One episode or atleast two-third of the episode dedicated to pure domestic baekhong fluff with hae-in regaining her memories, that's what I wanted from the last episode of Queen of tears. Those two deserved that after 15 episodes of trying to reconcile in wake of one impending doom one after the other.
I would be forever salty about the fact that QOT had so many side characters and their stories on which they felt the need to focus more than the main leads😒. The insane chemistry between the leads was totally underutilized.
Right now watching lovely runner and while the show is good , right now just happy with the fact that this one has way lesser side characters/stories. Also that the major part of the last episode will actually be a happy ending with both of them remembering everything.

Her :

Also her :
(Yes, I consider her resting there instead of her room as her waiting for Hyunwoo)

She is the person who waits for him. & that makes his "You have never waited for me before nor she is a person who waits and he knows that better than anyone else" all the more ironical.
He is yet to know that he is her first love for whom she did all those things like taking a detour to watch him longer. Or renting out the whole popular places(read: planned) for their dates.
He needs to know his (ex?) Wife better.
Only if their words matched their actions or vice versa, there would be no story to tell😅

What even they did for the first 1-2 years of their dating or happy marriage phase....
Hyun woo probably heard Haein's brother's incident for the first time in Germany.
Hyunwoo never saw haein's childhood/teenage pictures or what??? Same goes for Seo cheol. Did they never came across their wives teenage photos to remember that they were the same girls who they were smitten with or bullied by in the past??? Haein wasn't the one to search the whole school for the boy who put a bandage on her so it's ok for her to not recognize Hyunwoo either by photos .
These two needs to be locked in a room without their phones and without any escape or sleeping as a option. Even then they might need provocation to communicate. 😒They don't even have issues except miscommunication and severe lack of expressing their true feelings.

So true. Hyun woo might be the obvious victim but so far he still had a life outside the Hong's albeit under surveillance 24*7. Haein had no-one but Hyunwoo given her own nature+position+family dynamics. Although distant & hurt, she believed that Hyunwoo still loved her and never thought divorce is also an option for them that he could consider.
Hyunwoo coming all the way to Germany to be with her, renewed her lost faith in their relationship. That's why those divorce papers hit her more than ever. Because those divorce papers meant that the person she considers home, not only wants to leave her behind her back but also pretended to love/care all along because she was dying anyway. In that reveal scene, the tears of haein made hyunwoo realise what he means to her and what he did to her through those divorce papers. The woman who didn't even shed a tear when she got to know that she had only 3 months left instead expected a miraculous cure, cried and gave up of treatment & life when she knew that her husband wants to divorce her.
Hyunwoo needed this reality check to know the impact he had & still have on Haein to understand the importance of him & their relationship in her life.
Episode 5 - Deeper Look
Hyun woo's journey till Episode 5 is finding love again. He had forgotten so much of what made him fall in love, who Haein was. He'd forgotten what made the marriage bearable. Who created that chasm between them? Who refused to accept help as he cried himself to sleep.
Hynwoo's the obvious victim of a vicious marriage but I think the real victim is Haein. Hyunwoo forgot that he loved Hae in. For him the hardship fell on him alone and it made him forget the women he loved was going through equal amounts of pain by losing their child. Feeling only he was being wronged, not scratching Hae in's surface deeper he grew apart. The family, the tears, the burden all came because he didn't have Hae in smiling at him at the end of the day. Hae in didn't change, Hyun woo did.
Hae in whilst collosal at showing it loved him and their unborn child very deeply. She never considers divorce because she never stopped loving him. I'm sure over the years she gathered crumbs of his love and those were enough for her because she knew he cared. And that was enough for her to continue her love in the same way she always had. Hyunwoo realises he loved her when he pretends to care again. He begins to realize again 'oh she's so pretty, oh she makes my heart pound still'.... And it scares him. When he runs away from kissing her in his room in the village he's not scared of her he's scared of the depth his own feelings. He'd never stoped loving her he'd just forgotten how and how much he actually did.

Hae in thinks he's afraid of her, then thinks no, he just doesn't care so the next morning she tries her best to let him know through her words (not her strangest medium mind) that she doesn't care either. She's heard his disregard for her and she's starting to think maybe she's wrong about his love for her. Her doubt's are winning. But then there in the rain she sees him holding an umbrella over her - half drenched in rain himself - and she doesn't understand. He loves her, she knows he does so why won't he love her? It's so confusing. He's selfless in love and for Haein actions have always spoken louder so why didn't he come closer last night?

For Hyunwoo though, words have always spoken louder. He's the one who hears first and notices actions second. For Hyun woo the it moment is when he hears her real thoughts in an interview she gave months ago (before she knew she was dying, when he was seriously considering divorce knowing that nothing could save his marriage). She said she wanted to talk, eat, walk and chat with him *everyday day*. He rewatched it because he couldn't believe it. She's never said it to him. It's been a long time since he's seen/heard her that soft. But they live together so why haven't they been doing all this? And it still doesn't hit him why until he gets to Germany.
Hae in was angry with him, thinking he didn't care as much when she left. She had sensed doubt and she wasn't going to string him along for anything. So dejected when she's at the palace she's essentially there because she's missing him and the time they were really, truly in love. When she was confident he loved her.
And what better way for him to start than to show her he cares. He knew her enough to realize she would not have worn comfortable shoes and brings the shoes to her, all the way from Korea.

When she says they're luring in tourist by saying you'll have no worries and tears he's quick to tell her that's exactly what she did to him. He proceeds to tell her 'now that we are married I should be there for you, especially in times like this.' The way he says it it's like a plea.
Translation: Please let me be there for you.
But her response is the light bulb he's been missing all along.
'Did I ever ask you not to be by my side? I wanted you to be by my side. I never wanted to be alone, ever.'
Translation: You don't need my permission. You misinterpreted my silence. You were always supposed to be by my side.
It's so accusatory in the saddest way possible that it hurts.
Hyunwoo left her alone when she needed him. When they both needed each other. She never pushed him away she just couldn't talk about her emotions but his _action_ (to move out of the bedroom) made all the difference in her perception of them. He realizes in that moment this is beyond just her illness, this is about their loss 2 years ago. And it's painful for him to realize that the reason he's been unhappy has essentially been himself all along. He told himself he couldn't love her. He thought her cruel. And he separated the most intimate space they shared. The single tears falling from both of them is them reliving the collective pain of the loss of their unborn child. They realise what happened. How they messed up. Hyun woo's sorry is truly genuine and deep. You can feel the weight of it being too much for him. Was he maybe also thinking about the actions he's made since episode 1 as well?
Hae in's love shines the most brightly in her words next. She's essentially telling him I think I've realized you're my miraculous way to live. You're the place that has no sadness for me. You're my home. 'Let's go home' has never been more literal. And this is when Hyunwoo really realizes ah this is how she used to express it. I see it - her love. It's been right here all along and now I'm being subjected to it again. And he can't hold it back any longer. He hugs her, let's his tears of pain and shame fall.
Their emotions during the hug are so telling. For Hyunwoo it's so much of oh God what have I done. I love her how did I mess up so badly? And for Haeina it's just relief. She has him back. The Hyunwoo who promised to be by her side, who loved her: he's right there. He's in her arms embracing her.
And then as soon as he can goes in to close the deed he had hesitated in just a few nights before. His heart now allowed to love Hae in again. His mind now able to comprehend her love for him.

And essentially I think this is why the divorce sucker punched Haein so bad. If her disregard was betrayal for Hyunwoo, this paper was it for her.

The mid -episode reminded me of Our beloved summer that “It’s okay to be alone from the start. You’d be used to it. But being alone after being with someone isn’t something I want to experience again.”
They were content being alone till they found each other . The breakup scene of CCY and haengseon was a tearjerker💔. People need a friend like yoongjoo in their life who will be always there for you. ❤️
Props to Hae-yi for confessing everything that too on camera. She just intended to tell the truth to CCY and could have backed out after seeing the youtuber there but she still went on to tell the truth.
I am just happy with the hae-yi squad scene. Someone give more scenes to this group dynamic and also to Sunjae- Geonhu . Also finally CCY somewhat got his friend back. I totally don't want Mr. Ji to be the killer as it will break CCY's trust. Can't understand the deal with Hui-jae except that his mother has driven him to his current state.
There is surprising lack of Sua from 2 episodes, no complaints though. Waiting for Sua's mom to find out about holes in her own household.
Kyungho and jeon do yeon are acing their respective roles separately& together. The romance and screentime(read: lack of unwanted character/storyline focus) makes me salty about hospital playlist though I like that show too . Could have given justice to his pairing in Hospital playlist1-2 (too little screentime for them amidst all those storylines) .

Episode 10 really points towards Mr.Ji to be the crux of the murder mystery if not being the killer himself. Maybe he really IS the brother of the dead girl who took a fancy of Mr.Choi after meeting him at funeral because of him kind/polite towards him and his sister which later turned into obsession that he just have this man from any possible harm.
Though somehow I might understand making the stalker academy girl go missing or killing the brat kid , I just can't wrap my head around killing Mr.Jin now after tolerating him for so long?🤔
If the killer is indeed Mr.Ji why he gave the long rope only to Mr.Jin and not others ? As far as I remember Mr.Choi never told him that Mr.Jin was his online basher.
And why Hui Jae was present at murder site ? It can't be a coincidence everytime .

Big Mouth
It's a good series and......
**Spoilers**
It could have been better if the writer didn't kill the female lead. Agreed it was foolish of her to go into that sinkhole without any protection even though she saw herself people getting in & out of it wearing Hazmat suits and she was bound to have repercussions but still terminal illness is too much . Couldn't they gave her something curable? I love her apart from that and actually thought she had more brain than Changho .
By the time it came to end I really thought wow...this series killed the original big mouse, killed hyejin , killed kwangyeon aka psycho , Changho lost the election , the lawsuit and miho lost her life. What kind of ending is that. Not mentioning Chairman Kang as he was the root of all evil...but it would've been interesting to see him disowning Doha upon knowing his truth, had Doha not acted first. Never expected his secretary to turn like that. And once he did, I was expecting Doha's secretary to switch too but he was evil too( read : disposing hyejin and cleaning after her, torturing Juhee) .
And just when I thought what's the need for this series if they made the leads losing every good thing they had and the villain getting everything he ever wanted, they wrapped and concluded everything. If it was this easy to kill Doha why didn't they did it sooner? Were they implying that had Miho not died due to that wastewater radiations , Changho would've never done the same to Doha?? Even if that was the case why...why kill her? Just getting the disease would've been enough. Still it was satisfying to see Doha and his evil trio suffer .
The females in this drama suffered the most...Juhee due to her blind faith and love for Doha . Hyejin due to not finding enough courage or support to leave her influential abusive husband. And Miho due to her innate goodness ( also because Changho took that fateful case and Daring to double cross/act smart with Doha) . Neither of the three deserved the fate or suffering they got ( ok may Juhee a little) . Also original big mouse and psycho deserved to live if not their own happy ending.
The People who actually deserved to die were Chairman Kang & his secretary, Choi Doha & His secretary, the trio , the prison guard , the nurse .
For the last episodes, they harped on Chairman Kang's devil son but he wasn't found or returned , were they setting up for Season 2 ?
Big Mouth in nutshell ...

Pic credit to the maker.
Only if Changho didn't took the case or fought as the dummy lawyer he was supposed to be, or just gave the dashcam video to Doha without seeing the content . Nothing would've happened. Whatever he made to go through in the prison by big mouse was indeed kept him alive in prison or else he would've died the first day itself.
Gong ji hoon atleast had his priorities straight throughout the series and props to him for not making a flip and joining hands with Doha after Chairman Kang's death unlike the trio. And he was the only one with a happy ending. He got his revenge, his company and is alive with family.
Also the Big Mouse gang was cool . The title was apt though for the promises and threats he made made or kept , Changho was indeed Big Mouth.
Nonetheless i enjoyed the series for the twist and turns first for the eternal mystery of "who is big mouse" and later because here everyone double crossed each other. Was definitely glad to see Lee jong suk onscreen . Hope to see him & yoona in some other show where they had better screentime together.

Link:eat love kill....they didn't bothered to show the motive of kidnapping/killings he did 18 years ago? Wasn't that the main plot point along with identifying the real culprit? The rest of the crimes he did was linked to that only.
The short vague monologue about him wanting to see how many murders can he do without getting caught and whom to kill first , can't be it.
Rest everything about the ending was good . Bokhee anxiously waiting for her Mother/MIL at bus stop , shows their bond. Props to Dahyun & Gyehoon's A+ communication skills in relationship.

Yumi's Cells Season 2
Contains spoilers....
I loved the first season & was actually waiting for Season 2 to come. I have partially read the webtoon just enough to know that Yumi marries the third guy and not the first two.
Season 1 was about her coming out of a long dating sabbatical & finally dating woong. The guy, though really loved yumi, had pride issues which later turned into communication issues and that proved fatal to their relationship . Though I didn't liked the saeyi track too (why can't this actress do one role where the character is actually good & not eyeing someone who has no interest in her😒) . Anyways woong really thought he will get his second chance to be with Yumi when he gets rich & stable enough but sadly life doesn't work out that way. When woong dreams of their could have been scenario it hurts only because it shows how their massive lack of communication ruined it for them.
Season 2 was about her pursuing her dream & learning to be happy on her own . From the flashbacks and also somewhere in S1 or 2, Babi said that he liked someone with letter 'U' while Yumi was still with Woong . I am not pointing at him or anything, but he was in a relationship with someone else not long ago and quickly attracted to Yumi. He really loved yumi later no doubt in that . But the Da Eun episode proved fatal from him not because someone confessed to him and his village got an earthquake Or because he decided to move to avoid & stop anything before it happens. But because he didn't tell yumi any of that. S1 woong did the same mistake by not telling yumi about saeyi moving in his building and they almost break up when she accidentally found that out . Same happened with Babi . They both either thought it's insignificant or its to dangerous to tell yumi any of the latest happenings and ended up with a break up/almost-break up .
When Babi thought to himself that yumi should've trusted him just like he did, he forgot yumi never knew that he knows that the guy she is meeting on Christmas Eve is woong. And When she returned, Babi got his reassurance. With Daeun , it was different because she was a totally new third person who presented a threat to their relationship. Being human it's only natural to find other man/woman attractive , but problem is when you have to take certain/drastic measures in order to prevent anything between you & them . One can argue that he went to that length because he was trying to remain faithful to Yumi and their relationship , but he HAD to do so much to stay loyal shows the crack.
Felt bad for babi in the first breakup scene (or all breakup scenes) because he tried hard. And then don't know the time jump , but he didn't do anything to contact/reconcile with Yumi and if not for the chance encounter I doubt he would've ever contact her ( considering the 8 month long time jump at end , where he contacts yumi to return her laptop & keep saying sorry for contacting & inconveniencing her) . (Props to woong too 8 months he maintained his distance once he got to know from her that she is marrying babi sometime later )
As per me, Their 2nd breakup happens not because of Daeun's call ,their breakup started when yumi couldn't answer woong if she loves Babi . That got her thinking. And it happens. People thinks their life is going fine unless some asks one question about it and that gets them thinking about everything that's wrong in their life. The Daeun call just added to it and she realised that she indeed have no love left for Babi . Babi sensed something is off, once he saw that damned missed call and that yumi must've seen that but never asked any clarification. Because that's not what yumi would've done ideally. So he saw the 2nd breakup coming miles away thus didn't resist much. Too bad because they seemed Happy with each other and would've made each other grow if not for the whole Daeun fiasco .
Loved that they are amicable with Yumi and how her cells acknowledges each of their contributions in her life. How she went on to be happy and successful on her own. The girl only wanted to be happy❤️ .
I loved YumBab though . They will still be my favorite couple. I have already said previously that this show has multiple endings in my imagination. The YumBab ending goes like.. they meet again at the airport but when asked he didn't lie about seeing someone ( why did he do that though , I hate it anyhow even if giving yumi a sense of closure was his reason) . He turns to leave ...but gets Yumi's text that if he thinks they can start afresh. He turns to see yumi still standing at the same spot. And just smiles at her . (Yeah I wrote myself a little fanfiction there😝) .
Woomi ending is where yumi asks him for a lunch sometime in last episode to thank him for everything along with giving him a second chance.😁
Also ...can I get a season 3 with Yumi - Soonrok . They could've showed his arc in this season only but instead they were busy giving so much screentime to Chief editor & Control-Z_Ruby scenes. Could've avoided all that. If they are short on story then make it 4-6 episode season just like Soundtrack#1(totally love that show) . If there will be a S3, they have to get an actor to top Jinyoung as Babi in all aspects for Soonrok and I do think the guy who played Soonrok in last episode is temporary because The face was blurred and the writer said that they did so for the freedom to cast any actor as Soonrok if there is a s3.
Someone repeat Kim Go Eun & Jinyoung pair in some other show , Romantic comedy ... I don't want them to not end up together again. Or repeat the trio altogether , I won't mind. Too much to ask to repeat a lead pair in kdramaland but still .
Why do all of Kim Go Eun's costar looks like they are in love with her....How that's even possible. 😅
It became a long post....you have patience if you read till end 😆

Rushed to twitter for yumi cells finale commentary because was curious about the ending and also to save myself from possible heartbreak .
(Spoilers)
Now after reading the updates from last two episodes, I want Woong to get Yumi & be happy. I want Babi & Yumi to live happily ever after (know happily ever after doesn't exist but still) and also Yumi to be Happy with Soonrok as per drama. So In my mind there is literally multiverse for this show with three different guys & same girl. Happened for the first time. Will have to wait for Subs to watch. Someone on Twitter posted a strip from webtoon Ctrl Z - ruby tiffin scene and then got to read the webtoon & realized that they were indeed following that only and honestly I didn't wanted any of the three to get a sad ending.I do understood why she ended their relationship again. Though I totally like them as YumBab(& also individually because kim go Eun ❤️ & Jinyoung❤️) and was rooting for them to atleast start afresh , it's hard to behave & revert to the same phase once something gets broken even if you are partners, friends or family. One can try and try harder but will always be afraid of another setback thus will always be cautious. And if continued here it's not only Yumi who will be afraid but Babi too will forever be afraid to let yumi down in any manner therefore will never be his real self or comfortable in that relationship . So it made sense in drama. But I was too invested in any pairing, that wasn't second leads after so long(after our beloved summer) , that they are the endgame in my imagination. (In my imagination after the airport scene in finale , after Babi turns she calls out for him & Yumi ask him out again & he agrees😅. In other universe, She is Happy with Woong 😝)
May be it's Kim Go Eun or its the way the show or characters are written & portrayed by Her, Ahn bo hyun & Jinyoung that I like each of them and all three have chemistry together. Definitely want to see all three or Kim Go Eun & Jinyoung in another drama where they do end up together but they rarely repeat lead pair in kdramaland...so 🤞.
Want to Hope that there will be a season 3 but chances are dim since they gave most of the third guy arc to Babi , they don't have much material to show for Season 3. Still ....🤞

Link : Eat Love Kill
Still curious about the motive of the kidnapping because the kidnapper/killer probably hadn't done anything else in years to be classified as psychopath . Lee Jingeun was one and good riddance he died . Still want to think that the sister is alive but the behavior of the current owner of that house and that whole neighborhood being shady as hell leaves little hope.
Them and gyehoon's own parents blaming him for his sister's disappearance is twisted. Even if older than her, he was still a kid then. His mother making the seaweed soup and throwing it away without thinking it's her son's birthday too was harsh. Also the piano teacher becoming a victim with his own life and family ruined shows how the society works. And that one cop is still hell-bent on convicting him after all these years.
This drama is slow and took it's own sweet time to get to the plot . Two doubts though :-
1. When is that restaurant going to open if at all ?
2. If Da hyun knows she is in danger or someone is stalking her , then why on earth this woman jaywalk through deserted alleys at night all the time. Let alone her going back to the kidnapping place or accidentally asking for Lee Jingeun to meetup. Why? And that's when she has one telepathy boyfriend, two armed family members and one enemy-turned-sister as protectors worrying about her day in day out .
Need more of the Cop couple & lead couple group scenes . Also more of Gyehoon and Ji won tak scenes.

Business Proposal
Started for fun, fell for second lead couple ❤️❤️. There were times when I was invested in second lead couple more but here I was only interested in them and never cared for the main leads as a pair (no offense). These two needs a show of their own. Individually all four were good though Ahn ho seop's kang tae moo gave major Park seo joon's Lee young joon(what's wrong with secretary kim) vibe . And Since I was watching for the group/duo scenes of the girls/guys , was disappointed when their screentime got less & lesser . Same for the second lead screentime which decreased drastically after their hookup.
Anyways all in all a very entertaining light series to watch. Seol in Ah as Young seo will remain my girl crush.😍❤️

Yumi's Cells Season 2
Loved their season 1 and was actually waiting for Season 2 because Kim Go Eun 😍❤️❤️ . The Cell world is best and highly entertaining . First season curiosity got the best of me so read the webtoon summary and honestly Yumi-Woong breakup hurt less because their communication issues were massive so kind of predicted their breakup. But even after knowing she won't end up with Babi either , Yumi-Babi breakup was sadder maybe because their was nothing wrong in their relationship if not for the external swaying/attraction for another person which was huge enough reason to breakup . Or Maybe Babi wasn't sincere in this relationship either since his cells had to practically burn the scroll containing when he fell for yumi answer. Him thinking that yumi should've trusted him just like he trusted her with Woong remembering his text was shocking as the text came from someone named Patdol, he only correctly assumed that it was woong and yumi never bothered to clarify because she never knew he knows about woong and also because she ended everything that night without any consequences as opposed to Babi who not only got a massive earthquake resulting from watching Daeun, a totally new third person, moving out of city but also got himself to move out of a house he loved all because of her or his feelings and not telling yumi about any of that.
Though super quick the reconciliation was still understandable but further lying then that proposal even when they both don't trust each other was bizarre. There is no way the wedding is gonna take place because the feelings changed and reasons changed for them. The post breakup dating scenes were awkward and showed they were trying but something is amiss each time . They just want to make each other stay without doubt and Babi thought marriage is the best solution for that which it isn't and they will understand that sooner than later. Since there is no hint of Soonrok/season 3 don't know who she will end up with but definitely don't want her to go solo after all this. She only sees woong as a friend at best at this point so them being the endgame is highly unlikely. But to get woong back in series only to break his heart one more time is cruel .
First time watching Jinyoung . Not interested in him in S1 but he is rocking as Babi in S2. YumBab do have chemistry both the characters & actors and that got me invested despite the lack of Babi's cells/village scenes. If there is a S3 or Soonrok they must cast an actor better than him in all aspects. The Woong-Babi clash in Ep12 was a highlight, maybe because of their cells fighting, angry Babi or because of their height difference .

*Tried to watch Happiness but it creeped me out with the first murder culprit itself bcoz i am too chicken hearted . Will restart someday .
Lost interest :-
Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung...till episode 12/13
Pretty noona who buys me food
Just between lovers
The king's affection...till 13.
Now, we are breaking up..till episode 8...might finish this in fast forward only to watch the hwang siblings story arc.
My roommate is a gumiho...Not interested in lead characters from get go so dropped it. No offense to ML fans but I saw him in other shows like Go back couple, The boy Next door, sweet and sour and now we are breaking up and found him tolerable only in The boy Next door.

Just because this was my favorite character and couple throughout Hospital Playlist . Did wanted more of them though . Loved the karaoke and reunion in finale ❤️ Also Junwan getting away even after blurting out that Bidulgi comment with the trio was hilarious 🤣 .
Hope they make Season 3🤞.
