#my photos#California#Crystal Springs Reservoir#trees#lichen#lace lichen#today I learned about lace lichen#it looks a bit like Spanish moss but it’s completely different#it’s a lichen while Spanish moss is a bromeliad#(and to the best of my knowledge Spanish moss doesn’t grow in California)#also lace lichen is the state lichen of California! which I think is very neat#California only state with a state lichen#(west coast best coast)#anyway I just thought that was very cool#thank you for your time in regards to my lichen-related tag essay
