If you could make a yellow and white diamond au, so can a pink diamond au, but give it the au fandom treatment and put your own unique spin on it, like you did with Bio in the white diamond au please?

I loved this idea! I was thinking on it for a while, and since I already have Bio I decided to make an interesting run away diamond AU in gaelic Ireland with her. She's way more human looking in this because she had a human father instead of being a sort-of Pink Diamond biological clone (hence the name Bio). I love the idea of Pink being seen by the locals as a mystical forest spirit who would grant healing to anyone who sought her out. In this AU, Bio would be known as Bebhinn and is a druid in her tribe. In this AU, Pearl was shattered as punishment for Pink actively fighting for the planet as a diamond rather than Rose, so Bebhinn was raised by humans alone as a gift from the 'forest spirit'. Her father dies soon after her birth in a tragic accident, so it really was a raised by the village situation. I like the idea of the events of the show taking place when Bebhinn is 20, but of course they'd be very, very different.

Since Ven takes the place of Sour Cream, would he be a member of The Cool Kids?

Yes he is actually! They'd be his main friend group and he'd be constantly hanging out with them, despite Pearl's insistence they were bad influences. Also they were born a little earlier so that they could have fun with him in the 90s.

Orange Aventurine

The fusion between Coral and Pearl. In this AU, she replaces Sugilite as the most unstable fusion in the Crystal Gems. Coral's self assurance combined with Pearl's unbridled confidence creates the most egotistical gem to ever be formed. Aventurine can't fathom a world in which anything about her is wrong, which means in turn that everyone else is beneath her. She loves herself so much it becomes unhealthy, and refuses to unfuse even when the communication tower is down. Garnet was the only reason why Aventurine managed to unfuse in that moment, and is the reason behind why she is benched and generally not formed. Her attacks are soundbased, as she sings through he microphone pop music. Whenever she appears, the episode she is in turns into a musical with her as the main star.

How can you picture Yellow Steven’s reaction to finding Rose being pregnant? And how would you also picture him feeling when he meets baby Nora after she is born in the future?

He'd be shocked at first defo, and I don't think he'd take it that well for a few weeks. He has a very negative conotation with gem pregnancies due to his mother's making him feel like a whim rather than she wanting him. After Rose explains to him how passionate she is about life and probably also shows him the VHS tapes for the future baby, he is fully onboard. He's the most supportive of her pregnancy out of everyone and promises her that he'll be a good older cousin to the baby. I want to say that Aside from Greg, Ven is the only one at the birth of Nora because the other gems are too heartbroken to attend. Its probably a very very emotional moment for him, and I think upon first meeting Nora he'd be conflicted. He just saw his basically aunt die and even at the age of 25 that is pretty horrific and traumatising. Ven would never show this conflict though and would always treat Nora like any normal little girl. Ven would also defo help out with the baby and would donate all his past worn shirts to her as she grows up.

Would Stevinin be a fan of heavy metal?, given his violent personality? What music genre would Steven and Ven be a fan of?

Stevinin would be a fan of heavy metal, but it wouldn't be the music he listens to regularly. Instead, he listens to all sorts of electronic music, usually ones with a very high bpm that he can (privately) rave to. On that note, Stevinin is the only one out of my Steven AUs that dance regularly, Ven thinks its uncool and Steven is way too shy. I would say that Stevinin's favourite artist would be Albin Meyers. He also mainly listens to scandinavian/european artists because he finds the american scene 'over saturated'.

Ven's favourite genre is punk and heavy metal, which has mostly been influenced by Vidalia but also somewhat by Greg. He's in no way a music snob though, and is against the idea of 'posers'. He would probably travel far to go to his artist's favourite concerts and defo has his room covered in music posters. Ven's favourite artist is Joy Division, and is very sad that he was born after its existence. He still really enjoys New Order but electro isn't really his jam so he doesn't buy their records religiously.

As for Steven, he would love everything gothic. In general, I don't think he can listen to high energy songs without getting overstimulated so he mostly listens to chill songs. I don't think Steven listens to music that much, he's much more of a reader. He does listen to classical music a lot when reading though, so thats probably what his spotify wrapped would be made out of. As he's from my main AU, I actually made a playlist for him a while back, and might as well share it now. I have playlists for other characters but I want to draw their icons for the playlists before revealing them. Keep in mind this isn't what he listens to, this is just what represents him to me.

Why does your female version of Stevinin look like @askbluestevenuniverse’s Nora universe from the brilliant blinding au? Let me guess, inspiration?

The mortification I feel everytime I have copied someone's design without ever knowing it exists is undescribable. I haven't looked at any other diamond aus cause I want everything to be from my noggin but apparently I cannot come up with an original thought in my White AU. I have now resigned myself to the fact that somehow I contain a plagarism power that allows me to take from designs I have quite literally never seen before. I'm some sort of non-consenting AU Super Villian at this point.

In the future when this unboutably happens again know that I have never seen any other Diamond Steven AU and I have been cursed with unoriginality.

Pumpkin

Often considered the 'brains' of the Crystal Gem B team, her origins within the dynamic are very humble. Pumpkin was one of the many gems who fell victim to corruption at the end of the war, a jasper that got lost in the commotion from her squad. While she was serving the diamond authority at the time, she was somewhat sympathetic to the Crystal Gems during her short span of life prior to corruption.

Her existence was almost completely lonesome till she one day relaxed in a certain pumpkin field. She was discovered by Sapphire and Nephrite, who promptly began trying to poof her for crushing many of the pumpkins in her wake that Steven was cultivating. Upon hearing the commotion, while at first joining in on the assault, Steven quickly encourages a different method. Instead of attacking the invading gem, Steven attempts to placate it, surprisingly working. Now in a minature and much more agreeable form, Steven encourages Sapphire and Nephrite to take on the task of caring for her, naming her Pumpkin after her likeness with them. From here, Pumpkin becomes a constant presence amongst the two, who both grow to care for her greatly. Nephrite was the one to encourage Steven to attempt convincing Yellow Diamond to help the corrupted gems due to this fact. Pumpkin was one of the first gems to be uncorrupted, and retaining fuzzied memories of Sapphire and Nephrite is extatic to be united with them properly for the first time.

With so much of her existence spent corrupted, it took a while for Pumpkin to fully discover the type of person she was. She never had to look far for support however, as Sapphire and Nephrite always lent a helping hand. It took her longer to be trusting of any other member of the gems, including Steven, however by the time Future takes place she is completely stable in her identity and around others. While generally optimistic and cheerful, it would be a wrong assesment to see Pumpkin as ditzy. The truth is completely the opposite, as she has quite the strong head on her shoulders. Incredibly organised, she plans out a lot of what goes on in Little Homeschool and could be described as the vice-principal of the entire settlement. She designed much of the structures with the help of Bismuth and helped with the outline of the things taught there. You can find her always in the thick of it, helping out teachers she passes by and fixing whatever problems crop up on the daily. When things don't go to plan, Pumpkin is quick to anxiety, in dire cases even finding herself having an intense panic attack.

This is the main blog for my passion project, a gem swap in which instead Pink being the littlest diamond, its Blue. The AU will be set during the events of Future, and will be written out with visuals for each chapter.
