it is officially the end of our summer campfire event !! because this event was only a week and the emoji starters were popular, you are more than welcome to continue your threads. also if you have any students or staff at the academy, they have also technically returned back to school. on the flip side, any newly graduated alumni can be working in their new jobs !!

event_005 : end_of_summer_beach_campfire

with summer coming to end it only make sense to go out with a big shebang, a beach campfire. with tents lining the sand and a roaring campfire at the center of it all, what better way to relax, kick back and maybe finish off with some summer romances. we all know that it never stays warm long in grove harbour, so let’s make the most of the warmth now. 

an event for many academy attendee’s, newbies and those who have lived all their lives, the end of summer campfire is not to be missed. what better way to make some new connections and maybe have some surprising fun thrown into the mix. 

we hear the campfire is kicking off on the 1st of september and expected to last till the sun rises. we know where we’re going to be, do you?

the event will last a week and will start september 1st at noon gmt and end september 8th at the same time. we ask those who are taking part in the event to put their conversations on hold until it ends.

we ask you track the tag #grovehqcampfire and post any starters related to the event there along with the normal starter tag. while the event is not mandatory for all your characters to attend, please make that clear by tagging and non-event related starters with #nonevent as well as the normal starter tag.

are the students moving up a year or the fourth years graduating soon? i'm just wondering if i missed it or not.

our early summer event that celebrated their graduation had to be postponed for some personal reasons (this year has been rough for us all) so we have plans to have an end of summer event soon !! it was going to be written in the event post but if muns wish to already send jobs their fourth years would be moving onto they are more than welcome to !!

Can you take up a character based on one already in existence in the marvel/dc fandom? Or do they have to be completely oc?

we are okay with you basing off a character off of someone in marvel/dc canon !! but for example if you take up tom holland with spider physiology/powers, we just ask that he’s not named ‘peter parker’, etc.
