21 Days of Kindness

Hey y'all, my 21st birthday is coming up and Jemm is allowing me to share with you my plans to share love and celebrate, so if you're not friends with me on facebook, here's the link to the event. What I am doing is 21 days of kindness to kick off the new year and this is the only place to find the full list :)

Jan 1st: Fresh start: apologize to someone you have wronged in the last year and seek to make amends.

Jan 2nd: Forgive someone who has wronged you, even if they have not apologized. Write them a letter of why you're hurt and burn it, if you'd like.

Jan 3rd: Donate clothes to Goodwill, Salvation Army, CITA, or another shelter

Jan 4th: Take someone you don't like out for lunch.

Jan 5th: Take your best friend out to lunch.

Jan 6th: Make it a point to show your parents that you love them and appreciate all of the sacrifices they made to get you to where you are today.

Jan 7th: Call or text your grandparents to let them know that you love them

Jan 8th: Find the hardest working person you know and ask if there is anything you can do to make their life easier, do it.

Jan 9th: Have lunch with a homeless person.

Jan 10th: Spend time with kids/teens in an after school program or in your neighborhood.

Jan 11th: Spend time with senior citizens getting to know their life and helping around their house.

Jan 12th: Give anonymously to an organization that works against human trafficking/modern day slavery. Side note: There's over 29.8 million slaves in the world today, more than any other point in history, including when slavery was legalized.

Jan 13th: Wash someone's feet. Before you say no, this is something that shows you genuinely care about someone. It's one of my favorite things Jesus did for his disciples.

Jan 14th: Compliment someone having a bad day. Be honest and mean it.

Jan 15th: Create something and give it to someone that doesn't like you

Jan 16th: Write to or visit someone in prison

Jan 17th: Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity

Jan 18th: Give comfort to someone you know is mourning. People are in mourning all around us if we open our eyes.

Jan 19th: Invite someone you just met to lunch and learn their story.

Jan 20th: Go a day without eating and spend the money you would have spent on a meal for someone else & donate canned goods/non perishable items to a shelter.

Jan 21st: Go to the beach, clean up, and then have fun! :)
