i don’t really get most sports but wrestling is fucking great. just a bunch of jacked theater kids beating the shit out of each other in cunty little outfits. i don’t care if it’s fake. all sports should be fake if this is what fake gets you

I went from “I don’t think Damian is going to retain at SummerSlam” to “I NEED Damian to DESTROY Gunther at SummerSlam” the second Gunther said “your parents didn’t care about you, my parents gave me everything”

Tonight's RAW MVP is clearly Damian Priest. Baby girl laughed, trolled, was deeply messy, started AND finished some shit (clean!)

But really, it's Triple H and the creative team. Because last week when they were running the Priest and Gunther video packages, I literally said, out loud, I love Damian, but I don't care about this match and I don't know how you're gonna make me care.

Then Trips said bet, hold my beer. He showcased Damian being funny, charming, trolling and handsome, and when we were all giggled up and high on El Campión, he let Gunther TEAR INTO HIM. Then, unlike my bae Drew who would have enacted violence immediately, Damian held back (mostly). They let it simmer. And in the space of 90 minutes, I went from utter ambivalence to ready to throw hands.

Hats off, good sirs.

Really curious- what’s everyone’s ideal resolution for the Rhea/Dom/Liv (and by extension, Judgement Day) angle?

I’m just sitting here thinking, i’m totally invested in this storyline, but honestly as long as I can keep watching Rhea Ripley wrestle, I’m gonna be happy. She’s incredible and I trust her with any storyline they throw her way. I just really missed watching her demolish people (even before she left and she didn’t have as many matches leading up to mania).

That being said, I have no idea how they’re gonna resolve this- seems crazy to have Judgement Day survive this mess and just go back to how things were before. Like that would make all the drama meaningless in a way and would cool a lot of the heat they’ve built in my mind. And if Rhea and Dom stay together, does that make Rhea look weak in any way? But if Dom betrays her for Liv, then Liv wins right (and it’s not that i don’t want Liv to win, it’s more that I don’t want Rhea to lose)? And then we’ve got the Finn/Priest tension that’s been building….

So how would you all have it play out?

Oh my god.

I’m watching matches from back when Rhea and Liv were tag partners and…the G. A. Y. GAAAAAY energy between them is just so palpable it’s delicious.

Now I need the Rhea/Dom/Liv story line to end with Rhea and Liv both dumping Dom for each other. I want these more fucked up versions of them to have to have to interact way more than just a match.

It’ll never happen, but I can dream.
