A Fulfilling Party

WG Story by positivelybelly (Mia 🥰🍰)(on DA/IG) I can’t believe how fat they’ve gotten, Clarice thought. Their friends, Sarah and Emma, had always been curvy; being twins, they even had curves in a similar way. But when they arrived for their garden party this afternoon, Clarice barely recognized them between their double chins, their paunch bellies, and even their CHESTS. They were practically popping out!

I’m pregnant, she thought, so I have an excuse, but what’s theirs? Of course, Clarice had been blowing up, but it was completely normal, her doctor said. Her favorite dress tore a seam at the Johnsons’ luncheon last week; she almost died of embarrassment. But she couldn’t help it! The baby was being so demanding lately.

At least she had Victoria to keep her company. She was pregnant too, and she was just about the only one who understood what she was going through. “Don’t you dare feel guilty about eating that cake,” she would say, “lord knows you deserve it.” Victoria was wearing her new hat, the one with the rose on it – she looked so good in hats, Clarice thought. Where does she get that confidence?

Well, the party was nice at least, even if Sarah and Emma ate so much of the cake, Clarice nearly didn’t get thirds. Thankfully, this dress still fits, she thought (though I did just buy it last week, she almost said to herself, pushing the thought aside at the last minute). I’m not THAT big. Like the doctor said, it’s normal to swell in the last few months.

Clarice took it upon herself to finish the cake and fruit for the table. She didn’t want Sarah or Emma to be tempted as they were probably embarrassed as it was to be almost as big as a woman in the middle months of pregnancy. Besides, the baby needs it, she thought. Honestly, how big could this belly possibly get?
