Anupamaa - World Class Luxury Town

Anupama is a small village located in the heart of the tsunami devastated South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It has become a well known tourist destination and can be visited by thousands of tourists all through the year. There is a long history in this village and it was here that the legendary myth concerning the"nine worlds" were narrated. This story became increasingly popular in the entire world from the novel,"Romeo and Juliet." The legend claims that there are nine worlds however only four actual cities in Sri Lanka - Anupamaa, listeners, Thoresby, and Thripunithura.
There's a popular expression in Sri Lankan that states,"The voice that never quivers is the voice of truth." And truth is the voice of God. That is why truth is indeed a lighthouse that direct the tourists in this beautiful and tranquil village. Anupamaa is situated at the convergence of two mountain streams named Anupurinda and Nayakala. The stream that flows from Anupamaa into Thoresby runs through a lush forestation and supplies abundant greenery to this serene village. The gorgeous flow is believed to have been created by the goddess Ganga.
The story narrations say that Lord Indra fell in love with Ganga and wished to marry her. However, Ganga did not accept the deal as she was mad with the king for making her flood and inducing her to dry up. Indra went to Thoresby and asked permission to take water out of the flow Anupamaa Twist. The king said he won't allow it. Indra then took him his elephants and tiger and they drove away the bunch of folks hoping to find access to Ganga.
There were some courageous guys who attempted to attack the king, but they were turned backagain. Then Ganga blocked the stream with a mass of rocks. Her cry of'Sudama nishchay' or'namaste' sooth the storm along with the rocks. This led to the huge stone blocks to crash back on the city and destroyed the houses and also the temple of Thoresby. Thoresby was completely destroyed. It has been estimated that there was less than one square meter of earth that remained standing once the city was destroyed.
Now, Thoresby is famous for its lovely beaches and the abundant marine life which may be found around the waters of those 2 rivers flowing through the town. It is also famed for its exotic vegetation and for being the home of the rare mouse deer. There are many areas where tourists can detect the wonderful creatures and birds. Anupama is also near by the Marine National Park where people can go on a walking safari and feed the critters. The Nui Andaman Sea is also nearby, which offers amazing fishing opportunities for vacationers.
Anupamaa is well connected to different areas of the world by road and air. From Air you can travel to Shimla, Kullu Manali, Hyderabad, Guwalior, Pune and Kodaikanal. Roadways connect the city to the other towns in the area like Bhubaneswar, Thuringa and Nalore. There are quite a couple of bus services available from important towns of India to Anupama. Tourists can take a taxi from the railway station or try their fortune at hiring a bus in the bus stand in Anupama.
