Who's that shooting across the sky? His form flickers, it glows! He's waving at you, shouting out a friendly "Hello!" It's Shimmering Sonic!!

I like the idea that any combination of emeralds that doesn't amount to all seven gives Sonic differing types of power ups and abilities. He's got more boosted power than his base form, but not as much raw power as Super Sonic proper. Maybe his differing funky abilities can help make up for it.

I got about as far on this one as I had wanted to. I realized I'd have to do a couple perspective changes either with his head, or his shoes and I decided, "Nah, that's enough."

I decided to go with a taller version of her ultimately, but I still really like how I drew the shorter body I gave Rouge in that first sketch up there.

I unironically enjoy the digi-rap. Like, Space Jam and it are the same genre of song and get me hyped to watch their respective films. Like, "Everybody get up, it's time to slam now! We got a real jam going down. Welcome to the Space Jam! It's your chance, do your dance at the– digi-VOLUTION IS UP AND RUNNIN' DIDJA SEE, DIDJA HEAR, DIDJA KNOW IT WAS COMING?!"

I think OVA Knux has my fave iteration of his shoes.

My ideal want for a Sonic animated TV show is something with little goofy side adventures like painting his own house or finding machine parts with Tails to help fix his plane while also having stuff like Eggman destroying a mountainside in order to make Eggmanland or whatever. Like the feel of the OVA was so nice. The potential for quiet little stories along with the big ones. Maybe there's an overarching story, but the mundane stuff is fun, too. Does that make sense? Doesn't sound stupid, right?

I want to draw what I'm imagining out. It's frustrating when an idea feels too big for my current skill set..
