--{ not sure if anyone still follows this blog but I’ve decided to move iris onto my  multi-muse ! I think I’m going to be excluding the ship stuff that happened on this blog just because that rp partner doesn’t have that blog anymore and I haven’t been able to keep up contact with them aha but yeah !!

“W-Who else would I possibly want to think I’m adorable?” As long as she was good enough in his eyes, she didn’t care much for how others thought of her. Besides- She got embarrassed enough with just him complimenting her, she probably wouldn’t be able to handle others doing it as well-

“Is that so?” He speaks in the ancient tongue the gods spoke in – at least the Greeks, anyway. “Then I’m flattered it’s only me you’ll ever be adorable for, Iris~” After all, if she was ever cute for any other person, he’d have to do something about them, now wouldn’t he?

She flushed darkly, burrowing her face against him before whispering softly- “Am not-” She kind of switched over, but man-- It’d been a while since she had spoken these old words. “If I ever am, it’s only to and for you-” He was just silly and doting-

“Then it’ll be an eternity we’ll both remember.” He offers her a wink, soon leaning over to gently rest his temple against hers. “You really are adorable though, you know that right, Iris?” He adds just a bit of ancient Greek in there for her, to give her a reminder of their old days.

She giggled gently, covering her mouth ever so slightly. She then dropped her hand, reaching out to link fingers with his. “I’m ok with any eternity that I get to spend with you--” She’d be more than grateful for nothing more than his company, she didn’t need him to do anything super special.

“Don’t worry! I’ll do my best to contact him for you! And afterwards, we can travel to anyyyyyy place in the world you want to go! Any place! We can see all of it if you want too~” He offers a smile. “It’ll be an eternal honeymoon adventure~ How does that sound?”

“They’re so pretty-” She’s honestly so excited, because last year she sort of just ignored Easter, and it’s fun to learn about this cute mortal tradition!

“Of course~” He’ll have to head to one of those special human stores to get them though, probably.

“Let’s get lots!!” She wants to try everything- Even though she’s probably gonna think it’s too sweet and end up not being able to finish it--

“I suppose so? I’ll see what I can find for you.” His fiancee really was adorable. Someone help.

“C-Can we get candy anyway?” She wants to try the cutely egg-shaped candies..

“It’s a load of shit, literally. Don’t believe it.” He huffs. “Religions come and go — this one will too.”

“I-I’m sure he’ll be able to  make it-” She was kind of nervous, thinking about her son being there- But in a way, she felt like it would be nice. She felt like if he showed up, it’d really be confirmation that he was really ok with her getting a new husband right?? And he’d get another father figure-! One who’d hopefully be better than she and Zephyrus had ended up being.

“I’d like for my family to be there — but they won’t be… so the only one I’m really requesting is Pothos. I want to prove to him that I won’t abandon you, and that I’ll be by your side for the rest of eternity.” He had sworn to the younger god that he would protect his mother — and he wanted to prove it now.

Kisses her fiance's nose- "I love you so much-" She's been in such an affectionate mood lately..

And there he goes kissing her nose in return as well. “I love you too, Iris~ More than anything~”

She smiled, nodding agreeably. She guessed she’d really be ok with anyone they knew who said they wanted to show up- She hadn’t interacted with so many in so long, she wouldn’t mind being able to reestablish relationships through it. “Nobody special you want there?”

“Then that’s what we’ll do~ We’ll have lots of flowers and just us, Pothos, and whomever you’d like there.” He was sad his parents nor his brothers would be there — but someday, they’d show up again, and they’d be able to celebrate his marriage to Iris.

She decided to drop it. She didn’t want to bother getting upset about something like this when she’s supposed to be super happy right now.

She bit her bottom lip before smiling up at him. “I want you to be happy too--! I think lots of flowers and you will be good enough for me~” She really didn’t need anything else. Really, the flowers were optional too, but she loved flowers and it was springtime so-

“…” He would’ve delved into it, on why he had just disappeared, but gods that knew the winds, would know why he was gone in the first place. He turns his attention to her, sighing softly. 

“I want Iris to be happy most of all. You’ll be the woman I’ll be marrying, so…”

“Even Zephyrus-?” That was.. Odd. What happened? Didn’t he have a husband now- A husband and even children?? What’d happened..?

No. She didn’t have time to dwell on that, no matter how kind-hearted she was, she needed to focus on Eurus. On herself-- On them together. She bit her bottom lip softly, letting out a sigh. “My sisters would probably just make a ruckus-” Being the harpies they were.

She pressed lips against his gently before smiling softly. “I’m ok with just us if that’s what you prefer--” She wanted it to be a nice wedding for him to, you know.

“Hehe~” He was happy to hear that, thought the thought of inviting others made him grimace. “Mm… Boreas and Notus have vanished. I don’t know where they’ve gone… and Zephyrus… he’s gone too. I don’t feel their winds anymore. I don’t know where my parents are either.” 

He had no idea where his siblings had gone, but that didn’t mean they couldn’t invite anyone else. “Anyone else in mind?”

She wasn’t picky. Everything she needed was right in front of her, and honestly, she wanted it to be more about them than just her.

“I don’t care-- A-As long as I have you there, I don’t need anything else-- You’re already a dream-- I don’t need another event just to make it seem like a dream-” She’d never planned on falling in love again, thought then again- She’d never planned on falling out of love in the first place. 

She bit her bottom lip slightly. “M-Maybe we can try inviting other people to?” She knew she wanted his brothers to be there if they could, and maybe Hermes as well.

His smile fades though, replaced with a curious look. “Hey… where should we get married though? I don’t think anyone would come other then Pothos… but where would you like to be married, Iris? Any dream place you want to go?”

He was taking this seriously. He wanted her to be as happy as possible, and he wanted her to have a wedding to remember on top of that.
