Loba’s response is a bit on the defensive side but Horizon doesn’t take it personally. Loba isn’t the sort to say thank you or act soft, especially not in the ring. Merely nodding in acknowledgement of her words, they follow her lead, RE-45 drawn more so out of caution than necessity. They’re not the sort to walk around unarmed unless the ring is forcing them to dash ahead like their butt is on fire. 

Loba’s remark about Mirage’s mishap earns her a laugh from Horizon. “Most times indeed. I witnessed it first hand. I don’t know what was more amusin’ his horrified mumblings as they fell or Lifeline’s face. The two of them really were quite embarrassed. The worst part for Mirage is that wasn’t even the first time he had a zipline mishap. I’ve seen him stumble with the zipline multiple times. I often wonder if I make him nervous.” 

      she keeps her flatline close to her stomach, finger set just to the side of the trigger, ready to take action if need be. she focuses on their surroundings, keeping an eye out for any scope glares or signs of a possible firefight between other teams. loba’s forgotten about the mishap earlier almost entirely — she has a way of always recovering gracefully, and moving on as if nothing had happened in the first place.

      “i’m sure the whole ordeal was worse for lifeline, she doesn’t let mishaps happen like that too often, unlike mirage.” she replies, a smile gracing her lips at the sound of their laugh, finding the whole situation just as amusing as horizon did. “i believe he does that to himself, falling off ziplines and nearly blowing his hand off with a thermite.” she offers, pausing for a beat before continuing, “for someone as ostentatious and showy as he is, he sure is clumsy.”

      “of course, did you expect me to go easy on you, silva?” there was a smirk plastered on her sharp features, eyeing the daredevil who was sprawled out on the ground in the middle of the training grounds. she spun her staff around, rubbing off the edge that she had previously jabbed octavio’s side with before offering her hand to help him up, “c’mon, enough laying around. let’s go again.”
