Heidi froze on the spot, Howard's wrists still in a firm grip, when she was processing the information. And as that task was done an instant shudder crawled down her spine.

"What the JUICE, Howard?! That's--"

Disgust wasn't there to linger for too long though for another shudder soon followed the last one. This time, however, it wasn't one of nauseation. It was downright shock. This gigantic shoob wasn't gonna... He wouldn't---!

"STOP, SHOOSH!!", she exclaimed, hands darting to his mouth in order to hinder any further word from escaping. "Stop right there."

For quite a while her hands lingered there until Heidi eventually eased the weight on his mouth. Not out of sympathy, obviously. She knew there was no way out of this situation.

After she took a deep breath, the girl asked sheepishly: "What do you want me to do?"

"Haha! If you reaaaly want it, well, its in the back of my pants. Near my butt. Man, there are some juicy gossip in this diary. It’s possible I won’t say anything, perphaps you can do something for me?"

Howard smirked at the thought of it, making her do his bidding in exchange for his silence. Oh, how Bruce that would be! Maybe he can broadcast it on Heidi’s show.

"Oh my God, I didn’t you had a crush on—-"

"Do we got an expert here?", Heidi said, giving a proud smile. Now that was a topic to start with! "It's a McCam McRa 3.44! Latest model, 720P,  wide zoom plus McInstaphoto effects on demand! Everything you could ask for as a reporter."

"But ngl I had to work hard for it - what do you got?"

What's up with all these youngsters crossing her path lately? That wasn't going well with her professional image. Perhaps, she could pretend to have a warm heart for the kids, but there wasn't really any itch for that right now.

"You're... looking for the horror geek club, or--?"

Darn, you’re right, dad is a huge wuss.

"Yeah, he is. But what's more important,"

"Well, I got mom. You'll have dad. We'll see who's gonna win."

She wished she could say anything against him. Anything to outsmart the booger of a brother, but Heidi knew very well that he was only going to continue tip-toeing his way around argument after argument, eventually making her feel like the idiot - oh, but not this time.

"You're giving my diary back RIGHT NOW, Howard Weinerman!"

With quick steps she reached her brother in no time, hands darting to his wrists and pockets in search for the evidence.

"Where did ya put the stuff?!"

I know how to sneak in your office, Heidi. Besides, I’m sure some people will find it interesting to see you in braces, also I found your diary.

The girl's confusion was absolutely lost on Heidi, as she had no personal comprehension of her own unusual vast vocabulary, nor sense of any stranger's personal comfort. Though how could she calm her dillies when air time approached, and she just had found a subject of personal interest? No way, she's gonna miss that catch!

"Looooove your shweet style going on there, red-coo!", she continued happily, switching on important devices with a few simple clicks in the meantime. "Casual, full on jumpy for actions, 'nd mysticolors? You got a swirl going there, ahead of secs, mins, days!!"

"Say, wanna go on air with your good H-Wizzle?"

       ”I have a visual on the target - approaching now.”

Going undercover hadn’t been an option that day, though Kim hadn’t necessarily been concerned about it. Sure, her mission gear was unique to her personal style, but Norrisville seemed to be entirely off the grid when it came to keeping up with Club Banana trends, as well as national and international news - so unless she ran into Randy or his cloned counterpart, it was safe to say that she’d be able to keep her sights focused on Killigan and his whereabouts in Norrisville.

At least, that was the case before another ginger stepped in - stopping Kim in her tracks both figuratively and literally. She was caught off guard by the slang - what did drizzling even mean, besides light rain showers? - and effectively lost sight of the rogue golfer, long enough for him to disappear in the crowd.

"I - wait, what?" Kim spoke, now effectively confused and a little frustrated by the fact that it could now take her hours to track her foe again. “I’m a little confused.”

And then people said being some kind of a gossiper could only bring misfortune in your life - her sharp ears, catching any so faint mumbling, disagreed.

It had to be said, though, that Heidi was unsure of bursting out in laughter or simply giving an acknowledging nod after having caught the request. Mixed thoughts occupied her mind, but all could easily be parted in two categories: either finding hilarity in his approach, or being empathetic. It just had been so obvious he'd need her help in that subject.

"'course, I can help you, silly!", she eventually decided on saying, giving a dangerous sweet smile. It was only then when her sneaky side sparked all together with a flashing, wide grin.

"But what do I get outta this?"

     Randy really didn’t want to do this. He didn’t care if he failed the class and had to repeat the ninth grade; his pride wasn’t so cheap as to be shaken by such a thing.

Tennis' facial expression spoke volumes, but it wasn't reason enough to make her feel any less disgruntled. At least, the displeasure seemed to rule on both sides.

"D'uh, sure I am. Unlike some shoobs I gotta focus on my school work atm. Why are you asking?"

     Coming to the pseudo reporter was literally the last thing Randy wanted to do. That being said she was, unfortunately, the smartest person he knew—the Nomicon aside, that is. Heidi was the only person he could turn to in this desperate time.

At the sight of the new individual in front of her the journalist had to let out a little gasp - now, that gal was a must see! Super stylish, confidence overdose, and Heidi didn't even want to start describing that hair. She must've learned from the very best.

"Ooooh, bruce style you got drizzling there, newster!! Want to get some VIP tickets for the crème de la cheese, huh?"

As if her little brother wasn't annoying enough already, his other half had to make an appearance, too, didn't he? Bruce-tastic! The whole circus came to ruin her day!

"What's it, Mandy?"

I’m going to broadcast it to thee entire school!

The girl let her scoff sound loud and clear, putting hands on her hips for angry emphasis.

"You think I'd give a care, Howard? It's more of a proof how time can give anyone a beauty push - That's gonna give some peeps a boost! Also, it's still me broadcasting, and I think there's barely gonna be any you in my show after your epic fail last time."

The flashy smile of the journalist disappeared in the moment news crashed in, eradicating any color her cheeks carried with it. This state of horror didn't last for too long, though, as her well-known grin decorated her features once more in mere seconds.

"Good one, missy. I know he's wrecking the city twenny-four seven with Vando, but for him to get stank'd and cause real damage you basically gotta steal his food. 'nd that's impossible."

Well, your brother got stanked and destroyed the school and possibly the entire city.
