Analysis on Character Strength
The VIA Survey tells a lot about my personality. It shows that my top character strength is kindness. I thought of myself as a kind person but I didn’t know that it’s on the number one of the list. Maybe it’s because I always help a friend even if it’s out of my way. My friends even tease me that I never get mad. Well, I do. But even if I did, I’d still be the kind me like nothing happened. Anger is an emotion I mastered controlling. I am kind too even to people who are undeserving. I think, I’m the most patient person who deals with “bad” people. Because I remember, when I was a kid, I am not so nice too but there are few people who dealt with the behavior we have. And so I thought, people can still change for the better if you just believe in them and be patient to them. Second on my list is spirituality. I am a Preacher’s Kid and I grew up in church. But that’s not the reason for my spirituality. There are lots of things this world has to offer, but I only found the real joy in Christ. It is an unexplainable joy serving God. The one that even if you’re tired, you still do it anyway. Even if it conflicts with your school schedule, you still make time for it. There, my heart is full. Also life may be tough, but I know He is in control of everything and his grace keeps me going. Other character strengths such as fairness, prudence, gratitude, appreciation of beauty, hope, forgiveness, honesty and the like follows right after I learned spirituality. Last on my list are love and bravery. I thought at first, “why was it listed last?” Then I come up with the thought that I am really not an expressive person and a very vocal person that if I love someone, I’ll tell him. I show my love to someone on ways that are unconventional. I teach kids in our village in Tarlac. But I don’t tell them directly I love them, what I do instead is tease them. Bravery— i really have a hard time telling people what I feel. Most of the time, I do this because I feel like I’m becoming a burden to other people when I tell them what I truly feel, sadness, for example. I feel like I can pass to them a bad energy that’s why I just refuse to tell. Now, I am slowly learning to be more open of my feelings specially to those who really care for me.

Essay on College Uneducation
Is it conceivable that our school training may "uneducate" as opposed to instruct? We as a whole have faith in advanced education; else we ought not be in the University. In the meantime, school instruction may manufacture or crush, lead, or misdirect. Here are some points why it is said powerful. Book Worship. It is in this way that a significant number of our understudies give up their uniqueness to the course book and lose their claim—which is to have an independent mind. Furthermore, when they endeavor to shape their very own judgment, they become hypercritical. Except if an understudy builds up the propensity for autonomous and sound thinking, his school training is a serious hoax. Proficient Philistinism. Most understudies make proficient productivity the most important thing in the world of school instruction. They have set their hearts after ending up exceedingly prepared legal counselors, specialists, designers, educators, and agriculturists. I will not stop to ask into the topic of how much fault ought to be laid at the entryway of the resources of the University for this poisonous float toward undue and exorbitant specialization. That such an inclination exists is irrefutable, however we never delay to consider the consequences, the expense! The Jading Dullness of Modern Life. I may state in passing that the instruction of the more seasoned age is in this regard far better than our own. Our more seasoned compatriots state, with reason, that the new training does not legitimately develop the heart as the old instruction did. Misinformed Zeal. Our way of thinking of life is in risk of getting to be restricted and mean since we are habituated to think completely as far as material prosperity. Obviously we should be reasonable. An opportunity to do this assignment isn't after however before school graduation; for, when all is said and done, the entirety and substance of advanced education is the individual definition of what life is for, with uncommon preparing in some propelled line of human learning all together that such an actual existence recipe might be executed with the most extreme adequacy. "Uneducated" Juan de la Cruz as Teacher. He is frequently called unmindful, yet he is the most astute of the insightful, for he has unwound the secrets of life. His is the bliss of the man who knows the whys of human presence. In difficulty, his apathy is past encomium. His affection for home, so straightforwardly loyal, is the firm establishment of our social structure. What's more, his nationalism has been tried and discovered genuine. All in all, I will say that I have seen among a significant number of our understudies certain disturbing indications of school uneducation, and a portion of these are: absence of free judgment just as adoration for sophistry, due to the love of the printed page and the hot amassing of undigested information; the stifling of the sensitive feeling of the excellent and the radiant, by virtue of overspecialization; and disregard of the detailing of a sound way of thinking of life because of inordinate accentuation on expert preparing.

The Saved
Excruciating screams can be heard
amongst the sheep's herd
A creature so docile is murdered.
Snatched away from the shepherd
his brothers mourned.
But the lambs never feared.
For they trust their lord shepherd
that He'd shield them from anything.
And if their fallen brother only believed.

The Moon’s Trap
O'er the seas lies
a world of surreal beauty
unseen by the eyes
Legend has it all
that once in fullmoon
it blooms light that serves as call
Call to the mortal
to dive in the trap and fall
fade when the moon's gone

The End of Fantasy
The cold creeps throughout the land. White crystals envelopes the ground as they hit one by one. Truly, a sight to behold. As the reaches their mouth little did they know fate runs through every season.
Frozen, the cold took away everything. Admist the pitter patter of the snow a majestic creature lay in despair, losing hope to ever find shelter to keep her warm in the cold winter. In an attempt to ease the cold she then spreads her feathers of color to reveal a sublime beauty that one could only imagine as something out of a mythology. Out of desparation she gathers her might and finds something to quench her thirst or even fill up her empty grumbling stomach. If only fate permits she whispered. And little did she know fate permitted it. She now stood upon a well adorned with blooming flowers admist the endless winter as if spring came early there she found the purest of waters and when she was just about to take a sip through her lovely beak there she saw a creature as majestic as she was. A creature that stood strong admist the harsh conditions a fur that is as shiny as silk and a pair of enchanting horns that gives him an aura of strength. There they stared at each other with wonder and enchantment. There they stood and without any words. They felt that Magic occured. Together they clasped the water upon their lips and together a change that fate permitted occurred mirroring the changes on each others eyes. The deer became a prince and the peahen became a princess. The song of two love birds warmed the hearts of everyone. As the spring came the two met by the magic of well and will of fate spent the beauty of each spring morning together gazing upon the clear skies and upon therays of the sun as it melts away the gloominess of the winter days. They could only hope that together lasts. They can only hope.
As every single drop of winter melted away there came the heat of the new season quenching the thirst of loneliness there they spent the summer nights together feeling each other's warmth despite the heat. They can only hope that together lasts they can only hope.
Tap tap tap dried orange leaves gently falls creating a scenery to behold covering the land with the gloom of fading light and replacing the chirp of the birds with the princess' cry for their fantasy has now come to a fall and it prologues the coming of the cold. The fantasy that two different creatures from two different worlds hascome to an end for the magic dried out and once again the bird and the peahen came back to what they used to be. Fate permitted them to meet but never to grow old in each other's arms. Facing the reality of a temporary dream there came the deer galloping through the woods. Little did he know that this would be his last sight of the sublime beauty of his beloved for there are some who covet his head to hang it as a trophy of valor.
Bang! It goes out red dripped and dropped his silky brown fur turned dark red. Bang! And another shot was heard by the peahen as life gently slips upon the grasp of the deer. Worried forher beloved she then rushes towards to see her man lifeless and about to be taken away by his murderer. Her sight began to blur with tears. Unable to process what just happened she charges without fear and bang! There another gunshot was heard taking the life of two majestic creatures to be together in who knows where.
And as the murderer carried the bodies of both creatures the man came about the well where it all began clasping the water onto his lips there came two drops of tears from each of the creatures eyes as if thanking the well for the gift and whispering one final wish. A wish that hopes to be granted that if they were born again can't they be the two love birds that sing welcoming the coming of the spring.

Aladdin’s Adventure
Aladdin travels the world with Jasmine using a boat with magical powers. A magic boat that they can use on land, sea, and air. As they travel the world, Aladdin holds the hand of Jasmine and sings a song for her, "I can show you the world, shining, shimmering splendid, tell me, princess, now when did you last let your heart decide? I can open your eyes —" Jasmine puts her hand into the mouth of Aladdin and stares into his eyes as if she's giving him a stop-singing-my-head-hurts-in-your-voice look. Jasmine breaks the silence, "Sorry, I'm not in the mood to listen to your song right now and besides you don't need to show me the world cause we are here in Walt Disney, and you don't need to open my eyes cause it's already opened, duh" She said as she opens her eyes widely to Aladdin. Aladdin swallows his saliva as he swallows his embarrassment on what just happened between them. As they travel to the sea, the boat just goes on its way on an island and went there. Suddenly, Jasmine saw a stone shining beside the beach, she gets it, and then the ground shakes as if the island got angry by what Jasmine did as she took the stone. Then, they saw a woman walking towards them, looking very angry, she stares at Jasmine like she's saying that she-did-a-murder-on-the-beach look, so Jasmine stares back giving the woman i-am-innocent look. The woman gets closer to Jasmine and Jasmine's hands start shaking as she began to get so nervous, "d-don't get closer to me!" Jasmine shouts but the woman still walks closer to her, stands in front of her, grabs her hand, and took the stone into it. The woman stares at the stone, it looks like she's checking if the stone is fine, then the woman look at Jasmine who is now very shocked by what happened, "I am Moana." Jasmine looks at her for 7 seconds, and when she came back to her senses "i-is that so? H-hi, I am Jasmine." Jasmine offers her hand that is now shaking and Moana grabs it as if they are now being friendly and smiling to each other. "E-eh-hem" Aladdin interrupts them "I am Aladdin, nice meeting you Moana, by the way, what is that stone? Why does it shine?" Moana shows them the stone and sings "I've been staring at the edge of the water, 'long as I can remember, never really knowing why, I wish, I could be the —" Jasmine cuts her singing "shhhh, what's up with songs this day?" she said like she is very irritated "let's go to another place now Aladdin." Jasmine walks into the boat and Aladdin followed her, they stopped from walking when Moana shouts "w-wait! I just wanna say something before you both leave our island, and for taking care of the stone, THANK YOU!" Aladdin and Jasmine smiled at her and Aladdin sing "What can I say except you're welcome" Jasmine looks at Aladdin like she can punch his mouth at the very moment "No problem and you're welcome" Jasmine said to Moana and they get inside the boat.
Aladdin and Jasmine continue travelling the world. It's a night when they are now flying in the air while staring at the clouds, stars, and moon. They are now sleeping as the boat travels in the air and suddenly a drop of rain falls into Aladdin's forehead which causes him to wake up, then Jasmine also wakes up when she felt the rain into her skin. The boat automatically gets into the land. Aladdin saw a tower "oh, wow, this place is so wonderful" he sighed, Jasmine puts her hand into her mouth looking so amazed as if it is their first time to see a tower. They used the boat to get them in the tower for they cannot reach the window to get inside and they can't find any door or stairs to get in. As they walk inside the tower, a loud sound startled Jasmine, "bang!" then Aladdin suddenly fell in the floor, Jasmine was shocked, she runs towards him, and someone poked her shoulder, she looked beside her to see who is it, then she saw a girl carrying a frying pan with a very long hair, before the girl hit Jasmine with her frying pan, Jasmine already fell on the floor with Aladdin, she is shocked not by the girl but by the hair. Aladdin and Jasmine wake up and they saw a huge long hair tied in their body; they are now sitting in the floor back to back. They saw the girl sitting in the window staring into them like she is planning to chop their bodies and cook them in her frying pan. Then the girl walks toward them "I am Rapunzel" she said "...and who are the both of you and why are you here!?" she shouted. Aladdin and Jasmine panicked as if it is the end of their lives now. Jasmine plead "I am Jasmine and we just get in here because we wonder how it feels to live in a tower but we have no other wrong motives why we are here, so please forgive us" Aladdin looked at Rapunzel "I am Aladdin and I don't care if you will kill us now but can you please explain to us how'd you get this huge long blonde hair? Maybe I'll die not because of you killing us but because of this thing!" Aladdin points the hair of Rapunzel as he can't believe how that thing could happen into this world. "First thing, I don't know who both of you truly are. Second, why do I need to answer your question, and Third, I don't care if both of you die here, right now!" Rapunzel threatens them so Aladdin and Jasmine shouted for help "stop! I don't have plans to kill the both of you cause I don't want to put blood into my hands, do I look like a killer to you? They both swayed their heads like telling her no. Rapunzel walks toward the window "is the boat outside there is yours?" Aladdin answered "Yes and that boat is magical —" he stopped as he realized that he is saying the secret of the boat, "what? Magical? That sounds good, I believe in magic and I wonder how magical your boat is" Rapunzel stares at her frying pan "...if you can make me borrow that MAGICAL BOAT of yours, then you both can leave this place peacefully." Rapunzel smiles at them "deal?" Aladdin thinks of it deeply, "okay, you can borrow it just for a day, and we can stay here in your tower, show us the stairs for us to get down easily when we want to walk outside and eat the foods in here when we are hungry." Jasmine smiles as she thinks it, "deal" Rapunzel said, she untied her hair into them and the three of them talk with each other as if they are getting to know each other. Early in the morning, they already woke up, Rapunzel showed them the stairs, the food and everything they need. Aladdin talked to the boat as if he's having a serious conversation with a magical thing using magical words right now. Rapunzel is very happy because it's been a long time when she got out into her tower. Aladdin and Jasmine are so grateful that they went into this land and saw a wonderful place in this world. It is 7 in the evening and Rapunzel on her way home and she suddenly realized that she is lost; she doesn't know how to get back into the tower, until she saw a big house not so far away from her place. She planned to get there in the house, she saw a light inside the window and sing "And at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted, and at last I see the light, and it's like the sky is new, and it's warm and real and bright, and the world has somehow shifted, all at once everything looks different —" a girl sing with her "...now that I see you" Rapunzel searches where the voice came from, then someone taps her back "you have a good voice, I am Ella and you are?" Rapunzel looks at her "I am Rapunzel." Ella looks at her "maybe you are lost, how did you get that very long hair?" Rapunzel is about to answer but they heard a shout from the forest, Rapunzel looks at Ella "it is a long story why I have this long hair, but I think we need to check first who shouts from there, I think they need help." Rapunzel and Ella went into the forest and they saw Aladdin and Jasmine, they are lost in the forest like Rapunzel. Aladdin and Jasmine introduce themselves to Ella. They entered the house of Ella. "I have a favor to ask, can I use that boat because I need to attend a royal ball at the palace." The four of them went into the palace with Ella, but Ella is the only one who went into the palace. Time passed and it is already midnight and then they saw Rapunzel running towards them with the prince. The prince introduces himself to them "I am the prince, I don't care what will happen to my kingdom, I just want to be with Ella my Cinderella for the rest of my life, and she wishes to travel the world with all of you, I am willing to travel the world with all of you as long as I am with my Ella, are you accepting her wish as my wish too" all of them in the boat smiled at the prince and Ella "yes, let's travel the world together" all of them are happy. They travel the world together and they also went into the island and took Moana with them. All of them were so happy and Aladdin whispered into Jasmine "don't be a killjoy right now or I am going to get you out here with the old and disgusting carpet to bring you back into the palace" Jasmine wants to talk back but Aladdin already put his hands into Jasmine's mouth, he said "don't be upset, I am just joking, and I am just warning you to get your ears ready, especially your heart, my dear" Aladdin winks at her and he sings "A whole new world, a new fantastic point of view, no one to tell us no, or where to go, or say we're only dreaming" then all of them sing, also Jasmine sing together with them "...A whole new world, a dazzling place I never knew, but when I'm way up here, it's crystal clear, that now I'm in a whole new world with you."
And they lived happily ever after. The end.

Autobiography
My name is Gracelle Verzosa Salazar. I am nineteen years old. I was born in Tarlac City, my home town. I was raised there by my family. I was very close to them. In fact, they we're my number one best friends. They were very strict to me. Sometimes I complain about it, but most of the time, I thank them for being like it because I know that they're only being very protective. And I'm not sad I'm missing some of the fun the social life has to offer. I have the best peer teachers ever had.
I had the most amazing childhood. I have many good childhood memories- childhood friends and places. Even up to now, I could still remember, but sometimes I wonder if it really happen or it was all in my head. I have a theory that when people grow up they become total strangers with the memories of one of the best days of your life.
Since the summer in fourth grade, I started swimming lessons. I love swimming from the very start. I even thought of the pool as my habitat. Right after the swimming lessons, in the fifth grade, I already joined Tarlac City Private Educational Institution (TCPEIA) Sports. My school doesn't really focus on individual sports. We had lack of training. We only trained a week before the competition. But winning is not my ultimate goal, I came there to swim because it is what I love most. My first time in competing is unforgettable. I got a silver medal despite everything. In the sixth grade I was even asked to go to the regional competition in swimming. A thing I've been waiting for, yet I refused to come. It is one of the most regretful things I've done. I sacrificed my swimming because I'm a graduating student that time whose running for salutatorian. I hope I could have chosen the other way around. Swimming has always been my passion. I didn't swim my whole high school years to focus on my academics, but that didn't stop me. I still swim in my past time until now. I still do my routine. I still do lap swims. And I could never get enough of it. I will always go back.
My Dad is a registered nurse, but he gave it up to become a missionary pastor. So, all my life, I grew up in the church. I always attend the Sunday services. It is a routine to me too. Until summer in ninth grade, in a youth summer camp, I surrendered my life to the Lord. Little did I know that growing up in church was my preparation to fully understand the plan of God in my life and to recognize that real joy can only come from Him and the ministry. I am now holding the music ministry in our church, together with my sister. She is the head musician and I lead the choir.
