At the Cash Saver last night, I spotted fresh avocados for 18 cents a piece and decided to stock up. The woman next to me was piling them into boxes (not even in a cart, just into boxes), so I asked her: “Are these really only 18 cents a piece?” Without acknowledging me or looking up, she barked back “They only 18 cents. You need not know why.” and kept throwing them into her boxes. I checked out with my avocados.

I need not know why.
