Maserati Siluro 4CM Carenato, 1937, by Viotti. Designed Mario Revelli Di Beaumont and Giuseppe Furmanik, a radically streamlined land speed record car that resembled a torpedo. It was powered by a supercharged Maserati 4 cylinder engine that produced 200 hp at 7000 rpm, remarkable figures for the period. 0n June 2-3, 1937 Furmanik used the Firenze-Mare motorway to beat the class (1100 to 1500cc engines) record for a new land speed record  with a ”Flying start", achieving an average of 237.568km/h.

The later mission impossible movies decided to make "friendship" a big theme and its hard to overstate how much I disagree with this move. They should've asked me. But I was 13 so I didn't know yet.

The closest person we have to being able to do Gravitys Rainbow on screen is Takashi Miike and I take no pride in saying this. But it's true.

Shoutout to the ttrpg book club!! If you want to play Greed and have been waiting on a group, this is a great opprountiy!
The vote has closed in the A.N.I.M. TTRPG Book Club, and the winner is..
GREED is.. something. It’s actually a game I’ve been nominating literally every round since the book club started in like 2023, I wanted to play it because it’s funny and the first half or so of the rulebook that I’ve read intrigued me and sounded like it would be fun to play, with a level of rules density that matches its tone.
It was also made by @gormengeist who is someone I know and would like to get to come in and join the discussion on the game if they’re so inclined. We get the developers of the winning game to come join in whenever possible.
At the time of writing this, sign-ups are starting shortly. Sign-ups will close on Monday morning, May 12th 2025.

Re-reading the Akira manga, and its interesting that in the books Neo Tokyo is about 5 blocks wide, like we can't go ten pages without disparate important characters running into one another by coincidence in the darndest of places. But like yk I kind of love this because it reminds me of old musical comedies where everyone's bumping into each other at the worst moments. And maybe it's evocative of the city life. I don't know. Shoutout Akira manga no one's done it like that since you did it.

Recent original drawings, mostly knights. Been slowly learning how to compose the armors more realistically, but it's likely I'll go back to just playing with the shapes more than anything. It's more fun and interesting that way. Still, good learning, the knowledge will come in handy even when making more fantastical designs.
