"...unlike his last husband" is such a sick line. john dangling the life he's living with robert's loved ones in front of him, fresh off of aaron confronting robert about the divorce, the radio silence, liv. and you can see robert retreat into himself just as vic said he did before. and john just sticks the knife in further. they're finally let john exist in the story and it is so fucking good.

I almost feel sorry for you, 'cause you still haven't realised what you are ― you're sticking plaster, Johnny. Just there to stop the bleeding. You're just there until the wound heals, but it's never gonna heal. I mean, today must've shown you that.

ROBRON S/L Masterpost
For those of you who have seen people freak out about "Robert Sugden" and "Aaron Dingle" and "Robron", and wonder what Emmerdale is about, I've decided to make a master post with links for those of you who want to watch Aaron and Robert's story from the beginning and get on the fandom's hype train. Mind you, it's gonna take you a while, but it's worth every second.
Emmerdale is a british soap opera that has been running for more than 50 years, since 1972. It's practically impossible to watch every single episode and catch up to current episodes if you have a busy schedule (though not impossible if you have access to ITVX), but for Robron-purposes, you will only need to watch the following playlists that span the years Robert and Aaron were on screen together, played by their current actors.
So, without further ado, if you have a bit of free time and want to enjoy the roller-coaster of emotions that is Robert and Aaron's story, here it is:
2014
2015
2016
2017
2018
2019
Robert's actor left the show in 2019, but Aaron's actor stayed until 2021. He came back briefly in 2022, and then returned permanently in 2023 with an all new personality.
2023
From 2024 onwards, the broadcast company that airs the show started cracking down on yt videos that featured their most recent episodes, so I made a little archive here to share Aaron's latest storyline.
2024-2025
EXTRA CONTENT
Aaron and Robert are legacy characters on the show, which means they come from long-standing families, Robert in particular comes from the foundational family who bought 'Emmerdale Farm'. You can watch their respective childhood/teen storylines here:
Robert Childhood/Teen Years (I)
Aaron Dingle Teen Years/Coming Out (I) (II)

I adore that Kawi thinks it's all a dream so he's just doing all the things he imagined he would do if he got the chance without realizing that he's actually changing the past. Living a life he dreamed of because there are no consequences is very different than living the life he's always and already lived because there were always consequences and he's freeing himself for all the ways he's held himself back.

Krist just shared something I found really thoughtful.
He knows that Gawin keeps a very healthy distance from social media normally, so while promotion on social media is part of the job for Be My Favorite, he and Gawin decided on an approach that wouldn’t be uncomfortable for Gawin.

And given how smiley and energetic Gawin’s been throughout promotion for Be My Favorite, I think they’ve done a good job of respecting boundaries and social (media) batteries and making his first real main role a positive experience.

This has been another episode in the continuing adventures of:
✨The Care and Feeding of Actor Introverts✨

Be My Favorite
I am sincerely worried for this one. It's Jittirain, it has someone with a crush on the main character supposedly marrying his love interest, it's gonna be all about lying and the lie not mattering because it's Jittirain and that's her signature move... but maybe Fluke can finally do the impossible and make me like a Jittirain romantic lead? @absolutebl Lots of guitars and microphones in this one.

Be My Favorite - First Thoughts
I'm already coming into this the most conflicted I've ever been about a show, but I'm happy to have a weekend of magical realism (Be My Favorite, La Pluie, and The Luminous Solution), so I'm going to contain my pettiness and pray JittiRain does not screw me over for the sixth time.
Hand clutching my rosary with clown makeup on:
Beginning with a philosophical lecture about how time is measured by change. Let's hope JittiRain took this to heart.
I appreciate the student wearing a hijab, and that female characters are being written better in BLs. Pear, like Never Let Me Go's Maggie, is someone who I could root for if this weren't a BL, and I'll feel bad if and when she gets her heart broken.
GroupMe came out 12 years ago, and group chats have never been the same since.
I like when dates in the show match up closely to the air date. Perhaps we will end where we began, a week after the wedding, on May 26th.
Kawi is too poor to contour or buy an unreasonably expensive wedding gift. His hair is also a mess. He is putting visible distance between him and the man on the bench. He goes out but doesn't drink. He doesn't step in to help the woman being physically assaulted. Time will be marked by a ton of changes for him.
Petty Alert - This man has played a good dad multiple times, but to me, he will remain Kinn's manipulative ass father who pits beta fish against each other, so kudos to him for playing that character so well, that I feel nothing for him here. NOTHING!
Pisaeng is casually cool. I'm sure Kawi could've said that he did like him, and Pisaeng would have taken it as a compliment, but turned Kawi down very nicely with a simple, "I'm flattered, but you aren't my type." Fluke was a good choice.
The idea that Kawi is going to change Pisaeng's life as much as he will change his own is pleasing to me.
Oh, look how quickly Kawi became a sugar baby using Pisaeng's money to treat himself after Pisaeng winked at him from the dj booth.
Why are y'all laughing and holding hands when a group of dangerous men are chasing you?
But that means they will be laying on the grass next week already.
WHAT?! I was wondering who Pisaeng had, and he openly admitted to having Kawi, but . . .
OH SHIT!
I planned to watch this regardless, but now I definitely don't trust it. This is NOT JittiRain's style. No secrets! No secret identity! Pisaeng being open, honest, and direct?! I'm terrified now. What's going to be the hold up? What's the deal that is going to hinder the plot?
Or is this show finally going to do what the last five couldn't? Will it actually make sense?
