Tom Riddle becomes a Minister for Magic on his way to achieve his goals and restore his full magical abilities after the defeat caused by an innocent baby. What he doesn't take into account in the net of his political intrigue is the new Head Auror, Harry Black, who turns his world upside down.

Why you should read it: This is such a cool political AU with Minister for Magic Tom Riddle, chock full of political intrigue and assassination attempts and not knowing who to trust or where anyone’s loyalties lie. I loved the Tom POV and seeing how Tom has adapted to losing his magic (instead of getting disembodied) the night that he went to kill Harry.

Harry thinks for the life of him, that his husband doesn't love him, that he only married him for his money and name. Or: The adventures of Amnesiac!Tom and an exasperated Harry as they try to navigate their marriage.

Why you should read it: A beautiful twist on established relationship Tomarry, in which Tom loses all his memories, and he and Harry have to navigate the path to falling in love all over again.

shakespeare villains are funny because there’s a sliding scale from them being understandable characters like claudius or macbeth who are very well-developed and it’s very clear what they’ve done and why and what the stakes are and there’s also kind of this internal moral struggle going on that makes them very believable. and then you have like. don john and richard iii cartoonishly rubbing their hands together and cackling like a looney tunes character as they decide to mess things up for no other reason than that they just announced they are the villain in their first speech, so what else are they going to do for the next 2.5 hours

need more Bailey content😭 I can only read this again and again to analyze him if he secretly have soft spot for PC... ( even though he didn't try to find PC at all when they are missing lol )

and there are other things I'm interested. - Bailey will slap to wake you up if you pass out in your room and tell you that there is a bed. ( did he always break into your room to check you?- ) - If it's a school day and you choose to sleep past 7:00 AM, Bailey will pound on the door to wake you up for school. - Bailey left a picture of PC missing person notice posted on the wall, whereas if it had been anyone else he would have torn it up. - On Avery's event, if Leighton won, Bailey will tell them to bring you back before midnight. If Quinn won, Bailey will warn you not to drink or eat anything that Quinn gave to you. If Avery won, Bailey will glare at how Avery wrap arm around you. - If you stress out while walking around in the town and pass out, Bailey will wait for you at the hospital and drive you back home. If this happened 2 or 3 times, Bailey will tell you that he won't take you home like this again. If this still happen, Bailey will still come to drive you home but not saying anything anymore LOL I will keep thinking that PC is Bailey's favourite little brat😔🖤

Delta Slim playing with Sammie and mentoring him by explaining the historical and spiritual significance of music to their community.

The way Smoke and Delta and all the others place their bodies in between Sammie and Remmick when the cards are laid before them, holding out an arm to stop Sammie from sacrificing himself; insisting that they’re going to die before they let Sammie leave through that door.

The protective and desperate way Smoke clutches onto Sammie in the final act; Remmick burning up in front of them and Smoke wrapped around Sammie to shield and comfort him and provide another barrier between them and the vampires just in case.

Stack showing up, telling Sammie he’s been following his career the whole of his life, collecting his albums because that’s his little cousin! He’s known him, they’ve known him, and isn’t it amazing to see how far he’s come?Supporting him from a distance, but supporting him nonetheless.

The option Sammie is given at the very end, and the way his choice is honored. Because as much as Stack (and Mary) love him, theirs is not a possessive love. It’s the selfless kind, that they will not try to hold onto Sammie past his time, but instead make sure he knows how important and loved he has been in life.

how on earth does the instagram algorithm gods work, i started an art account around a week ago right and i’ve been posting everyday, i’ve been making funny reels as god intended (as funny as i possibly be) and i have not gotten a SINGLE like from someone who are not my friends who follow me. Im not expecting much as i literally just made the account not too long ago and yk, im drawing gay fanart for myself not for clout, but… come on not even one single like? I dont think my art is THAt bad, i post my art here as well and yk it’s decent enough, i also had an art account years ago when i just started drawing and even that got a couple followers, so algorithm lord pls tell me how tf does this shit work

又一個時代——「港書館」HK BookShare 在英國

這幾年，隨着香港社會局勢的變動，越來越多港人選擇離開熟悉的家園，移居海外。他們當中不少人帶着複雜的心情離開，一方面是對過去的依依不捨，一方面也是對未來生活的謹慎探索。英國作為主要的落腳地之一，因其在簽證政策上的開放與包容，吸引了不少香港家庭前來定居。在這個陌生卻又充滿可能性的國度，許多人開始了人生的新一章。

日子一天天過去，身邊說粵語的聲音也愈來愈常聽見。不論是在超市、學校門口，還是在公園的長椅上，總會遇見幾張熟悉的面孔，或聽見幾句熟悉的語調。在某些城市，甚至開始出現明顯的港人生活圈。這些社群不是刻意劃分出來的，而是在生活中自然形成的連結。比如，港式茶餐廳在某條街口開了張，沒多久就成了大家��耳相傳的「打卡」熱點；開車送貨的，說的是半鹹淡的中英夾雜；理髮店裏掛著的價格表，寫著繁體字，也聽得懂你說「推薄啲」；連搬家公司也會在廣告上註明「港人自營、熟悉英國地區」。

這些看似瑣碎的生活細節，實則是一種文化的延續與重組。離開故土的人，總是會想辦法把一些熟悉的東西帶在身邊。也許是一杯絲襪奶茶，也許是一種服務的方式，也許只是說話的語氣。這些點點滴滴，構成了diasporic community 在他鄉所編織出來的新生活紋理。

不過，除了吃喝拉撒和衣食住行，更深層的，還有一種文化記憶的維繫與知識的延續。粵語怎麼在下一代身上傳下去，是不少港人父母心中的課題。中文教育也是，尤其在以英文為主的社會環境裏，如何讓孩子保有對中文的閱讀能力和文化理解，不只是語言能力的問題，更是身份認同與歷史感的延續。

慢慢地，一些文化平台與出版實體也悄悄在英國浮現。有些人開始辦中文書展，也有人開設獨立書店或網上平臺，把繁體中文的書從亞洲帶過來，讓人可以在異地繼續閱讀。畢竟，書一直以來就是文化傳承的載體，是思想的載舟。雖說英國有很多優質的書店，從新書到二手書應有盡有，但對講粵語、讀繁體的港人來說，能讀到一本熟悉文字、貼近自身經歷的書，感覺還是很不一樣的。

某次偶然，我在網上發現了一個名為「港書館」HK BookShare 的存在。它不是一間實體書店，而更像是一個帶有社群氣質的閱讀平臺，像是一群散落各地的讀者，透過書本維繫著彼此的連結與記憶。

這個平臺的運作方式也別具巧思。你可以每月免費借閱三本書，一個月後，只需負擔郵費，便可將閱畢的書寄給下一位讀者。書，就這樣在人與人之間流轉，像一所沒有牆、也沒有館員的圖書館。它不倚賴某一個地點的存在，而是寄託在讀者之間那份對文字的信任與珍惜之上。

我初次使用這平臺時，借的第一本書是出版於2023 年的陳冠中作品《又一個時代》。在華文文學文化的當代版圖中，陳冠中無疑是一位獨特的存在。他的文字橫跨地理、歷史與政治，不僅關注城市與個體的命運，也深入時代與記憶的裂縫。他像一位安靜的觀察者，在混沌與秩序之間，撿拾散落的真相與遺忘。

早在香港時，我便讀過他所著的《事後：本土文化誌》。那本書讓我窺見他所走過的六、七十年代香港。那是一個既繁盛又躁動的時代，一個文化尚未被完全市場化，社會仍有空間思考未來方向的年代。那本書裏，他談電影、談書、談左翼青年，也談從殖民到後殖民之間的香港。他也曾寫過一篇名為〈香港與我的開懞——電影、書和社會運動，一九六六－一九七五〉的文章，收入在《又一個時代》之中，算是對《事後》的回顧與補遺。

然而，在閱讀《又一個時代》這本書時，最吸引我的，是其中一篇題為〈「這個時代已經過去」——讀劉香成口述《世界不是這樣的》〉的文章。這篇文字以一貫陳冠中的冷靜筆調，透過敘述與評論，介紹劉香成的兩本著作：攝影集《上海：1991–2021——一座世界城市的肖像》與口述傳記《世界不是這樣的》。他並不急於評價，而是如素描般，一筆一筆勾勒出劉香成的生命輪廓與歷史現場。那是一種慢而穩、帶著距離感的敘述方式，正是我所熟悉的陳冠中。

劉香成是一位攝影師。他的重要作品包括拍攝「六四事件」中廣為流傳的「坦克人」照片，也曾記錄冷戰尾聲時的蘇聯、八九民運時的中國，以及後改革開放時代的上海。這些歷史節點，在他鏡頭下，既是影像也是現場證詞。而陳冠中在書中不是單純介紹這位攝影師的作品，而是透過他的人生軌跡，反觀整個華人世界近幾十年的劇烈變動：從理想主義到犬儒時代，從城市邊緣到全球舞台，再回到一種「後真相」的疲憊狀態。

在陳冠中的筆下，時代不是抽象的，也不是虛空的。它有聲音，有臉孔，有裂痕，也有些微但真實的溫度。他寫劉香成，也是在寫自己，更是在寫我們這些在中文世界裏來回徘徊、經歷過��滅與記憶重組的讀者。那些，你和我的事。

在《又一個時代》中，有一篇文章與香港並無那麼密切的關聯。那是陳冠中於2022 年擔任馬來西亞《星洲日報》第十六屆花蹤文學獎馬華文學大獎評審時，為得獎作品黎紫書的《流俗地》所寫的評語，題為〈一部小說點亮一座城——黎紫書《流俗地》的一個看點〉。

《流俗地》所描繪的，是怡保，也就是我自己的家鄉。說來慚愧，時至今日，我還沒有機會完整讀完這部作品，但我想，假以時日，我一定會好好補上這一課。陳冠中在對《流俗地》的評語中指出：「一部小說點亮一座城」，我以為，這句話也可以反過來形容陳冠中本人：他，就是那一位點亮香港這座城的人。

《又一個時代》中，還有一篇極具玩味的代序，題為〈二十年代〉。這裡的「二十年代」，不再是1920 年代那個充滿文藝、戰火與思想碰撞，過去的時代；而是我們正身處其中的21 世紀二十年代。

是的，你和我，都是這個二十年代的人了。

這個年代的開場並不��好：Covid-19 席捲全球，2019 年的香港亦發生翻天覆地的動盪。然而，世上又有哪個時代是真正完美無缺的呢？也許百年之後，未來的人類回望我們今天的二十年代，反倒會懷著一絲憧憬與想像？

值得一提的是，當我透過「港書館」平臺借閱這本書時，我的預閲序號恰好是1000 號。收到書籍後，我按指示登入網站輸入序號以確認取書，卻意外發現系統無法輸入大於999 的號碼。後來聯絡平臺才知道，志願者管理員也沒意識到，在不知不覺間，這個平臺在創立兩年之後，已經累積了那麽多的借書紀錄。

我想，這個數字還會繼續上升。

或許陳冠中想說的，反倒是：這個時代已經到來。
