Lloyd chuckles, reaching into his pocket. He pulls out his phone, but he can't help but look at Huey with an amused look still on his face. "You managed to injure yourself doing that? How?" It's one of the simplest dances Lloyd had seen in recent memory...!

"I can call a doctor, but mind if I take a look real quick? Maybe I could do something to put everything back in place."

"Look this is what popular with the kids these days. I think they called it flossing and ugh......"

There this awkward pause.....as Huey look almost embrasses.

"I think i might have accidently thrown my hip and dislocated something....can ya call the doctor? I think i'm kinda stuck...."

alright! after much thought about it, the event i've chosen for lloyd is going to covet. is it a surprise that the guy's deepest wish is for his father? for the duration of the rerun, garmadon will be following lloyd around as a manifestation that only lloyd can really see. unfortunately for lloyd, he has been visited by jessenia, meaning this version of garmadon is the one that lloyd can no longer call his father. while this version of his father is one that can't be seen by others, lloyd will be running around frantically trying to get away from him or trying to stop an invisible threat from destroying everything around them. consider this a starter call for covet!lloyd! if you'd like to help keep a frantic guy from freaking out too much, go ahead and give this a like. capping at two!

Please note that this does not begin until Friday, December 20th at 12:00:01am EST. No starters, info posts, or ads can be made before that point. This is just an information post for preparation's sake!

We previously teased that we'd be doing something different for the December event, and this is it! Because everyone is busy with the holidays and there are likely event reruns some members would like to do but can't since they never win the polls, we decided to try a period where you can choose whichever event you'd like to write during the three week event period. We're posting this in advance so you can think about what you'd like to pick!

There are, of course, some rules and caveats for this:

Most events are available to be chosen but not all of them. This is because some of the staff who wrote those events are no longer with us. You can find a list of eligible events at the bottom of this post!

You must choose a single event to receive event participation with on any single blog. You're more than welcome to thread with others doing other events so that they have people to write with, but you can only claim participation for a single event during this period!

There is a flat reward of a free unlock for everyone who participates regardless of whether or not the event you pick gives an unlock. This is so everyone receives an unlock regardless of the event chosen. Picking one that gives an unlock will not give you two, you will still only receive the single unlock. You must write at least 300 IC words for your chosen event to be eligible to claim the unlock.

The usual rules on the EVENT RERUN GUIDE still apply! Your character will see the city in the state that it was in during that event, and will believe everyone is going through the same thing.

A more complete post will be made on Friday with any questions that have been asked in the interim. So if you have any questions about how things work, please send them to the masterlist (not the Discord server) before Friday!

Lloyd observes the man in front of him, hand on his hip, trying... and failing at holding himself back from smiling amusingly at the sight before him.

"Whatever it is, if you need help with it you can always ask, you know."

Though, something told Lloyd that wasn't the case at all... Whatever he's about to throw himself into, he's been through worse.

His memories of this place are few and far between - but the one thing that remained heavy on the front of Lloyd's mind was how truly alone he had felt the last time he was here. With nobody from home, Lloyd had no other choice but to branch out and meet others. To an extent, it felt as though he had to start over, and he's so sure he had met people he could consider his close friends.

The only issue is Lloyd doesn't remember who those people were, and now he's back in Spirale - memories in tact, but as alone as he could get. He doesn't expect to find anyone he knows here, let alone anyone back at home, and that's why--

When he finds himself standing just a few feet away from someone he had thought he wouldn't ever get the chance to see again for years, Lloyd is at a loss of words. He can practically feel his heart beating through his chest, in his throat. He can hear the loud thumping in his ears, as he takes a few moments to himself to just stare and confirm with himself that who he's seeing in front of him is exactly who he thinks it is.

"...Akita?"

No- he knows it's her. He could never mistake her for anybody else.

Without waiting another moment, Lloyd runs to her as fast as he can. Arms wrap around her tightly, bringing her into a tight embrace that even he's surprised he can muster up.

"It's you! I-- I didn't know if I would ever get the chance to see you again!"

Oh, it's just his luck that it starts pouring completely out of nowhere. Pulling the hoodie he wears up over his head in an attempt to block himself out from getting completely drenched, Lloyd takes a look at his surroundings - scoping out the nearest place with a roof he could get into to camp out at until the rain lets up.

Luckily for him, he isn't too far from one! Unfortunately, it's an outside roof, but he'll take it. Rushing beneath it, Lloyd pulls off his hoodie once he gets there, letting out a loud groan of frustration as he does.

"Where the heck did this rain even come from? I swear, it was clear just a minute ago."

Lloyd grumbles beneath his breath, wringing out his now soaked hoodie, completely unaware of his surroundings and those around him.

Needing some time to decompress and do some form of breathing exercise away from the general public was something Lloyd found himself doing quite often. Especially when there were so many questions on his mind - especially when they plagued him so heavily. It's no surprise that he finds himself deep in the forests late at night. Not like he could sleep, anyways.

Lloyd keeps his eyes closed, taking a deep breath through his nose, trying to remain calm.

"...But, if you're just trying to get by, ignore me. Forget I ever said that."

Lloyd rarely, if ever, got a chance to have the time to himself back at home. Let alone visit a cafe, get something for himself just because he could - for the longest time, he had managed to convince himself that indulging in luxury was something that just wasn't on his radar.

It's just a cafe, Lloyd. You don't need to think too much on it.

Lloyd tells himself, taking a deep breath through his nose. In his hands is a paper cup, filled to the brim with the first type of tea that sounded appetizing to him. The cafe was particularly busy that day, with just about every table being taken. All but one, and it seemed as though nobody else was going to take it. He carries himself there, ready to allow himself to take some time to himself. Just as he places his cup down on the table--

So does somebody else.

"Woops." Lloyd lets out a nervous laugh, looking the stranger in the eye with a bit of an awkward smile. "Sorry. Didn't see you there. Did you want to sit here? I can go find a spot outside if you wanted it!"

"It appears so, huh..."

Lloyd moreso mumbles to himself, though he's loud enough for the other man to hear him loud and clear. Turning his attention towards him, Lloyd only nods his head, a small smile forming on his lips.

"Yeah, I was hoping to get some quiet away from everything to collect my thoughts and recuperate. You as well?"

"It looks to be that the owner is not here."

Being here is giving him some kind of side effect and yet he stands in front of the shrine like it's nothing. Looks like whoever ownes this place knows what they're doing.

"Such a shame. I was hoping to pay them a visit. I assume you are here for the same reason?" Certainly THIS place looked like a great place for meditation.
