The campaign to reference on research page
https://parentingplace.nz/courses
Parenting place is a site that provides information on the site as well as over the phone/in person coaching for parenting. Parenting Place inspires my campaign because it allows such ease of access to parents who need the help.
Visuals:
Parenting Place has a simple approach to their visuals. It is very direct and clear. Every piece of important information is clearly put into sections for each age and situation.
Photography is their main form of communication. These photographs are usually accompanied by blocks of saturated colours. These colours give off a friendly and supportive community type of tone.
Other research to include is moodboards and https://watermarkcreative.co/portfolio-item/c-a-n-create-action-now/

data and reference for the project document
https://zero-to-three-review.herokuapp.com/resources/1424-national-parent-survey-overview-and-key-insights
Of note is that while they understand the importance of the first 5 years of a child’s life, 58% of parents find this notion both motivating and terrifying to varying degrees. 1 in 4 parents feel equally terrified and motivated.
This first point outlines the main point of the campaign which is providing help to new parents who feel lost and are finding the task of being a parent daunting.
83% of parents from all backgrounds agree that good parenting can be learned.
69% of parents say that if they knew more positive parenting strategies they would use them.
54% of parents wish they had more information about how to be a better parent.
This section helps show that parents are willing to learn, its just that they can struggle to find the help they need at times.
Almost half (48%) of all parents don’t feel they are getting the support they need when they feel stressed. Moms are more likely (57%) to say they have inadequate support than dads (39%).
This statistic helps re-enforce the idea that parents dont have the support they need.
My research methods were searching the web using the keywords and phrases such as “statistics on parenting”, “parents needing support”, “parenting methods” and “Parenting communities”

Poster ideas
Id like to ask for some ideas from Paul and see if I can convey my message more creatively.
Currently im just trying to convey the sense of community and support the audience will get from the campaign. The first iteration shows a character that represents Gen Z new parents walking alone. He mentions that he feels lost and doesnt feel like he has the help he needs. The next panel shows a bunch of other parents suddenly pop out of hidden places and charge towards the main character. The third panel shows everyone huddled around the main character showing that theyve brought him into the community and providing the help he needs through the TopParentingGuide Community.

colour change
I realized my visual elements needed more purpose to them. I felt that the colour pink had so much more purpose than orange because pink is the colour associated with love, affection and passion which is a crucial aspect of parenting
