You and you lieutenant, Ghost had been dating long enough to finally share some sort of intimacy. It was the first time in the relationship that the two of you had been intimate. He was rough when you asked him to be and careful when you needed him to be, a perfect contrast of how it should be.

When you two finished doing sharing your moments, your legs were still shaking and you were still trying to catch your breath. For his part, Ghost, stood up almost immediately. You didn't even wonder where he was going, you deduced that he was just going to play video games, like your other ex-boyfriends. You didn't hesitate either, since he was always cold enough, despite being softer with you.

But to your surprise, he returned quickly holding a glass of water and one of his hoodies. His hands were full, poor soul.

"What's this for?" You asked, confused.

"You, obviously. Aftercare?" He responded with that typical icy expression, but soft for you. As if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

“oh.” You clicked on, understanding. However, you couldn’t lie saying you weren’t a little shook that it was even an optional.

“Don’t say you’ve never experienced it.” He said, dressing his arms against his chest after you took the items. A concerned expression filling his face.

“Well—“ you answered, not knowing what to say. Yeah I mean, it’s meant to be a normal thing but she just wasn’t lucky to experience it. Your reaction was all he needed to know.

He put his hand over his face in frustration, composing his anger that he feels against your old partners, how fucking selfish of them.

“Yu’ hungry?” He asked, taking his hand away.

“Hm, yes.. a little.” You answered, your stomach made a noise, defeating the purpose of your ‘littleness’ of hunger.

You both let out a laugh in response, it wasn’t even awkward. You felt a true connection between the two of you. He quickly headed out of the room as you sat there waiting for what surprise snack he’d make you. It made you even hungrier.

After a few minutes, ghost came back with a bowl full of fruit drizzled with chocolate. There was nothing wrong with a little sweet treat. It had raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and bananas, your favourites. To which he made sure to stock up in his fridge since you were always staying over, snacking.

He rested it on your lap. You smiled in awe whilst admiring the creation he made, “thank you baby.”

He planted a kiss amongst your forehead in response, “course’ doll.”
