Olympus and the Final Stand
After the Fates teleported me and Evenki to the entrance of Olympus we did our best to run or in my case hobble down the streets looking for anything that could be a metal box or what Evenki said might be an elevator.
Théoden: "So, you were a guy huh... that's interesting. Do all males dress as you do?" I try my best to make conversation, anything would do so I wouldn't have to focus on all the blood leaving my body.
Evenki: "What do you mean, with an impeccable fashion sense? No never."
The Furies swords did a number on me and my healing has been slowed drastically due to whatever weird shit they put on their swords... I think Evenki is rubbing off on me some how.
After a few twists and turns we manage to get to the center of Olympus. Strangely enough none of the lesser gods or deities have tried to stop us. I'm not sure if that's because I'm leaking life blood or because Father sent word ahead of time.
Théoden: "We need to hurry, whoever my father sends after us is sure to kick our ass and I'm in no shape to fight anyone else."
Evenki: "Okay well lets go then."
With that we pick up our pace and head towards what looks like a giant stick in the sky. I can only hope that is the so called elevator Evenki mentioned.
After another good 5 minutes of walking we reach a pair of Golden metal doors. It had an arrow above it pointed down and a white button with the same arrow.
Evenki: "That's it!" Evenki yelled jogging over to the doors. "Lets go!"
We quickly rush to get to the gates but before we can reach them two green vines wrapped around our legs and drags us away from the elevator doors. When were far enough away they release us and I get a look at how grabbed us.
Théoden: "Mom!!" I yell in surprise.
While I expected Father to send someone powerful, I never expected him to send Mother. And boy did she look pissed.
Persephone: "Where do you think you're going young man. Do you have any idea how furious your father is?" Her cool tone easily suppresses the anger I know she's feeling.
Théoden: "Mom please, listen. I just wanted to send him home. Nothing else, I knew father would want to kill him or keep as a slave, but I just couldn't let him do that!" I tried to get my words out as fast as I could, just hoping she would understand.
Persephone: Mother lets out a long sigh, "You are aware of his rules Theo, even I dare not to go against them. Now if you come home without a fuss and apologize I'm sure Hades will forgive you for this little out burst."
Mothers going the deal maker rout, but I know that she wont just let Evenki go.
Théoden: "What about Evenki, will he let him go home." I ask with an accusing tone.
Persephone: She gives me a look, "You know he wont do that, he will be sent to work in the Fields, but if he is that important to you maybe in a few hundred years Father will let him live as your servant."
Théoden: "NO! I want him sent home, please mother. I will take any punishment. Just let me send him back to where he belongs!" I say with desperation evident in my voice.
But that didn't seem to convince Mother. In fact it seemed to anger her further.
Persephone: "WHY ARE BEING SO STUBORN!? HE IS JUST A HUMAN, WHY ARE YOU TRYING SO HARD? WHAT MAKES HIM IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO DISOBEY YOUR FAMILY?
I look at Evenki, his face is pale and his eyes are filled with fear. I thought about all the time we spent together, the weird jokes he made, his joyful smile full of life and excitement, despite being in danger.
Persephone: "Its either us, or him Théoden."
It only took seconds for me to decide.

After the terrifying experience in my father’s study me and Evenki headed to my personal chambers to plan our next steps. Luckily, I remembered to take the secret rout to my room so that none of the servants spotted Evenki.
Théoden: Closing my bedroom door I sighed in relief, “Don’t worry about being found here, my presence is potent enough to mask your signature.”
Evenki: "My question is more of what ill find down there.." I see an visible smirk form on her lips.
Theodin: "Under my bed..?" I ask, i still dont know what she meant by that to this day.
Evenki: "Ah... no.."
I sat on the edge of my bed and rested my head in my hands. We weren’t able to find anything. Not with the short amount of time we were in there. I let out a loud groan,
Théoden: “I hate to say it but there is only one way that I can think of that will get us information on how to get you home.”
Evenki: “How’s that?”
Théoden: “I going to have to summon The Fates. They’re the only ones who would be willing to tell me anything and are the only ones even remotely reliable enough not to tell my Father about it.” I let out another deep sigh,
Théoden: “There are few small issues with this, though. The Fates are fickle beings, they might not even answer my summons, or if they do, they may or may not ask for your soul in return.”
Evenki: "You say that in assumption that i even have a soul." she snickers softly.
I roll my eyes in response.
Théoden: “Then there’s the fact that your mortal and any being in the Underworld would smell your soul for miles away. And on top of that the biggest challenge we face is getting pass the Furies’. They reside in the Fields of Punishment, which is where we need to go and if they get one look at you, your dead. They won’t ask any questions, as soon as they recognize you as mortal; as my mother would say ‘Your ass is grass’.”
Evenki: "That's such a dad thing to say." she mumbles under his breath, "So how exactly do you plan to keep my.. scent or whatever from existing."
I walk over to my desk and pull out one of my spare necklaces.
Théoden: “Here, take this. It’s one of my death charms, it should have enough power in it to make you look like a lesser deity.”
Théoden: “It will be enough to let you walk around the realm without being recognized. I should also get you a change of clothes.”
Evenki: "Well if im changing you cant be in here."
After Evenki got changed, I beckoned him to follow me through the palace. Unfortunately, we don’t have time for a tour, and I rush us to the stables.
Théoden: “The way to The Fields of Punishment is too far for any mortal to walk. So, we will take some steeds.”
And by steeds, I mean 12 large, black, flaming horses that pull the chariots of my father, mother and myself. They are truly magnificent creature even by godly standards. I glance over to Evenki to get her reaction, and I’m not disappointed. Her mouth is agape and she seemed to be in awe.
Théoden: “All right, let’s get moving.” I say in what Evenki described as 'Terminator esque'.
The ride to the Fields of Punishment went by uneventful, thank the gods. We did get stopped by a few patrolmen and deities who wanted to offer me their best wishes. Thankfully, my necklace did what I intended it to do and Evenki was not recognized.
Théoden: “Alright, are you ready? We must make it to the upper section of Punishment. The Fates like it in there because of the humidity, they say it's good for their arthritis. Unfortunately for us its where some of the worst people to have lived reside.
Evenki: She bites her lip softly, "Thats rough buddy"
Théoden: “It’s also about and hours walk. I have to warn you now that what you might see could potentially mentally scar you forever and temperatures are hotter than the surface of Apollos ass.”
Evenki: "I dunno my uncle seems to have done that job quite nicely.
Théoden: “Don’t worry I’m sure my necklace will make it feel like a cool night’s breeze.”
Evenki: "Well lets just hope the girls don't get perkyyy" she says as she exaggerates the t's and stretches out the word perky.
Théoden: “Alright let us get going. We will have to take it slow because I’m not sure where the Furies like to patrol.”
To say I’m nervous is an understatement. In fact, I am terrified, the Fates already give me the chills, but the Furies are downright terrifying. While they have always been... pleasant if you can call it that to me, I have witnessed their wrath and it is not fun. If they get one good look at Evenki, they will kill him and drag me back to my father. And while the premised of getting a beating from my father is scary enough, the thought of Evenki’s pretty face being covered in blood and watching the life drain from her eye is something that causes a pain in my chest and unknown feelings to surface.
I try to navigate us through the tamer sections of the Fields of Punishment, but the cries and screams of agony are still load in my ears. While I am used to this, I’m sure Evenki isn’t doing to well.
Théoden: “Hey, how are you holding up?”
[ER]
Théoden: I motion for Evenki to move closer, “Here stay close to me, if you see something that’s to much just close your eyes and lean into me”. I tug her closer and grip her hand.
Not even 30 minutes go by before I hear the familiar cry of a Fury.
Théoden: “Quickly, behind that stone!”
I pull Evenki towards a large piece of molten rock and crouch behind it.
Théoden: “Stay quiet”, I whisper.
A few tense minutes go by. I can hear the flapping of wings and the shrieking cries of the Furies. After another few minutes of silence, I take a step out from behind the rock.
Théoden: “Okay, I think they’re gone”. At that moment I felt a crashing weight hit me with enough force to send me flying into the side of a mountain. Pain exploded from my back and legs.
The thing I dreaded most rings out over the moaning of tortured souls.
Furies: “MORTAL!!!”
That has me pulling my body out of the rubble quicker then I have never moved before. I get to Evenki just in time of block a blow heading straight for her head.
Fury: The Fury growls at me, “Mortals are not supposed to be here, why are you protect one?”
Théoden: “I have my reasons, let us go!” I manage to block another sword attack heading aimed at Evenki’s side.
No other words are spoken as I try and block each blow aimed to kill Evenki. After a few minutes I can feel my body slow down, more and more hits land on me. I’m starting to lose blood. I have to use my last resort, dodging the next swipe of the Furies swords I manage to get in close and grab a hold of the furies face. Forcing her to look me in the eyes I activate one of my powers I hate.
The Fury screams and screams and screams. Like nothing I’ve ever heard before. After another moment she collapse to the ground.
I can barely look at her.
Théoden: “Quickly, we don’t have much time before she wakes up”. I grab Evenki and lift her into my arms.
Théoden: “It will be quicker this way.” I start to sprint the last few miles to the Fates favorite resting spot.
Wordlessly I set Evenki down and start writing ancient Greek symbols into the ground, I use my own blood for added dramatics.
Théoden: “Hear my call O wise ones, for I have need of your wisdom. Please, head my summons and answer my call!”
Silence follows my chant. And not so long after that the ground begins to shake. Three old women stood before us.
The Fates: “Well look at what we have here. Two young boys on their knees for us.” They crown in unison.
Evenki decides right now is the perfect time to crack jokes,
Evenki: "Actually if i wanted to be on my knees for anybody it wouldn't be for you."
Boys? Plural? I look at Evenki, if I wasn’t so tired, I would be shocked but instead I turn back to the Fates.
Théoden: “Please Wises ones, I need to get this mortal back to the human realm, would you please tell me how I can send her… I mean him, back home.” I closed my eyes.
The Fates: “Hmm, yes we knew this time would come. They only way for you to get the human boy back to the mortal realm is to escort him through Olympus and send him down the cage of metal.”
The Fates: “As you are not old enough to command Chiron sending him back through the Underworld would be impossible.” As they spoke each passed back an eye from one sister to the next.
Théoden: “What is it that you require of me? What do you want in return for this information?” I asked, hoping they weren’t feeling frisky today.
With that question the earth began to tremble, and a load roar could be heard from miles away.
Théoden: “Shit, that’s my father!” I yelled in alarm.
The Furies must have informed him of the fight I had with one of them
Fates: The Fates cackled, “We require nothing dearie, all we want is to annoy your father”. The laughed again and with a snap of their fingers me and Evenki disappeared with a pop.
Evenki: "Jeeze, old bags of shit--" I hear Evenki mutter under his breath.

Introductions
???: “What… where the hell am I?” The small mortal looked around confusedly, her long pink hair falling over her eyes.
???: “Who are you, what is this place?!” The panic in her eyes starts to increase as she gets her bearings.
Théoden: “Please calm down, you're safe. Let me explain where you are.” I try to keep my voice low and as calm as possible. I can’t have her getting spooked and run off.
I can see her tense up like she wants to run. Hopefully mother was lying when she said the females of the human realm were overdramatic.
Théoden: “I wouldn’t try running away if I were you. This place is dangerous to mortals, if you want to stay alive keep yourself seated and I will tell you where you are.”
The panic look doesn’t leave but she doesn’t try to make a break for the door either.
???: “Are you trying to threaten me… are you going to hurt me?!” Her eyes widen as she speaks frantically.
Théoden: “No! I won’t do that, I’m the one who brought you to safety so that the beings of my fathers’ realm wouldn’t harm you.” I do my best to keep my voice reassuring.
Théoden: “Let me introduce myself, I am Théoden son of Hades.” My chest puffs out in pride.
I might not like the idea of inheriting the Underworld, but I still take pride in being the son of such a powerful God.
Evenki: "Alright prince what's-his-fuck great to know who you are but this doesn't explain where I am."
I groan in mild irritation, maybe not overdramatic but she is full of sarcastic comments.
Théoden: “You're in my father’s realm, the Underworld. You would know it as hell.”
Evenk: She audibly snorts and rolls her eyes, "Ahh yes and I'm 21 and still full of life." She glares a bit.
The doubt in her eyes was obvious, but I can't just walk her around Asphodel and point at all the dead people. After all this wasn't a tour of Disneyland, this was life or death. Showing her Cerberus would but he would probably eat her and using some of my more… intense Godly powers wouldn’t help either.
Théoden: “All right I’ll prove it.” I stood up and headed to the front of the room. Waving my hand, “Follow me.”
I took us both outside and dug through my pockets. Pulling out a bone (don’t ask what kind) I crouch and dug a small hole using my finger. Placing the bone in the hole and covering it I took a few steps back.
Théoden: “Don’t be alarmed, you wont be in any danger.”
Evenki: "You saying that is only making me feel more like you're going to murder me American Psycho style." She puts her hands on her hips. Im not sure what American Psycho is but I decided to just go with it.
I huff, take a deep breath and closed my eyes, focusing my energy into the ground, calling to my powers I shouted,
Théoden: “I SOMMON THEE TO MY SIDE, OPBEY YOUR MASTER AND HEED MY CALL! COME TO ME ΣΚΕΛΕΤΟΣ!”
With that the ground began to shake and two boney arms shot out of the ground. The mortal next to me jumped with a small shriek.
Théoden: “Try not to be too panicked, it is merely a skeleton servant I have summoned, it will not attack until my command.”
Evenki: "YOURE TELLING ME TO NOT PANIC WHEN YOU JUST SUMMONED FRICKING SKELETOR FROM THE GROUND???!" Her eyes were widened in shock but they seemed intrigued at the same time.
That didn’t seem to calm her nerves, but she didn’t scream so ill call that a win. The rest of the skeleton pulled itself out of the ground and looked at me, waiting for instructions. Now that my demonstration is over, I waved my hand and dismissed the skeleton and motioned to the woman to head back inside.
Théoden: “Well I hope that was enough proof because we have a lot more to cover.”
Evenki: "This is all definitely because I downed one too many drinks at a school party and took a dump on someone's desk isn't it.." I could hear her mumble as she follows me inside, "Well... woe is me I guess.."
With that we both go inside and discuss what to do next. I explain to Evenki, who finally told me her name, that I wasn’t sure how she got to the immortal realm or even how to get back. I explained that I wasn’t privy to that information because my father deemed it unnecessary to know as no humans would ever come here and if they did wouldn’t need to return. I had to emphasis that being caught would in the Underworld is very dangerous to mortals because my father would never willingly let them leave. The only solution I came up with was to sneak into my father’s study and try and see if there was any way to get her back there.

Théoden: “This is bad! Very bad!”
Théoden: “A mortal cant be here, why is they here!?”
Panic consumes my thoughts as I sprint to my hiding place, the small human hanging limp in my arms. Just a bit further!
Unfortunately for me Tyche did not seem to like me today, one of my father’s patrol men took that moment to appear outside the Fields of Asphodel. I slowed down and stopped a bit away for the entrance to the field.
Théoden: “Shit”, I mutter under my breath. What am I suppose to do, one look and the guard would tell it's human.
…There is something I could try, but there is no guarantee it would work. With that thought, the guard notices mean and started heading in my direction. Quickly I lean over and place my lips on the human’s forehead. Focusing my energy, I infuse some of my aura into the small bodied mortal.
If this works, I should be able to mask their mortal soul with mine.
Guard: “Théoden, what brings you to the Fields of Asphodel?”
Théoden: “I decided to take a break from my studies and stroll through the Fields?” I grip the them tighter, trying to make them as small as possible. This being tangled with the intense voice cracks due to my small amount of nervousness.
Guard: “I see, well then you might want to hurry for fear of Her Highnesses wrath”. The guard then looks at my arms.
Guard: “And what have you got here?” The guard tilts his head, “A lost soul perhaps?”
Théoden: “Ahh... yes, a lost soul. I saw them wandering the paths near the Entrance, I must have frightened them because they just collapsed.” For the love of Zeus please just let me go so I can get this degenerate to a safe place.
Guard: “Well if that’s the case then let me escort him back to Asphodel, no need to concern yourself with such a mundane task.”
He reaches for the mortal, I hastily take a step back.
Théoden: “It’s no trouble I’m bored anyways; keep to your route I will handle it.”
I try to emphasis my point by using the “Godly tone” my Father makes me use when addressing the lesser beings.
It looks like it worked, the guard nods and makes his way back to the entrance of the Field. I walk through the field in a leisurely manner, sprinting now would draw to much attention. Thank god the guards are just a bit more thick headed than what I give them credit for. Usually I would need to report this to Father but I'll let it slide this once.
I get to my base right as the human starts to rouse. I set him gently on the bed of furs covering the corner of the small room.
???: Where in the Hell am I?

Mortal?
Boring... Uneventful...Stagnant.
That’s how I would describe what my life, or well immortality, is at the moment. I am Théoden, the son of Hades and Persephone, brother to Melinoe and Zagreus. I'm am the Eldest son and full biological heir to the Underworld. Fathers been a bit testy ever since he found out Zeus pretended to be him and had Melinoe And Zagreus with Mother. For the last 200 hundred years or so Father has been cramming everything he possibly could about managing the souls of the Underworld.
Its his belief is that because I’m his only biological son[ All though that's not entirely important, its just the fact that I'm not Zeus's son] that I'm the one to start taking over sections of the Underworld. Its not just studies he has me laboring at but combat training as well. Pretty harsh if you ask me.
I am the God of Torturous Death, which by the way is different from the Goddess of Torture. The difference between us is not relevant at this time so I will save that explanation for later. My father has been training me to rule over The Land of Punishment in the near future and believes that one day I will be powerful enough to oversee Tartarus.
I should be honored to be given such responsibility, or even just the regard from father in the first place. But something doesn't sit right with me, I almost feel as if there is something more I could be doing.. Even if there was, my destiny has already been decided and it is my duty to follow my fathers wishes. Why would i want to be the ruler of the underworld though..? Just so when Zeus asks me what's going on and how things are i can reply nonchalantly, “Oh yunno a little dark a little gloomy,” every year? No thanks.
That may be what destiny has planned but I can still take some time off! Like, damn! A day to relax doesn't hurt. Which is why I decided to skip my morning lessons with mother to walk about the realm. I know mother will be upset that I skipped out on 1,000 different torture methods but I've already memorized the book so it would pointless of me to go over it again. By the way , definitely worth the read, i would recommend.
I decided to pay a visit to Cerberus, or Bruce for short. The entrance to Hade’s domain is one of the more tame parts of the Underworld and one of the few places I actually enjoy going to. ..The stench of death was lessoned here...
The smell of something sweet pulls my attention away from how I was going to avoid a lecture from my mother. Looking down the path I notice a figure lying in the road. The closer I got the heavier the scent became, then I realized it was a mortal! Hera all mighty they’re uglier than what mother described. At first glance that is.. but one look and this mortal somehow put Aphrodite’s looks to shame.
In a moment of panic I grabbed the small mortal and ran towards one of my many hiding places, hoping that no one saw us.
….It would be the death of us both if we were....

The Beginning
Hello and Welcome,
My name is Théoden and I am a God, the God of Tortuous Death to be precise. I have come to this place of story telling to recall an adventure I had not to long ago. This place called the.. internet, has piqued my interest. My partner having showed me some.. strange websites. Which seems like a understatement.
I am reciting my tales to you because a dear companion of mine advised that it might be best to express my thoughts by sharing them to you, so that I may organize my emotions and think through them clearly. My better half having explained that i have a hard time expressing “feelings”.
So, to whomever might be reading.... please follow along as I tell you about some recent events that have changed the course of my life forever..
Whether these have been good or bad changes it still to be decided.
