This post is about the norse God Loke, not MCU Loki. Feel free to skip if not interested. I've left everything else under the cut so it's easier to scroll past for the ones who wishes to do so.

I did a rune shuffle earlier today, and when I do it, I will typically ask 2 questions about myself and 2 about him for balance sake as well as connection. I want to shear the answers he gave me about himself because it might be interesting to know or maybe it'll help some new pagans understand our God a bit better. I might post more about his answers in the future, too, if people find this post interesting.

I typically use 3-rune spreads whenever i talk to him, and I've done the same in this session as well for better, more in-depth answers.

Answer interpretation:

People think Loki is chaos for chaos’ sake—reckless, selfish, maybe even cruel. But the runes tell a deeper truth:

Algiz is the rune of protection and sacred guardianship. Loki is a protector, especially of those cast aside, misunderstood, or going through personal transformation. He doesn’t always do this in gentle ways, but his guidance comes from fierce care. His disruption is often a form of defense—a way of clearing the path for truth, growth, or freedom.

Dagaz is the rune of awakening, daybreak, and sudden insight. Loki wants people to know that he isn’t just the fall—he’s the dawn after it. He doesn’t exist to ruin or hurt. He’s the one who wakes you up, breaks your illusions, and brings you through to a new kind of clarity. He’s the catalyst for liberation, not just disruption.

Loki is also not the god of fire. LOGI is. LOGI not LOKI. Actually, he's not even a God. He's a Jötunn. Jötunn aren't Gods. Loki only became half god after mixing his blood with Odin who is a god. Logi (Old Norse: loɣe) means "fire/flame" or (hɑːˌloɣe) which means "high flame" is actually the norse God (Jötunn) of fire...

Freya and Frigg are also not the same person, but this isn't about them, lol.

So my brother is a surgeon in real life, and he’s been doing some questionable things, which I’ve since found out after reading through my country’s laws isn’t just questionable, but actually illegal. Why am I telling people this? Because I was just researching about the Hippocratic oath, which is an oath all doctors must swear by. The Hippocratic oath is an ethical code that doctors swear to uphold when they enter the medical profession. It originates from Ancient Greece, attributed to Hippocrates, the so-called “father of medicine”. In modern medicine, not all doctors formally recite the Hippocratic oath, but they’re still bound by medical ethics and laws that uphold the same principles. If a doctor violates these ethical standards, they can face consequences ranging from professional sanctions(losing their medical license) to legal action if their negligence or actions break the law. Basically, they promise to do no harm, keep medical confidentiality, patient care and wellbeing, ethical medical practice, and teaching and knowledge shearing.

I’m making this post because I’m genuinely a little freaked out right now after talking to ChatGPT about the Hippocratic oath which is something I do to help stay organized, I entered the love and deepspace game just now and one of the first dialogue lines I get from Zayne is him mentioning the Hippocratic oath after I’d just talked about it on a different app, on a different device, that isn’t even owned by the same company. For reference, I play love and deepspace on my iPad and I talk about these things with ChatGPT on my android phone. At first I got confused, then I freaked out a little bit because of how on point his line was to what I’d just been talking about in real time. I planned to ask if anyone else who’s playing the game has ever gotten this dialogue line before? Or at least had a specific line pop up about something that you’ve just talked about? Though, as you can see in the 9 minute long screen recording below, I couldn’t get him to say it again, not even once. Then I was like, maybe infold added new dialogue lines, but why would he mention the Hippocratic oath? Like, I know he’s a doctor, but it’s still kind of random for him to talk about that subject specifically on top of the fact that he only said it once and right after I’d been talking about it. The game wasn’t even open when I was talking about it either, btw. Then I thought it might be the app listening in the way we see some other apps do, but infold has never talked about doing that to my knowledge, nor have I seen anyone else who plays the game ever mentioning something similar happening to them? And tailored ads doesn’t normally work that way either. The way it typically works is by relying on data from the same device. If the game was listening in, it would have to actively collecting data from a completely separate device. If infold was doing that, more people would’ve caught it by now, no? Not to mention it’s not an ad it’s literally one of his Home Screen dialogue lines and IT WON’T SHOW UP AGAIN. Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this too because idk how I feel about this 😭💀 btw, the video is just to prove he won’t say it again no matter how many times I tap on him.

Probably) know who doesn't know yet that the new 3.0 game update can be downloaded now so that people don't have to wait for however long before being able to play when the banners finally release. might be a universal thing, so maybe everyone is able to, idk. Loki Season 2, Deleted scene!!!

Listen… I THINK I JUST FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET THE LIMITED BANNER CARDS IN LADS WITHOUT SPENDING A FORTUNE…!!

I’m making this post after the Sylus banner that just ended as of yesterday…? Oct. 30th. 2024?

I like Sylus, but I’m mostly a Zayne main, so I wasn’t going to pull on his last banner event even though I really wanted his limited memory. I only did it because I was 19 pulls away from getting a guaranteed 5🌟, so I decided to do a single 10 pull just to see if I could be so lucky as to get it, and I actually did. I ended up spending more to get the pose, etc, stopping when I was 33 pulls away from another guaranteed 5🌟 wanting to wait for the next event so I could pull for Zayne, which I just did a moment ago. How long did it take me to get Zayne’s new limited memory? 20 pulls. How much of my real money did I have to spend? 0. And I’m still left with 660 diamonds as well as 2 wishes.

I know it’s not always easy to get wishes to spend so you can be close to a guaranteed 5🌟 when the banners are happening, but maybe instead of saving wishes and diamonds up ahead of time, it’s better to just try to get as close to the next guarantee 5🌟 as possible before the start of each banner.

Now, it’s just a theory.

I can’t be 100% sure that I’m not just being incredibly lucky recently yet.

But I do have 2 banners back-to-back where I did get the limited banner memories like that to show for.

At the end of the day, I just wanted to get it out there in case I’m actually on to something here to help other LADS players. Plz don’t kill me if it doesn’t work for you, lol. I also realize it won’t work the same if it’s a multi-banner, but it might make it easier to get at least one of the memories in those instances, too. I’ll try to screen record the next limited event for better proof

Wait I don’t know if anyone’s talked about this before, but in Jotun Loki fics, people always have the reader touch him while he’s in that form which sort of… never made sense to me.

Considering the fact that he’d be reverted to his Jotun form, wouldn’t anyone who touched him began to freeze? Hence why (perhaps one of the reasons) Loki in Thor 1 was so apprehensive about grabbing Odin’s hand, with the hand the Jotun grabbed him by and reverted him with in Jotunheim?

I… don’t think you’d be able to touch him. And he wouldn’t just be cold to the touch. Loki is ALREADY quite cold to the touch canonically (right bottom corner shown in the picture above), so in his Jotun form… he’d be freezing.

Anyone please correct me if I’m wrong, though. Was just wondering because I always had the sort of idea that if you touched Loki while he was reverted to his Jotun form, that it would be dangerous. Just like touching any other Jotun.

Which is one of the reasons he was probably afraid to grab Odin’s hand. Not only at the thought of himself being a “monster” and untouchable in that sense, but also literally being untouchable because it wasn’t necessarily safe and he was hyper conscious of it, even if he had already been reverted back.

I get people excuse things for the sake of Fanfic, but I actually don’t think I’ve seen people talk about this before. So I don’t know if it’s just them excusing it, or a fandom-wide misconception.

May reword this later. Probably sounds a bit stupid and might be straight up incorrect in some areas because I just woke up.

There's this creator on IG under the name pegan_store. She has a lot of cool things for putting together your alter. It's where I got my stuff from. As for what I do with the offerings... it depends. If it's items, then I leave them sitting on his alter indefinitely while I simply leave food items or anything else that will eventually spoil on it for no more than a week before throwing it out. At the end of the day, just have fun with it. I don't think there were ever any specific rules for how to and not to do things when it comes to these things
