I'm not trying to shame people who don't read The Classics because god knows most of that stuff never saw an editor, but before you post/reblog quotes from the old book classics, framed as something the author personally said, you should be aware that the quote was probably said or thought by a character who wasn't supposed to be objectively correct. As a matter of fact a lot of those fictional little guys were written to be completely wrong on purpose.

Also it makes him and Megatron's enmity more tragic. They have been acknowledges as friends before, but in those they never really seemed that close? Granted I have not read Exodus, but even Prime didn't seem to show much warmth between them.

This version though, where the two act like legitimate buddies? Laughing and joking together? It would feel truly sad if they got to the point where Optimus declared "This universe, no matter how vast, will never be big enough for you and I to coexist!

I'm actually so happy about the return to working class labourer Orion Pax. The king has returned. Nature is healing.

I've seen people not liking that Orion and Megatron are on the same social level and saying that takes away from the social tension between them, but I really disagree with that. Cause i think them being on the same social level and having similar life experiences adds to the tension. That way, they can parallel and contrast each other. Their story becomes not about how they're different because they have both lived very different lives, but instead, how they have both reacted to their experiences and how that has changed them individually. And I think that that would really give their future arguments and disagreements more bite between each other.

Through hardship, D-16 has become a cold Megatron and Orion a warm Optimus. Megatron is the glass is half empty. Optimus is the glass is half full.

It is! He also made the biggest mistake one can make: Never follow AFO's example on anything. Ever.

I can't help but laugh at the possibility that Yoichi could've become a villain without realizing it. Imagine if they never found those comics and Yoichi just doesn't realize that some of the stuff he does is villainous because he only had his big brother as an example.
