Long ago

Before cookie kind was baked, a cackle of witches wandered too far.

Unlike the tales of creatures that would take them away to feast upon or to make them work labour. The creatures they instead found stole them away for entertainment.

Never getting more than a moment of rest they snapped. Pride fell to pleads and a deal was struck.

5 hollow shells were baked. Their dough tough to withstand the gruelling hours of constant performance yet soft enough to make no sound when travelling so as not to entice their captors' sibling species, The Listeners.

The watchers and Listeners blended their power, giving each a job in the natural cycle as to ground their power.

So that they would not fall from their command, lest they loose their powers.

The witches fled their eyes and ears.

They fled with the knowledge to bring their cookies to life.

The watchers, however, grew bored too soon. So they created more from the elements and animals.

Soon, the watchers and listers took too much control and corrupted them

Of the original 5

3 were sealed

1 was crowned

The final fled with their life behind them and memories blinding them.

The crowned is hunting the only remaining "sibling" of his. As he is the only threat to his rule.

In this AU Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla are not romantically shipped however in other AU's they are so whilst the animatic is not meant to portray them in a romantic way I may use this song for another AU I have in mind.

(Sorry if that is disappointing to yourself and others, but I will make a post clarifying why in this AU they are not romantically together.

I can also understand if you meant what you said from a platonic stance, but it did not come across that way to me. So sorry if I misinterpreted what you said/wrote)

Ink caps

Coprinopsis atramentaria or the "common ink cap" is what decorated the glorious Mother Spore. Whilst seen as an easy target, she carries her weapon disguised as a parasol similar to that of a larger parasola plicatilis or "pleated inkcap".

Found in the isolated mushroom village after the dark flour war, she healed the weakened cookies, a cap similar to the ones growing from those she healed appeared on her head.

And this cap being found under a collapsed building, it is nearly clear that the Mother Spore did not survive. We are only missing a body.

One of the many mysteries that remains of this fungi covered cookie is: "What did her eyes look like?"

They will sadly never know.

This AU I'm its simplest form is Pure Vanilla = Grian with changes to the lore of cookie run kingdom.
