one of the things i love about half life is gordon is a mostly blank slate character and you can really only get a sense of him from inference. but the fact that gordon is kleiner's special little guy speaks volumes. just look at kleiner and you'll be able to learn a lot about how gordon must have been before the world went to shit.

When Dog pulls you out of the rubble at the beginning of episode 1 I couldn’t tell that he drops you in front of Alyx so for a while I thought he was just holding Gordon in mid air like a kitten.

back in 2017 when epistle 3 came out i really wanted to turn it into a visual novel style game but then i remembered i don’t know how to write,.. unfortunately my brain didn’t shut down that thought until now so here are some concepts for key scenes i had. i wanted the player to be able to play as both gordon freeman and gertie fremont and have different endings lol
