so work has kept me away mostly since my post on saturday and this is rather late of an announcement but i’d rather now than wait any longer. but !! seeing the likes on my original post regarding the closed group and not hearing much else, i’m going to assume that means you all are interested in keeping gristol going and writing as a closed group. all i ask is that you like this so i know you’re fully interested and i can post an unfollow of accounts that won’t be associated. also, since this will now be a closed group, if you’d like to add another muse to your existing ones then just send in an app and i can keep the character page updated. hopefully by tomorrow evening i can have a sense and we can pick back up with writing if everyone would like !! ily all x - admin kristina

hello, everyone !! first off, i just want to apologize for being spotty with activity on main the past week. i had some personal issues that appeared ranging from work to family, etc. and it generally just wasn’t a good week for me since my mental health kinda took a dive and it’s still down there. the times when i feel like this i get hit with a lack of motivation to do much and the general lack of activity of ppl joining without ever posting or making an effort kinda has me feeling extra unmotivated. that’s not to say there’s the amazing group of you who continue to be active and do replies and i love all of you for your dedication and your a+ muses. i just feel it’s unfair of me to keep things up in the air but i truly do love writing with all of you and you’re all some of the best ppl in the community i’ve wrote with in a long time.

that being said, i do have two options that i would love to hear your opinions on bc despite keeping up with the main and admin duties being too much for me rn, i would still love to write with all of you. if you’d like i can make this a closed group w slow activity and potentially invite only if you still want to write and if you have rp friends you’d know you’d like to join ?? either way, i’m just not in the right state of mind w everything going on w me right now to run this. but i’d really like to hear your guys’ thoughts who’ve been here consistent with your activity. i still v much love my characters and the connections i have going so even though i may not be present on the main, i would still love to write with all of you. if not that then perhaps it’s best to let gristol rest as is. but yes !! pls let me know your thoughts bc i value all of your opinions !! <3 - admin kristina

how active and welcoming is this?

i’m not just saying this bc i’m an admin, but everyone in this group that i’ve spoken to has been the sweetest and the most lovely people i’ve wrote with in a group in a long time ?? as far as activity goes, i’m not gonna lie and say the dash is moving all the time bc that would be misleading. but that doesn’t mean we don’t have dedicated members bc we do !! i base it off of the fact that everyone has a life away from the computer screen and some days you may not have muse, so the dash is relaxed and comfortable. that being said, we have dedicated members and what i enjoy about our activity is that ppl sign in and do replies when they can bc they love their characters and connections. which tbh, if the dash is considered slow bc of it then i don’t mind bc our members make up for it in dedication.
