hm... so whoever killed valentine must not have added any cyanide to this - i'm pretty sure the smell cassidy described would've been fairly obvious if they had - but that doesn't rule out thallium quite yet.

...i think i saw a water-testing kit or two when i checked the pharmacy last time, though i didn't take that close of a look at it back then. if i'm remembering it correctly, and if it can be used to test for thallium...

well, there's hardly any water left in this bottle - or in each of the others cassidy found, for that matter - but all the dregs combined might show something that would've gone overlooked otherwise.

i can't speak for the rest - i was in the courtyard for a while before the announcement - but that last part lines up with what i remember.

I guess I can start by getting alibis! We were together in the pharmacy with Valentine, before he asked you to leave. I tried to tell him not to do anything rash, but he told me to get out as well, just a little bit after you…. I returned to my dorm room, and took care of the opossums for the rest of the time until the BDA.

hm... now i'm wondering when those disappeared in the first place. when i checked the pharmacy myself a few days ago, i didn't notice anything missing from the shelves... meaning they either vanished after that time or long enough before that their disappearances got forgotten about.
