Dos Rios

11/9 Well, today is my last day here on the mountain, and I couldn't have asked for a better time; awesome place, awesome people, awesome month. Thanks Suzi And Tallison

After a long scenic drive up the 20, we made it to the coast of Fort Bragg. Everyone got to relax and it was nice to swim in the Pacific Ocean again.

We even got a partial group photo!

From left to right:

Kevin aka "Chucky The Wonder" (mid 20's) from North Carolina. Experienced wwoofer; He's been on the road since 2007 and he's got some cool stories and knowledge.

Myself (early 20's) from Salinas, CA. First time wwoofer, just beginning to experience life, and I'm totally stoked to have found wwoofing and won't soon forget the memories. thanks guys

Bryon (mid 30's) from Minnesota, who is a pro video and picture editor aka he makes cool commercials. He's also a first time wwoofer who is recording and documenting everything, with ideas of, you guessed it; making a video.

Mike (late 20's) aka "The Mountain Man" is a professional pianist from Berkeley,CA. As you might have he's pretty awesome at piano. He plays on cruise ships for a living. First time wwoofer who's been here on the mountain of Dos Rios, CA for over six months now. He started all of the awesome bike trails out here with the neighbor Michael.

Georgy (early 20's): Born in Romania, travelled from Chicago,IL. she's the one behind the lens here, she's awesome.

It looks like I'll be finishing this gem of a raised bed tomorrow! It's been challenging, but fun.

All of the pieces of redwood I used on the project were personally milled by the neighor (Tom), so it was a team effort here. Big ol' 1/2 inch lag bolts hold this beauty together.
