A little venus fly trap and some pitcher plant in a monster plant. Though its roots can look like legs they don't walk in a normal manner, their roots creep them along like many worms. They can't run prey down but they might just be somewhere no one was expecting them the next day for a final surprise of its prey.

Reproduction style isn't attraction and all that, but the silly idea refused to go away. It might be fun in baby GINOs were colored like Yoshis at least.

I'm not really sure where I might stick this guy, but I feel like he's got some potential. Did you know Praying Mantis actually have bug feet hanging off the end of their iconic forelimbs? I didn't until I went looking for pictures, I always just imagined them as crabby-pincers, even though our garden used to attract them at decent sized.

Anyway, snake or dragon and spider and a bit of mantis to give him some more options than attacking with his face.

Wind World

Might be the obvious thing to do to make this one a gas giant, but it's a fun idea to work with. I admit it probably doesn't work with life as we know it on earth, but trying to come up with an ecosystem that has no ground to touch down on is something I've wanted to try for ages. I imagine there's even some difference in things living on upper layers where the atmosphere is somewhat like a terrestrial planet and then further down when things are starting to compress, so creatures in the depths have a little more buoyancy to work with but less light.

Silly Mash Up

I had gotten some ways into this at some point but dropped it. It's kind of galling that whole movies have started production and come out since I started this, but honestly that's kind of what happens when I try to be topical most of the time. I think it was Mario Kart Tour where Nintendo did a 'Bowser vs Donkey Kong' online contest thing about the time Godzilla vs Kong was coming out. It's been a while I don't remember perfectly. Anyway, it can still be filler while I try to figure out new stuff to make.
