Embracing God's Preeminence in Every Facet of Life
In the foundational days of Anointed Connect Church, a visionary online community aimed at fostering faith and empowerment globally, I, Jermaine Whiteside, was tasked with steering our mission with zeal and commitment. Our purpose was clear, yet the demands of administrative responsibilities and worldly distractions often obscured the journey. Within the crucible of a pivotal meeting, an elder, a beacon of faith shaped by years of divine wisdom, proposed a sacred practice: to commit ourselves to daily group prayer before any undertaking.
This proposal, steeped in spiritual depth, was met with mixed responses. Amidst our tasks' immediacy, I inadvertently sidelined this call to spiritual depth. This misstep would soon be illuminated by God's teaching hand.
As dawn unfurled its light the morning after our assembly, I was confronted with a divine revelation. Through His infinite grace and wisdom, the Lord revealed my oversight. This wasn't conveyed through words but through a profound lesson in divine will: an unexpected impediment to one of my recent achievements. This humbling experience laid bare my vulnerabilities.
At this juncture of loss, an eternal verity emerged, resounding with the scriptural wisdom of ages. The Lord gently reminded me of Matthew 6:33, urging, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This moment served as a divine prompt, highlighting that this world's pursuits and accolades are fleeting shadows without His blessing.
This experience was a divine call to recenter our faith. The elder's advice transcended mere suggestion, emerging as a crucial key to unlocking the abundance of God's blessings. It was a divine mandate to elevate God above all our plans and dreams, as Proverbs 3:6 guides, "In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regardless of how busy, driven, hard-working, or hard-studying, no one is so successful to be exempt from this clarification. Seek His presence in every part of your life! This is our priority. Your three top daily priorities should consist of spending time with the Lord. Every success in your life and ministry will spring from the sanctuary of God's presence. James 4:8 says, "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you."
As I share this journey, I earnestly hope it serves as a guiding light for us all. Let us not linger for a divine sign to grasp the importance of positioning God at the forefront of our lives and ministries. Let us wholeheartedly embrace the discipline of seeking His will daily, ensuring that prayer transcends being a mere item on our agenda to become the foundation upon which all decisions stand.
To close, I would like to dedicate this narrative and our journey forward to our Powerful God. As I constantly seek Him, I am aware of Psalm 37:5 — "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act." May this narrative inspire us to re-prioritize, recognizing the value of our relationship with the Creator and that in His presence is where we find clarity, peace, and direction. Let us commit to putting Him first. That done, the door to the life of purpose and fulfillment that He has ordained for us is unlocked. Amen!
Amen.

Title: "Finding Strength and Hope in the Midst of the Battle: A Biblical Perspective on Overcoming Cancer"
Introduction:
Dear brothers and sisters, today's sermon is centered on a topic that touches the lives of many in our congregation and beyond - the battle against cancer. As we delve into God's Word, may His comforting presence and promises bring hope, strength, and faith to those facing this challenging journey.
1. Acknowledging the Reality of the Battle:
a. Psalm 38:10 reminds us, "My heart throbs; my strength fails me, and the light of my eyes—it also has gone from me."
b. Cancer can be a formidable opponent, causing physical and emotional pain. As we acknowledge the reality of the battle, we find solace in knowing that we serve a God who sees our afflictions and hears our prayers.
2. The Source of Our Strength:
a. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
b. In the midst of our struggles, God promises to be our strength. He will uphold us with His mighty hand, and we can find courage knowing that He is walking with us every step of the way.
3. Embracing God's Healing Power:
a. Psalm 103:2-3 proclaims, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases."
b. We serve a God who is not only able but willing to heal us. Let us approach His throne of grace with confidence, seeking His healing touch and believing in His divine power to restore.
4. Trusting in His Perfect Plan:
a. Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
b. As we face uncertainties in battling cancer, we must remember to trust in God's perfect plan. Even in the midst of trials, His ways are higher, and His purposes are for our good.
5. Finding Hope in Christ:
a. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 assures us, "So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal."
b. Our hope lies not in the temporary challenges we face but in the eternal promise of glory that awaits us in Christ. Let this hope be our anchor as we navigate the battles of life.
Conclusion:
Dear friends, as we face the battle against cancer, let us find strength, hope, and encouragement in God's Word. He is our ever-present help in times of trouble, and His promises are true and steadfast. May we draw near to Him in prayer, seeking His healing touch, and trusting in His perfect plan for our lives.
Let us remember that we do not battle alone. We are surrounded by a community of faith, supporting and praying for one another. Together, we can lift each other up in love and walk hand in hand, finding victory in Christ.
May the Lord bless and keep us as we face the challenges before us, and may His grace and peace be upon us all. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Title: "Breaking Down the Tower of Division: Embracing God's Unified Message"
Introduction:
Dear brothers and sisters, today, we gather to reflect on the timeless biblical story of the Tower of Babel and explore how it relates to the racial and tribal divides that persist in our world today. The narrative in Genesis 11 teaches us valuable lessons about the consequences of human pride and division, while offering profound insights into the importance of embracing God's unified message as a united body of believers.
1. The Tower of Babel - Genesis 11:1-9
a. In the days of old, humanity came together with a shared language and ambitious hearts to build a tower reaching the heavens. Their unity, however, was not centered on God's will but driven by self-centered desires for greatness.
b. God saw their arrogance and confusion, and in His wisdom, He intervened by confounding their language and scattering them across the earth. This division disrupted their collective plans and highlighted the consequences of trying to build without God as the foundation.
2. Division in the Modern World:
a. Sadly, the consequences of division continue to be felt in our world today. Racial and tribal divides persist, hindering our ability to receive and embrace God's message of love, redemption, and unity.
b. In our attempts to build our own towers of power and control, we have allowed pride, fear, and prejudice to create walls that separate us from one another. Such divisions not only fracture society but also hinder our ability to fully comprehend and receive God's truth.
3. Embracing God's Unified Message:
a. Galatians 3:28 reminds us, "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
b. As followers of Christ, we are called to tear down the walls of division and embrace God's unified message. It is through Christ's sacrifice and love that we can find true unity and understanding, transcending all cultural, racial, and tribal barriers.
4. Reflecting God's Image in Unity:
a. In John 13:35, Jesus declares, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another."
b. Our unity as the body of Christ reflects God's image and testifies to the transformative power of His love. When we come together, regardless of our backgrounds, we display the beauty of God's diverse creation, and His message of redemption becomes clear and compelling to the world.
Conclusion:
Dear friends, the story of the Tower of Babel reminds us of the consequences of human pride and division. Let us be vigilant and intentional in breaking down the barriers that separate us from one another, so that we may receive God's message with open hearts and united spirits.
As we strive for unity in the midst of diversity, may we be a living testament to God's transformative love and grace. Let us extend our hands to one another, embracing the beauty of our differences, and reflecting God's image in our unified love.
Together, as a united body of believers, we can overcome the Tower of Division and proclaim God's message of hope and reconciliation to a world in desperate need of His unifying grace.
Remember this sermon when you hear your fellow brothers and sister demonize the words diversity.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

What does the Bible say regarding God's Amazing love? God's love takes many structures all through the narratives of sacred writing. Portions of the Bible even allude to God as love itself. Love can be defined as wanting what is best for someone, which is exactly what God expects of us. God essentially loves you because He treasures you. You don't need to work for His kindness. You don't need to sort yourself out before God can pour His love over you.
God loves you. It's difficult to get our minds around, but it's true. This is where the faith journey begins: understanding that God loves you. If you don't have an affirmation of God's love, your faith journey won't go very far. Fortunately, reading the Bible can assist with fortifying your faith in God's love. No power is more impressive than our heavenly Father's love for us, His children. His love can move mountains, stop the thundering oceans, recuperate broken bones and injured hearts, change lives, and set free those held hostages by transgression and disgrace. So extraordinary is His love for you and me that He sent His main child to bite the dust so we could survive Him.

GOD IS LOVE
Whosoever will admit that Jesus is the Child of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. What's more, we have known and accepted the adoration that God hath for us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in affection dwelleth in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:15-16

GOD IS LOVE
GOD IS LOVE
Whosoever will admit that Jesus is the Child of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. What's more, we have known and accepted the adoration that God hath for us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in affection dwelleth in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:15-16[1]
God is love, He had intercourse, and He gives love. God loves you. God showed His amazing love among us: He sent His only Son into the world so we could endure him. This is love: not that we revered God, in any case, that He treasured us and sent his son as a contribution repayments compensation for our bad behaviors.
Dear brother and sister, since God so valued us, we similarly ought to love one another. No one has any time seen God; yet expecting we love one another, God lives in us and his reverence is made completed in us.
From the subsequent you were considered, God has been stopping, looking for you. He basically communicates, "Son of mine, get back home." Jesus encouraged us to call God 'our Father'. Likewise, we are son of God! Consequently, we hold the choice to push toward Him and talk with Him really, as we would with any father.
·         We can trust in God’s Love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8[2] gives several descriptions of love: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails."
At the core of these qualities is the unwavering and unfailing aspect of love. God has proven this nature about Himself to humanity throughout the ages. He has maintained a covenantal relationship with humanity since creation. Even in our sinfulness, God continued to maintain patience with us and show us mercy. When Adam and Eve sinned, before they had to leave the garden, God lovingly provided clothing to cover their nakedness. Even through the Israelites rebellions, God maintained His covenant relationships with them. After Jonah fled from the Lord, God delivered him from death through the big fish. By looking at the faithfulness of God’s love throughout history, we can trust that He will continue to act accordingly in our lives.
·         Our salvation is an expression of God’s love.
The greatest demonstration of God’s love was this gift of His Only Son. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life," John 3:16[3]A (NIV).
God did not send Christ as a reward to the obedient, but rather as a ransom for the defiant.  We see Jesus display his love throughout His life and ministry.  He healed the sick without requirement of gratitude.  He displayed humility even though He was King of Kings.  Even while on the cross, Jesus prayed for the forgiveness of the ones who placed Him there (John 3:16, 1 John 3:16, 4:10, Romans 5:8)[4]. Salvation is open to all who believe in Christ.  God’s love does not discriminate.
·         Our ability to love is enabled through God’s love.
Jesus set for us the example to love and gives us the command to follow in His example (John 13:34-35; 1 John 3:16-20)[5]. When Jesus washed His disciples’ feet, He took the role of a servant and placed the needs of others above His own dignity. He instructed His followers to do the same. He tells us to love our neighbors as well as our enemies. Yet, this task is not burdensome, for love is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22)[6].  When we rest and abide in God, love outpours onto others as a result (1 John 4:7). It is through our love that the world will know that we belong to Christ.
 LESSON DERIVED
The part trains us that Jesus showed his warmth for us through his setting things straight retribution, which engages us to transform into like our Father in Heaven.
Brother and Sister in the Lord, as you are going out today, you should in like manner mirror Christ and love your neighbor/co-workers as Christ loves you.
