The Behr´s - part. 3

The final part is here and yes, I did save the best for last ;) at least it is for me!

I´ll start with the basement, it was a journey 😅

Basement

The basement door is at the dining room, at the very far corner of it. And this is the first thing you see, and now looking at it is kinda spooky hahaha it wasn´t really my intention tho. The one on the left is Candy´s space and the one on the right is just an old bookcase... or maybe it´s not...🧐 (it´s not actually. It´s that secret gaming/lounge space for Yuki I mentioned on part 1, forgive my cheesy atempt on being mysterious)

Let´s see the night club first!

Nightclub - Candy´s Space

So the first thing I was certain about this build when I started it, was to put the DJ booth on the basement. The build originally didn´t have one, but that thing is huge, and I wasn´t feeling it! I wanted hte house to be very old, the dj booth was very out of place you know? So that´s what I did!

It was hard to make it look cool and dark and vibey, I took way too long deciding wich color the lights were going to be, but at the end I can say that I´m proud of it!

*of course, now that i´m seeing it after some time, i would change some things but, that´s just me being too picky*

Secret Gaming... Dungeon (? idk) - Yuki´s Space

Now THIS was my favorite room to make and decorate. I surprised myself, was not expecting to like it so much!

But why behind a secret door? Well, the lore I made up on my head was that Candy took the "only" room of the basement because she is in charge now, she is the one that have to pay the bills in time, go grocery shopping, help and guide her younger sister, because Yuki now sees Candy as her role model. The nightclub is something that Candy can make some money off of it as well so everything made sense.

Yuki didn´t mind, she knew that bookcase was actually a door to a small room where she played when she was a kid. I imagine Candy and Yuki being.. not that compatible and that they have a big difference in age.

How did she decorate it without Candy knowing? Hey!! Don´t ask me questions I can´t respond!!😬

And that´s why I could never make a savefile!

Attic

This one wasn´t planned, but everything was making sense so I went with it!

Very messy, very old, dusty, stained and probably smelly (a strong smell of paint okay, nothing actually gross!)

The lore on this one was nothing crazy, grandma Behr, was an artsy lady! She took a scholarship and went to Britechester University because of her love of art; didn´t actually work with art though, in my head her job was something boring and that could pay her way more (i know in the sims being a painter is amazing and you became rich, but anyway...).

This was her passion and she´d spent hours in here just being creative! When seh got off work and it was one of does awful days, in a place you don´t like, with people you don´t like, she´d come up there for a pick me up🥰. I hope I have something like that in the future!

And that´s the end! This was a very pleasant surprise, I went to it not really inspired but I think it was one of my favorite build I made! I´m very proud of the floorplan, it´s something I´m not really good at, I take waaaaayy too long, but this one was actually... smooth? idk, I´m rambling

The Behr´s - part. 2

I´ll be showcasing the 2nd floor of the renovated Behr house! It starts at the landing of the 1st floor stairs:

Landing

guess where´s Candy´s bedroom

Fun fact: grandma Behr was an art history student at Britechester, that diploma on the left of that gallery wall is in fact, hers.

Guest Bedroom

once again, very small and simple. I didn´t want to clutter this space that much, no one really uses this room sooo

Bathroom

This one is right beside Yuki´s bedroom, so I decorated a tiny bit (her room is very decorated) because i was imagining Yuki to be that girl that just doesn´t leave her room unless absolutely necessary XD, she´s not that really into makeup like her sister, so that´s what I had in mind.

Candy´s Bedroom

This room was originally where grandma Behr and her partner used to sleep. Back in the day, the first entrance were very fancy, but Candy renovated and redid the walls! You can notice that is the only place I changed the wallpaper (excluding bathrooms and basement)!

Since Candy is the older sister, she got the big bedroom like all older sisters do, and that mean she has her own bathroom, and this was one of my favorite rooms I´ve done in this house!

Yuki´s Bedroom

This room is tucked away far of the landing, it has a strange shape to it but Yuki made it work! She renovated a small part of her room as well! Yuki changed that old pendant light, painted the walls black, and saved money to buy the tv she always dreamed off!

*the amount of joy I felt when I managed to imprint the ideia I had in my head into this one room is insane!! i love it so so much look at it!!*

The Behr´s

I renovated the Behr residence! I´ve been redoing the entire world of Winderburg for a while now but this one is not the first build I renovated, but it´s the first one I decided to share here.

Since the description that EA made of them mentions that Candy and Yuki inherited their house from their grandmother, i did just that (what an old grandma´s house is for me at least..)

Also, I tried my best to put some more modern things that Candy or Yuki would´ve put there to decorate the space and make it not so, you know, ''grandma house''.

i tried to make it very overgrwon and not much cared for, since the sisters don´t really have an interest in doing so

Entryway

very cluttered and small, but I was very happy about it!

I was imagining that maybe the parents of Candy and Yuki were detectives. That one painting from get to work that there´s 2 pictures of detectives, one male and the other female, just made sense in my head idk :p

Living room

I absolutely love this living room... there´s diplomas every where, probably grandma Behr was very good student, and proud of her daughter and granddaughters!

This one portrait at the side of the tv was grandma Behr at her youth. And the urn... is also her... SORRy this might be sad idk! Where I´m from is really common okay don´t yell at me I might cry

Half Bath/Laundry

*i´m now realizing that this half bath looks squeeky clean compared to the rest of the house... smh*

Dining Room

There´s a coffee bar with some crafts that little Yuki and little Candy made when they were at kindergarden, a present to grandma Behr! She teared up I can garantee it!

Kitchen

extremely small, but very cute in my opinion!

That´s the entire first floor, since this house has a basement with a secret gaming/lounge space and a freaking nightclub, an attic that is and art studio, i´ll make this into probably 2 or 3 posts... but yeah that´s it!!

side note: I don´t use reshade because my laptop cannot handle it, and I didn´t edit any of the screenshots because, honestly, I tried and failed miserably, so if you find it very strange I apologize, but that´s how i play it... I hope it´s not that jarring D:

(August 17th, 2024) , The Lesmana family is honored to be invited to the residence of His Majesty the Grand Duke of Henford, the Dane Castle in New Old Henford to speak about future Renovation and Restoration project of the 600 year old castle.

His Majesty the Grand Duke guided the Lesmanas to the most important parts of the castle that needs restoration. We carefully sketch and note down every little details of this 38-room-castle.

Henford-On-Bagley boasts incredible preservation of its flora and fauna, which plays a great part to the countryside's beauty.

Plans were Made, and Visions were Laid Down.

Hey Sim creators, why don’t yall ever add wrinkles to your Sims??? The sheer amount of skinblends out there that give Adults and Elders hardly ANY wrinkles so they look young and porcelain is frankly just astounding. Give your Sims wrinkles!! They aren’t bad!! They aren’t ugly!! Include wrinkles on your OCs, townies, test Sims, etc.!! Wrinkly hands! Creased foreheads! Saggy cheeks! Droopy jawlines! Crowsfeet! Veiny hands! You name it!

I see all these posts about moles, stretch marks, birth marks, but absolutely nothing on wrinkles. Stop being afraid of them you cowards. >:I
