THREE: Rincon.

Took the photos for this one in a familiar, hollow valley as the waterfull rushed by. This was the first time I noticed hundreds of swallow nests lining the river walls.

TWO: Aeolian.

1. (In Geology) - Describes materials formed, weathered, eroded, deposited by, or related to, the actions of the wind.

Through the process of erosion over time, this was the next layer of which this series started to take better shape. I could make these textures a cohesive form.

ONE: Goblins.

1. (In Geology) [Slang] - A tall, thin spire of rock formed by erosion.

An exploration in texture; first in a series of eight. There are these big stones just scattered out in the country, ones with strange forms. My friend told me the wildland firefighters call them "goblins."
