How does Quinn feel upon reuniting with Jon for the first time?

tbh it’s a really big mix of feelings for quinn. above all? she’s relieved to see him again. they need his help taking back winterfell, so it’s sort of a sigh of relief that something is finally going right. there’s also a bit of a weird nostalgic feeling because the last time she saw jon was literally years ago atp.

it’s also a that weird feeling of seeing a person for the first time in ages after thinking of them for so long, yk? their first meeting was brief, but jon rlly left an impression / mark on her that led to quinn thinking of him occasionally during those years.

they hug on instinct upon seeing each other when they first reunite which i think speak volumes on both of their ends. like it’s intense enough that nik is actively weirded tf out seeing quinjon interact.

omg i could honestly be here all day talking about them so this ask is very very dangerous /lh

quinjon my fav sun/moon light/dark parallel ship tbh. it’s funny because them ending up together was sort of an accident on our parts but they are such soulmates that i can’t see it any other way!

quick little bullet points on their lore <3

- they meet when the royal family visits winterfell in episode 1 (which takes place over a month or so in our AU timeline) and they have a bit of a playful dynamic. quinn is a bit of a natural flirt which gets jon all flustered… but there’s something about the way he sees her that rlly disarms quinn and makes her not want to be as unserious as she usually is.

- quinn finds jon outside during the feast after he’s done speaking to tyrion - she could NOT stomach watching alyssa make heart eyes at theon greyjoy for a second longer and needed some air LMAO. this leads to the two of them just talking out in the courtyard even if jon’s pouty… quinn manages to get his mind off of things with enough effort <3

- i think jon sees past quinn’s vv carefully crafted mask ++ the flirtatious nymphomaniac persona she typically leads with bc it’s how she’s learned to navigate the world. not in a judgy way, but in the sense that he sees the person underneath it. he doesn’t take it at face value like everyone else.

- they are apart for a loooot of the narrative. those scenes at winterfell when the royal family is there will have to feed quinjon nation for ages sadly lol.

- BUT BUT BUT !! they get to reunite again in s6 when the starks are taking back winterfell <3

- they have some major opposites attract vibes. quinn is very playful, cunning, and sociable while jon is obviously more serious, quiet, and intense.

- some key variants for them are travis & natalie from yellowjackets, ricky & gina from hsmtmts, and mark & helly/helena from severance <3

- quinn & jon’s arc in season 6 is so special to me. they have an unspoken attraction to each other, but they’re in the midst of plotting to take back winterfell from the bolton’s and also processing everything that has happened since they last saw each other. i’m not going to share too much but i can promise a lot of them working together and a lot of yearning / pining from them both hehe 🙂‍↕️

- ^ well… idk if jon REALIZES he’s yearning bc he has a lot going on but trust me it’s there 🤞

- also quinn serves as jon’s unofficial hand while he’s ruling winterfell as KITN. not super relevant to anything here i just find that detail super cute lol.

- i’ll finish this all off by saying something special about their dynamic is they have a deeply inherent sense of trust in one another. quinn is not used to being able to trust people, so the fact she places so much trust in jon is a big deal. on the flip side, people often see quinn as untrustworthy. so the fact jon trusts her completely speaks volumes.

okay YEAH sorry i yapped so much but i rlly truly love them. they’re def our slow-burn of the series but i promise it’ll all be worth it in the end <3
