If Lightning McQueen was turned into a Glamrock animatronic: Lore

In this AU, the Lightning McQueen animatronic from Disney’s Hollywood Studios gets decommissioned, because the show LMQ’s Racing Academy isn’t bringing much interest and fans as it used to. So Disney decided to shut down the show and decommission McQueen. Before McQueen could’ve been taken apart by Disney engineers, the company Fazbear Entertainment intervened by purchasing McQueen. Disney in need of money decided to compromise with Fazbear CO, by using McQueen as a Collab with Disney for Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizza Plex. Disney shipped McQueen off to the PizzaPlex, where Fazbear engineers rebuilt him and redesigned him.

At first, McQueen barely had an AI, since he was only programmed to do the show and that was it. However, Fazbear built an AI chip for him with the personality similar to movie McQueen aka canon films McQueen, since he wouldn't be strapped down on a stage anymore. Like he was in his attraction. Instead, he would be officially interacting with both his fellow animatronics and children.

McQueen was rebuilt with new upgrades such as actual separate robotic eyes that are not a computer screen. He was given a new voice box that matches with his canon voice. An actual built-in jawline with two sharp fangs to match the aesthetic of the other Glamrocks such as Freddy and Roxanne. Actual joints in his axels for mobility. He already contained an electrical engine beforehand, but they added the ability to charge with a cable that connects to his gas tank. Surprisingly, Fazbear gave him a new paint job as well to match with the PizzaPlex.

He has a black top hat similar to that of Freddy’s with a light blue ribbon tied in the middle. He also was given a black bowtie under his front bumper that seems to be permanently stuck on. His paint job however, tends to shift colors depending on the lighting of the environment. His paint job is heavily inspired by the Daycare Attendant ( Sun and Moon ).

Since McQueen doesn't have an official area in the PizzaPlex, Fazbear decided to pair McQueen and Roxy in her raceway. Of course, Roxy wasn't too keen on the idea of a Disney mascot invading her "territory." McQueen tends to switch shifts between Roxy Raceway and the Superstar Daycare throughout the week. McQueen helps keep the children entertained by playing racing games with Sun. While at the same time, supervising the children. Making sure children don't stray too far away from them! McQueen during nap time, parks himself in the center of the room letting children lay on top of him or on the side of him. His electrical engine tends to Pur quietly, making his body warm and slightly shake, letting children relax and fall asleep in his embrace!

*Paintjob when Lights on/Daytime:

Bright candy red similar to his old paint job with a bright yellow and orange sun/moon logo on the center of his hood similar to the face of the Daycare Attendant.

Functional head and brake lights but rarely used in the daytime.

Stickers surrounding the sides of his front bumper. A small sliver reflective lightning bolt sticker on each side of his fenders. A large neon blue lightning bolt decal with black zebra stripes running down.

Lightyear tires with red and orange tinted rims.

* Paintjob when Lights off/ Nighttime:

Same candy red, now with black eyelids making his eyes light up brighter in the dark.

His hood logo shifts into the Moon phase of the decal, dark grey on one side and black on the other, the sun rays are no longer visible, instead a navy blue nightcap is present with neon yellow stars.

His top hat blue ribbon shifts to a navy blue.

Headlights are most likely used, but apparently McQueen can see in the dark…so…idk

Stickers are still there, just harder to see.

Mini lightning bolt sticker is still there.

Larger lightning bolt shifts to the same navy blue with neon yellow stars as well.

The tires and rims remain the same as well.

His eyes glow brighter in the dark, with his light blue pupils glowing brighter than usual.

So that's all for now! Don't worry more lore will be coming soon, I might redesign the Glamrocks and the Daycare Attendant! But who knows! But that is all. Adios!!

Hola Hola todos!! Gracie here again! In a random burst of motivation, I thought what would Lightning McQueen look like if he was in FNAF and boom this was created! I based Lightning's designs on the IRL Lightning McQueen animatronic from Disney world in Hollywood Studios and the withered animatronics from FNAF 2 and Security Breach Ruin.

I made two designs for Lightning, the first one being if he was in proper working condition and the second being if he was left to rot and withered for many years. You guys could let me know which one is your favorite!

Little lore about FNAF universe Lightning:

* Lightning McQueen is an animatronic race car who loves children.

* He is located in Disneyland California Adventure in Cars Land along with his best friend Tow Mater and his protege Cruz Ramirez.

* He is known to do meet-and-greets in front of his girlfriend's office at the Cozy Cone Motel.

* He tends to take children on little joyrides around a small race track where other children and guests can race him in their own go-karts. Of course, he doesn't go to his full max speed for safety regulations, but he still loves the thrill and the screams of joy of his guests.

* Lightning is equipped with a real V8 hybrid engine and has the ability to drive around on his own. And he can talk with a voice box built inside. He also has a jaw and teeth to properly speak. Lightning instead of needing to drink gas like in his movies, he instead is electric. He has an electric station for him to be charged at night when the park closes. He regularly gets maintenance checkups and paint job touches. Around holidays or special occasions, Disney's cast members give him and Mater new paint jobs. His eyes is a computer windshield with cameras that give Lightning the ability to see like in the films.

Lore about Withered Lightning:

* After many years without incidents, Lightning slowly becomes unnaturally aggressive and easily angry with guests. To the point, where cast members have to constantly supervise him, in case he becomes aggressive and has to be contained.

* Unfortunately, there have been incidents where Lightning has stepped on a father's feet intentionally after the father disregarded him and disrespected his son. The cast members have become concerned that Lightning might react worse and intentionally try to run someone over. They knew that it was unnatural for Lightning, since Lightning was programmed to be cool and relaxed.

* Several technicians had to come and check on Lightning, in hopes of finding out what was causing Lightning's radical behavior. But unfortunately, they couldn't find an answer or reason.

* After much debate, the Disney higher-ups decided to take Lightning away from the public eye and to be replaced by a remote controlled drive-around life-sized robot version of Lightning. When Lightning found out, he was furious. He nearly attacked a nearby cast member before he was shut down. Lightning was unfortunately scraped and taken apart for parts to be put on a newer animatronic version of Lightning.

* Lightning was locked away in a Disney parts warehouse far away from the parks where other animatronics don't work anymore. He hasn't been turned on, since...until now...

And that is it so far, I haven't really come up with Lightning's full fnaf lore, because I don't want to imagine him attacking and unliving security guards... I will leave it up to the audience to see what could be the reason why Lightning became aggressive in the first place! But that is all for now and I'll see y'all later! Adios!

Can't Pixar just make a crossover movie like this? Like it's not that hard!! Pixar listen to your fans if you're out of ideas for Toy Story 5! Just add Lightning McQueen as a toy in the movie and boom the movie will be a success!

Btw been wanting to see someone do this! I had this idea for the longest time as another au! Glad someone finally did it! Amazing job with this drawing! Definitely want to see more of this au! I do feel bad for Lightning! He needs some therapy from Buzz! I just want to squish him so badly in my arms and comfort him!

Whelp, there's Doc dragon now. And there's honestly a lot more I wish I could've shown, but that's for another time.

Some notes/headcanons

- his big grandpa wings can cover almost anyone, and it's low-key the most comforting thing ever. Very few people can they have the honor of being covered though, as he's not one to be physically affectionate

- lightning may or may have not had the chance to feel Doc's wings. And he may or may not have to had play it cool and not melt into the embrace

- he used to work jobs that were physically active in his youth, which contributed to his strength

- would practice racing with friends or from flying between home and work

- got into trouble with his friends, but he's a good lad in general

- nowhere as rude as mcqueen as a young dragon, but he was still pretty confident and liked to flaunt his talents

- the crash that changed him forever broke his wing, and did other forms of damage (hence his ear and horn amongst other things...)

- though years have passed and he works as the RS doctor everyone knows and loves, he would sometimes sneak out at night to hone his flying skills once more

Idk how to feel about this one, but I made Dragon! Mater....

Some notes/headcanons to go with this:

- he's a lot stronger than he looks

- he hasn't told anyone how exactly he lost his chestplates (hood)

- Mater (in general) seems like the guy who'd let you hang from his hook/tail/arms

- since he's so tough, he takes it upon himself to find whomever is lost and in need in the lonely desert

- he's just a helpful guy in general

- absolutely loves kids

- despite his size and strength, he is easily spooked by Frank and the supernatural (Frank may or may not have something to do with his missing chest plates...)

- he used to be blue, but since living in Radiator Springs, the desert has left him "sand stained" and his scales have worn down to their current color

Idk what else to add to this, other than I hope I got Mater right..
