ahhhhHHHHHHH nothing will ever upset me more than the difference between ban in season 1 to the last episode of 7ds. Obviously he's a horrible person but I am 100% convinced the reason why him and meliodas aren't as close by the end, goe and 4kota is mostly because of how ban treats Lancelot. Meliodas, while not a great person, is an INCREDIBLE father, same with Elizabeth as a mother, and ban treating Lancelot like absolute shit and being such a deadbeat (same with Elaine kinda) must be unbelievably frustrating to meliodas considering ban was such a great friend to him. I really don't think that ban and Elaine should've had kids (despite the obvious) because I feel like they very much fall into the roles of cool aunt and uncle rather than responsible parents who actually care about their son, shown in the grudge of Edinburgh when Elaine and ban are talking about Lancelot and ban brushes Elaine off she when shows MILD concern towards where Lancelot has been for MONTHS. I really really hate this plot line and I know it was probably vital for the story line but I really would've preferred if ban didn't have kids and was the cool uncle and had his redemption like that rather than him being a deadbeat dad

I'm so so so unbelievably excited for the new final destination movie and it looks really good especially the deaths but I'm so mad that it defies the entire plot in the second movie about adding a new life and how it breaks the chain, how are you gonna have like 3 kids and 12 grandkids just for death to randomly decide to attack the grandkids and kids, that's the entire reason why they went looking for Isabella in the second one, because the coroner told them that adding a new life would break the chain and Isabella was pregnant. Idk maybe I'm over thinking it but if I can notice the plot holes then surely the directors or writers or anyone else ever could've noticed it??

I will sit here and gush for a moment because the love I have for Rian, especially his arc dealing with Mira’s death is unmatched. I may be a Stonegrot stan but watching this character witness his love’s death, then witness what is essentially the remnants of her soul get defiled, then to have the entirety of his own kind blame him for her murder, then watch the last piece he has of her which he carried and kept safe like it was the most precious thing imaginable finally get consumed too, and to relive her death every time he had to show someone the truth because that was more important— AAA

There’s so much more to why I just adore this guy. But his arc with Mira and finally having to let go of her Essence is, for me anyway, what lead to him staying in that carriage and turned him from a son living in his Captain’s shadow to the hero who became the face of the Resistance. It’s such a beautifully written hero’s journey that I could clearly sit here writing paragraphs for daysss 😩👏👏 The way he speaks about Mira to Maudra Fara too, fuck me it has me in ugly tears every time and I have watched this show more times than I care to admit. PROTECT.👏 HIM. 👏

TLDR if you haven’t seen this show what are you doing literally I beg you go watch this masterpiece and the og film ok I go now bye bye.
