I'm a little embarassed when I think about how many times I've attempted to make a cohesive, comprehensive, versitile color palette for TS4 recoloring. But I tested each of these colors in Photoshop on a dress diffuse to make sure I loved each one and they were necessary to the whole picture.

Can you tell I borrowed a lot of colors from OPI nail polish? 😂

I think I've finally found the one. I know I haven't shared content in a long time, and a lot of my old work is broken. This blog is an unorganized mess. But I'm always playing, and I still enjoy creating. Most of my latest projects are personal and I don't clean them up for sharing. But I'm going to work on actually polishing and posting what I do make in case there are any other players looking for the same CC I need.

All that rambling to say—I'm always here, thank you for sticking around, and enjoy the labor of love that is my current definitive color palette. 🩷

Builers who use all packs + popular CC

Do you know of anyone (or do you) build using a lot of packs and/or CC from popular creators (harrie, felixandre, pierisim, peacekeeper, etc)? On the gallery I just run into mostly BGC or limited packs. I love all of the content in the full range of packs and from the talented CC creators, but I am not a good enough builder to use them for their full potential!

Does anyone have a download link for Simpire's Duchess of Oldemburg Diamond Tiara/Necklace? This image in their imperial collection just links to their homepage. I downloaded their "all tiaras" collection and went through all of their downloads twice but I can't find this anywhere!

The 1400s gave way to the incredibly iconic accessories of the 1500s, namely hoods (both Gabled and French) and ruffs. While the end of the Tudor era saw the popularity of headdresses decline in favour of uncovered hair decorated with jewels, diadems, and feathers, prior to that headdresses were a vital part of court dress. In fact, the style of hood worn was often used as a political statement amongst the nobility. Hats had always been in fashion for men, but the 16th century saw them also become a fashion staple for women. CC links under the cut.

I love this cottage living dress, but wanted to make a version without the buttons down the front. Got the diffuse, specular, and normal maps done tonight and it’s looking great in CAS. :)

The Color Collection: Part 1 | Free Download

This Color Collection project has been months in the making, and I'm elated to release the first part. I started it for a couple of reasons:

- Base game clothes are ugly

- The base game clothes I did like had limited swatches in unattractive colors

- I needed more options for storytelling purposes and challenges like the Not So Berry Challenge

My mission is to make as many articles as possible available in 45 beautiful swatches. I painstakingly hand-picked this palette to be the best, comprehensive, yet thoughtfully curated sets of colors. If you need a specific color for your sims, I want you to find it here.

I will continue going through the catalogue, releasing in batches like this. These are just the first four base game full-body outfits. I hope you enjoy!

Hi, when I have both your tiny living recolor bedroom and living room sets in my game, the wall art seems to cancel out and only one set of swatches will show up while the other package file shows the same image for each swatch. I love love love your wall art from both sets so much and was wondering if you had a fix for this issue?

I found out I did these wrong (thank you to the kind creators who answer my questions on discord, lol). I'm looking into redoing these so they're correct! :)

hey! i've never downloaded CC before and i'd really like to get some of yours! however.. um i have a mac and whenever i try to download your stuff it says "there is no application set to open the document" do you have any idea how i can fix this or do you not have mac? thanks haha <3

I have a feeling this is an old ask and I'm sorry I'm just now answering it! Have you found your mods folder within your Sims 4 folder? I have my mod folder dragged to the sidebar of my finder so it's easy to drop files in there. Just wanted to let you know that there appears to be something wrong with the Willow recolor after the July 20th, 2021 update (the one that added ponds) Every time i try to place one of the items in the collection i get a Last Exception after my game freezes for about 20 sec. The exception report says that it is a State error, if that helps.

Ughhhh. So sorry! I'm not talented enough to fix any major issues - I'll likely just remake it. :(

I’m just playing around in Blender but I’m kind of obsessed...I love historical gameplay and was tinkering around with an Outlander dress. Hopefully I can post more content soon, but I have so much to learn about meshing. I do have a simple mesh edit bridesmaid dress ready to go but I’ve been too lazy to take in-game screenshots.

As much as I love recoloring, I’m determined to learn some more advanced cc skills. I’m always working on stuff even if I’m not posting much! :)
