You don't understand. Bobby was supposed to move in to that new house with Athena. He was supposed to see May graduate. He was supposed to see Harry graduate. He was supposed to see Hen become captain. He was supposed to hold Baby Boy Han and congratulation Maddie and Chimney on having one of each now. He was supposed to officiate Buck's wedding. He was supposed to watch Ravi grow after deciding not to quit. He was supposed to grow old and reluctantly retire and end up doing something ridiculous like solving cold cases and spotting arsonists with (also reluctantly retired) Athena.
