hi hiiii! 💗 It's been a while again, no?

I know I haven't been posting much, but don't worry! I'm not dead (or not yet at least?)

This is just a small update that yes, I'm still here! :3 just that university's been keeping me busy these days — not to mention exams are coming up soon so I gotta lock in completely if I want to survive 💪💪

But other than that I'm doing alright. Still Lies of P obsessed as ever so I won't be leaving the community anytime soon teehee

The statue of Madonna della Pietà

I'm positive this has been talked about before. But I always thought it was interesting how the Lady of Mercy statue was referenced from Our Lady of Piety created by Michaelangelo. A representation of Saint Mary after taking Jesus down from the cross.

I already know Pinnochio has a lot of biblical and artistic undertones. But I really like how the game devs has brought many catholic symbolism that isn't overwhelming to the game. You kind of have to have a keen eye to spot it. In this case I wonder if they meant to have P symbolise Jesus, Sophia as Mary. But that's for an even longer discussion.

Art history is something I've always had a fascination with and I love finding references to famous artists, not just in games but in movies as well. Something that gives this game more meaning than what's on the surface is something I love looking for.

Just something I like to think about.❤️

Quick P sketch this morning

I have to do this again. I know the last time I tried to take a break, I ended up making a whole bunch of good artworks but I think this time, I have to take a real break.

Without get too personal, I have stuff going on at home that's taking a toll on me mentally and I can't seem to keep myself focused. As much as I want to draw and get more stuff out for you guys, I just don't have the mental capacity or the patience for not just drawing but for anything right now.

I'm really sorry and I hope I don't lose follower for this but sometimes we all need to step back and rest.

Normally for me, all I need is a few days. When I get in these bumps in the road, I can usually deal with it and move on. I know I'm a tough lady. We will see how I feel in a few days ya.

And sometimes when I do come back to drawing after a break, I dish out some bangers. So hopefully that will happen this time. I still have a lot of plans for our puppet puppy that I want to get started on but I also don't want to mess it up because lack of focus. I think we all have been in this position before ya.

Just know that I'm still going to be here. I'll be reblogging everyones beautiful artwork and I definitely don't plan on leaving the LoP community anytime soon.

I haven't played LoP in about 3 months. Oh I how I've missed my wee lamb!!!😭❤️

Been going through a tough time lately and it's putting a damper on my motivation to draw so why not start a new game on a new file. Sometimes we all need to surround ourselves with our comforts to make us happy. And this lamb is my comfort.

"Frustrating game to ease the anxiety? Dats weirr!!" I mean...have you seen P? 💁‍♀️

Sorry for the lazy poses. Again, this is new file. Lamb has NOTHING so no gestures. No fancy pants weapon. No blue bloods coat and gray hair!!😭

Here is my drawing that I made for my husband so far!!

Magnolias! He loves magnolias so instead of getting a tree that we have no where to plant, I'll make him magnolia instead. I was going to color it but the color pencils weren't working for me and I'm not going to go buy different ones because art supplies are expensive. I thrive in black and white anyway.

I'm not done with this yet as I was going to add some scrapbook sticker things to it. Make it all colorful and pretty. Throw it in a picture frame and bada bing, I'll call it done. Scrap book sticker shopping will have to wait until May.

So I can get back to drawing that cute robot babe tonight!! Yay!!

Went to art store to get 5H pencil.

I got kneaded eraser, color pencil, new eraser square, fine tip ink pens, sketchbook (yes, another one).

Did I get the 5H pencil? No. It was the whole reason why I went there and I completely forgot.😑

Good morning, friends!

I just want to let you know my LoP fanarts are going to be posted a little slower than usual as my main focus right now is making something for my husband for our 11 year anniversary next month.

My husband playfully complained some weeks ago that I never draw anything for him. Well, he's getting something now.😂
