Coining Butterfly Bisexual!

A butterfly bisexual (also can be called butterfly biromantic, bi-oriented, ect.) is someone whose attraction to multiple genders fluctuates, including in preference. This can include those who may prefer a gender one day and then have no preference the next, as well as a-spec people who experience changing romantic or sexual attraction in their bi-orientation. This is a closed label and can only be used by those who identify with a bi-orientation.

I invite other m-spec people to create their own "butterfly" labels! I think it'd be cool to share the term.

It's kind of normal for cis people to not care too much about their genders, but they usually would care if they turned out to be a different gender.

The term for this is gender apathetic or cassgender but you can still call yourself cis. An alternate term is cis by default, where someone labels themself with their AGAB because they don't care about gender.

It is not inherently under any existing term, such as agender or nonbinary, as it is its own spectrum. It can range from genders that are affected by genderlessness, gender indifference, genderlessness affected by gender, or otherwise.

Examples of genderorchid experiences:

Having a gender, but it isn’t really Important to you.

Having CINN genders that fade out after a while.

Feeling genderless, but having genders that feel like “accessories."

Gender indifference, or gender apathy. (ex: cassgender)

Genderlessness with a vague tie to a gender (such as neagender.)

A gender described as “…sad and lost, invisible catgender.” There are many ways and reasons for one to identify and it’s up to the individual on their reasons for identifying as it.

Navy is used for the darkness, loneliness, and sad feelings of this gender. It gets darker in the middle showing in the middle of someone is hard to tell what is happening which could be a reason for identifying with this gender.
