I AM BACKKKKK

For a few months, I was away for a…small..while👀 from the Sanders Sides Fandom, But I finally made a reunion with my love for this beloved series again!! So for the occasion, I did an redraw! (Which I think was drawn about few months ago) It was very fun to change some bits to match my currunt mindset!

My style has changed a bit which is kinda weird for me to look at ( ˙▿˙ )(wow....)

Despite not being a big fan of Sanders Sides anymore, I decided to finish my Virgil hoodie as one last commemoration.

No purple hoodie strings, sleeve zippers, or purple hood, but it's good enough for me!

This will probably be the last post I make on this blog. Thank you so much for the fun 3 years!

not to be salty on main but it’s really interesting that this–the criticism of how thomas wears skirts–is the “discourse” that spreads fast. this is the discourse the bigger blogs engage in, and this is the discourse i see all over my dash instead of having to search it up.

and it’s a valid discussion to have! thomas’ boundaries should be respected. but when i see all the voices speaking up to defend him, i’ve gotta notice that a lot of them have been really fucking silent on other stuff.

where were you guys when POC were harassed? when big-name fans were called out on harmful stereotypes? when non-apologies and guilt-tripping ran rampant? and i shouldn’t even say when. this stuff is still happening. this fandom has serious problems.

and it’s so obvious that a lot of people only engage in discourse inside their comfort zone, where they don’t have to do any kind of personal introspection. news flash: discourse that puts you in the right isn’t the only part that matters.

good on y’all for reinforcing boundaries with content creators. now speak up on some other stuff that really matters. stuff that doesn’t necessarily make you comfortable.

i can guarantee any issues you have with being a bystander–or an upstander–don’t measure up to the pain of being a victim.
