ABSOLUTE FANTASTIC!!

I always feel like I gotta add smth to drawings I post,,, hope you have a FANTASTIC day ehehhe

Whenever I see that post going around of Sebastian answering a fan’s question about Bucky’s backpack in CA:CW, and him answering they are full of notebooks of his fragmented memories, I focus on the word “Notebooks”.

NoteBOOKS??

You mean to tell me that Bucky, scared and alone in his shitty apartment in Romania, was hunched over writing down each and every memory, filling up MULTIPLE books? Or was each note book sorted ? One for the good memories, one for the bad, and one for the ugly. The thought of Bucky having a notebook, one he never dared to touch, maybe even with a lock, that he had to write down each kill, the torture, each horrible memory, hurts. The pages stained with tears, with blood. Barely legible. It KILLS me.

Do you think at the top of each page, he had what he thought the dates were, then in the back of his book was a makeshift timeline ? Quite literally piecing his past together ? Do you think, just in case he died, he had a spot in his notebook that was a written apology ? In between how many pages were there newspaper scraps, photographs, receipts ? Do you think he kept everything he could, just to keep tabs in case he ever lost his memory again ? How many times did he reread his notebooks ? How many times did he have to cross out words, tear out a page? How many times did he cry into the pages ? Are there spots where his hand writing is unreadable from his shaking ? God, Bucky Barnes you drive me insane with your tragedy. Marvel release the books NOW.

- Bucky Barnes Is Blind -

“Hydra has this brand new device they want to test, the one that allows a blind person to see (features include: thermal imaging, infrared, x-ray, etc.), can zoom in, focus, record and transmit whatever the person wearing it sees. So, why not test it on the Asset? It’s not like it’s difficult to blind someone; he’ll become deadlier, and watching his actions and controlling him will become even easier. What if he breaks out, though? Simple as well: plant an explosive in the device. Something tiny and unnoticeable. If compromised, the explosive will destroy the device and half of the Asset’s head. Foolproof.”

When Steve breaks Bucky’s programming in the helicarrier and it triggers the countdown, Bucky manages to hear it and tear the device off just in time before it blows up. He can’t escape blind, though. So he’s brought into the Tower.

Here’s a funny ugly weird bad PRACTICE :))

I followed this video while doing this! It’s so helpful like omg thanks!

Planning to do this with other actors (next one is Pedro Pascal ;3 ), but if you have any requests please throw em my way!!

And I invite you to do this exercise as well, take the whole minute to stare at the reference, and try to take only a minute to do those sketches

(I sometimes took some seconds extra but it’s because I wasn’t at all used to the quick-ness, and that’s fine! I hope with Pedro I get to do it in a better way 🥰)
