Chat they made Minecraft into a silly goofy cringe movie even through Minecraft is actually about life and earth and the universe and tearing meaning out of the ground and molding it with your hands into something that you can be proud of. They made the pink sheep look ugly and funny for a cheap laugh when it should’ve been a beautiful moment where you, age eleven, come across this rarity, this beautiful anomaly and you hold its face in your hands and stare into its chocolate brown eyes and you realize what the whole world is about. It is nice to be back! And of course I come baring questions, so like I’m not sure if this was ever touched on but would neohumans and the envoys- (maybe even Bot! Ashlyn to spice it up lol) have blaschko lines? Because like the only reason they don’t show up is because they’re like the same pigment as the rest of our skin most of the time (I think idk) and because it would also be dope.

The design I have for neohumans in my head is so intricately beautiful and terrifying. I deeply wish I was capable of just projecting my thoughts sometimes.

Ehem, blaschko lines exist and are present, and I have a nice little twist for them; their the techno-organic version of biolights.

Unlike the Cybertronian version, they are not always active or consciously controlled. But they are embedded in the protoform. Certain lighting makes them more apparent, as would certain injuries or conditions that affect protoform thickness, but they are present in every Neohuman (Envoys included). Some coloring differences are relatively small, so it might be an almost imperceptible line that only comes out under the right conditions. Others are actually pretty stark, silvery hues that border on light violet, copper lines that always seem to glow slightly, or an ivory white with almost energon-like hints. There's such a large and diverse range that it's like another version of a fingerprint, and later, those lines are used for that exact purpose.

Cybertron can't help but find the lines beautiful, and a fade does pick up for a time of borrowing Earth's tattoo skills to mimic the designs on their own protoforms, despite warnings from medics and the foolishness of marking such thin and vulnerable areas that would be covered up by plating anyway.

A lot later, when tensions have settled and Humanity opens up again, slowly, to their cousins in the stars, such mimicry of those marks becomes a gift. Wearing an engraving of a print is as close to a spark bond as some can get, and it is valued and treasured just the same.
