  before  noticing  a  few  heads  turning  his  way,   attracting  a  little  too  much  attention  to  himself  than  wanted.

‘   found  you.   ‘   he  spoke  softly  over  her  shoulder  as  he  reached  her,  wrapping  his  arms  around  her.   giving  her  a  tight  hug  from  the  back  he  took  in  all  the  things  he’d  miseed  over  the  past  month;  her  scented  shampoo,  the  feel  of  her  close  to  him  and  just  her.   /   @goddessfraud​.

she  couldn’t  lie ;  a  part  of  her  hated  that  he’d  been so  busy .  she  missed  her  boyfriend ,  and  hated  that  they  couldn’t  see  each  other  as  easily  as  before .  but  even  more ,  she  was  proud  of  him ;  proud  of  him  for  following  his  dreams ,  despite  the  setbacks .

she  nearly  jumped  at  the  voice ,  followed  by  strong ,  familiar  arms  wrapping  around  her .  she  couldn’t  help  but  smile  as  she  relaxed  again .  after  a  moment ,  she  wiggled  and  turned  around ,  arms  wrapping  around  his  waist  as  she  looked  up  at  him .  there  he  was .  her  seojun .     “ i  missed  you , ”      she  said  with  a  smile ,  before  burying  her  face  in  his  chest  as  she  gave  him  a  squeeze .

the  time  from  their  dorms  to  the  place  they  would  spend  the  next  few  hours  had  been  hectic.   which  was  why  it  took  him  a  good  second  before  he  finally  realized,   who  he  was  looking  at.   his  mouth  opened  as  a  reflex  to  his  name  being  said,   but  nothing  came  out.   it  didn’t  take  long  before  people  began  to  fill  the  room,   his  own  band  members  in  between  and  people  began  to  greet  each  other.   it  felt  as  if  he  finally  blinked  after  what  seemed  forever  when  someone  he  assumed  to  be  head  of  make  up,   introduced  jygyeong  to  him,   totally  oblivious  to  the  fact  that  they  already  knew  each  other  VERY  WELL.

however  it  still  felt  as  if  the  world  was  standing  still  until  someone  guided  him  towards  the  chairs.   ‘   what  are  you  doing  here?   ‘   was  all  he  managed  to  get  out,  asking  the  quite  obvious.   he  knew  they  couldn’t  avoid  each  other  forever  and  would  most  likely  meet  again  at  some  point.  he  just  hadn’t  imagined  it  would  be  like  this.   and  then  at  the  start  of  their  tour.

she  wasn’t  sure  how  long  they  stood  there ,  both  of  them  just   STARING   at  the  other .  how  long  had  it  been  since  they’d  seen  each  other ?  all  she  could  think  about  was  their  conversation  in  the  park  when  she  broke  up  with  him ,  seojun’s  head  in  her  lap  as  he   CRIED .  she  let  her  coworker  nudge  her  forward ,  snapping  her  from  her  thoughts  as  she  gave  a  polite  bow ;  at  least  bowing  helped  her  avoid  maintaining  eye  contact  with  him .  

she  followed  seojun  and  her  coworker  to  the  makeup  chair ,  only  looking  up  to  meet  his  gaze  in  the  mirror  when  he  spoke  to  her .  she  couldn’t  decide  whether  hearing  his  voice  made  her  want  to   SMILE   or   CRY .    “ i’m  working , ”     she  said  simply ,  moving  her  gaze  to  the  makeup  on  the  counter  as  she  thought  about  what  she  was  going  to  do            both  for  seojun’s  makeup ,  as  well  as  the  entire  situation .    “ i  didn’t  know  that  i’d  be  working  with  you ,  i  promise . ”

         it  was   NOT   how  she  had  expected  her  first  official  day  as  a  makeup  artist  to  go .  the  company  she  worked  for  gave  her  a  time  and  place  to  be ,  but  neglected  to  give  her  any  information  as  to  who  she  was  working  with ,  other  than  the  fact  that  she  would  be  doing  stage  makeup  for  an  idol .  determined  not  to  let  her  frustration  get  to  her ,  she  arrived  at  the  venue  with  time  to  spare ,  politely  greeting  the  event  staff  and  letting  them  guide  her  to  the  dressing  room ,  where  she  began  to  set  up .  

        the  sound  of  the  door  opening  caught  her  attention ,  and  she  turned  to  greet  the  artist .    “ hello , i’m          ”     the  words  caught  in  the  throat ,  eyes  completely  focused  on  the  man  in  the  doorway .  no .  no  way .      “ seojun ? ”
