Added smart room wrapping; if the player tries to go off-screen they will be wrapped around if the place they’re warping to is free, otherwise they’ll just hit an invisible wall. Going to add room transitions soon.

Finally got slopes and collision detection working well in a platform game project. Took me longer than I'd care to admit, but I did it.

Changed from rendering a bunch of sprites to drawing vertices to a buffer, which allows for terrain deformation to create slopes similar to the sprites previously used to represent slopes/inclines. Also got the player to move in four normal directions as well as diagonally aligned with the isometric grid.

Now I can rotate the board clockwise and counter-clockwise by 90 degrees.

I can now add blocks at different heights both separate and as a column. I can also add slopes.

Made a grid with floor blocks rendered in isometric perspective. I’m able to delete the different parts of the floor revealing the blocks that were obscured previously. Neat. Art is not mine.
