I genuinely think an important step to destigmatizing abortion is to ditch the phrase “pro-choice” in favor of “pro-abortion”. Abortion isn’t some horrible crime that you need to avoid speaking about, and we don’t need to use euphemisms just to make it more palatable to the center right. Obviously supporting abortion doesn’t mean you think all pregnancies should be aborted, so why do we feel the need to justify it? I support the right to choose, which is why i’m pro-abortion.
